About: I’ve had dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes my entire life, and caring for animals has always been a huge part of who I am. Over the years I’ve owned and cared for many different breeds and personalities, including Saint Bernards, Great Danes, and Coonhounds, which gave me plenty of experience handling large and giant-breed dogs. I’ve also shared my home with multiple cats over the years—many of them seniors—so I understand the patience, routine, and gentle care older pets often need. I’ve spent years fostering animals as well, frequently working with senior pets and dogs that may be anxious or slow to trust new people. I pride myself on being patient and letting animals warm up to me at their own pace so they can feel comfortable and safe while their owners are away. My home currently includes an Alaskan Klee Kai and a Border Collie mix, so daily life already revolves around exercise, enrichment, and making sure dogs stay happy and engaged. When I travel, my trips are often pet-focused—I’ve driven cross-country multiple times with my dogs to explore new trails, parks, and adventures together. For walks, drop-ins, and house sitting, I always aim to keep pets on their normal routine so they feel secure in their own home. As a larger and experienced handler, I’m comfortable managing multiple dogs on leash and adapting to different energy levels—whether your dog loves long walks and playtime or prefers relaxed companionship and a calm presence. I’m also experienced in administering most medications and providing attentive care for senior pets who may need a little extra support. I have a very flexible work schedule, and can accommodate most dogs needs! As far as overnight sitting, I will be there from 8 pm until 8 am and will also be coming by a few times a day. Puppies and youngsters (or whoever needs it!) can be accommodated with more drop ins just let me know! If you require 24/7 care this can be arranged as well just let me know prior to booking! Your dog’s comfort and routine are my top priorities. I provide focused attention, interactive play, and companionship tailored to your pup’s personality — from calm evenings at home to energetic walks or adventures at parks and trails. I’m experienced with all sizes and breeds, so whether your dog is a tiny pup or a gentle giant, they’ll receive care that’s attentive, confident, and consistent. My goal is for your dog to feel safe, happy, and fully engaged throughout their stay
“Lena was fantastic. She communicated often so we knew how our dog was doing. She took great care of our dog gave her lots of love and plenty of exercise. We would highly recommend !!!”

“Taylor is fantastic - patient with my grouchy old pup and kept up with my hyper young Aussie. An overnight trip was a stress-free experience for me and the dogs thanks to Taylor!”

“Jason & Tracy are awesome!!! I just came back from an Alaskan cruise and I never had to worry about Little Buddy, my cat! They took such loving care of him as if he were their own! Every time I came into port and got wifi signal, there was a new picture of Little Buddy looking very content! You couldn't ask for better TLC for your cat or dog!! :-)”

“I highly recommend Cristina. Our timid Italian Greyhound warmed up to her quickly and even our cat came out for a cameo visit. She communicated well and sent pictures of the kids. I will be using her again! Thank you Cristina J”

“Bo is so great! Rowdy and a new bff, for sure. She is extremely communicative, caring, and respectful. Our dog was walked to his heart’s content, loved on and well cared for while we were away. She even changed the sheets so a following house sitter wouldn’t need to do it when he arrived. We will book Bo again for sure, and Rowdy is thrilled.”

About: I have had dogs my whole life and have been pets sitting for them since my teens. I started taking care of cats 4 years ago and have since fallen in love with them. They are so different from dogs but I love them just the same and can't wait to have some myself in the future! I am able to do day sits and overnights regularly but do have clients that pre-book a year out or months in advance. My calendar is typically up to date on all prior commitments. If any changes may occur I always let you know far in advance. On top of the background check from Rover, I have a security clearance from the federal government due to my previous full time employment experience as a government contractor. As of March 2026, I am insured by the Pet Sitters Association.

About: My biggest priority is communication! I love to send check ins and pictures throughout the day, and often ask questions. I will always double check instructions to make sure your pet has the care you intended. I am also outdoorsy and love to walk! I will always extend a walk if I can, not cut it short or do the bare minimum. I am committed to giving your pet the exercise and attention the deserve! I am a nanny, student, and big fan of exercise! I have alot going on in my day, but often have gaps in between that allow me to visit your animals and get them outside. I can often be found doing homework in the evenings, and I always seem to get so much more done when dogsitting! I will always follow instructions and ask questions if I am not sure. I will never feed your pet anything that is not from you, and I will use proper precautions, leashes, harnesses, etc, when outside. I will always clean up after myself and be diligent about locking doors and leaving the house as I found it.
“Michael did a great job housesitting and watching our dog and two cats. He was very communicative and professional and we really loved the pictures he sent. He really spent time letting the cats warm up to him which we loved. And of course our pitbull mix LOVED him. We’d high recommend and hope to become return customers.”

About: I have worked alongside my mom who has been with Rover for 8 years! I took care of my own dog in my college dorm for a year as well! I’m currently a student at AACC and I’m working on weekend at a restaurant! Most days, I work on schoolwork and hangout with my own dogs at home! I try to take my dog out every hour to two hours because she loves being outside! I try to give her fresh water every few hours and she is feed twice a day! We also go on walks when it’s nice out!
“Louise was amazing! She updated me along the way and took care of my dog while I was out of town! She responded quickly and made sure to send pics of my dog so I didn’t worry about her!! Highly highly recommend!!!!!”

About: I've always been great with animals, able to read them and good at figuring out what they need. I volunteered at Animal Welfare League of Queen Anne's County for several years starting in High School. I've worked closely with large animals with behavioral problems, so I'm down the handle whatever quirks your pet has. I am currently getting my master's degree in Annapolis. I have classes and work twice a week but can still provide services with enough prior notice. I'm very adept at reading animals behavior and figuring out when they need attention, when they need space, and good at gaining an animals' trust.
“Julie was fantastic! Communicate her arrival, departure, updates on the pups, pictures. Tesla and Eevie were content and happy. Glad I found her; recommended and I will have her watch the pups anytime!”

“Ashley is a wonderful dog and house sitter! She took great care of Sadie for a week while we were out of town. She did everything I requested and was always very kind and courteous. The house looked exactly how we left it. Not a thing out of place. She is very trustworthy and highly dependable. I would recommend her to anyone!”
