About: Before joining Rover I mainly provided my services through word of mouth. I have experience with providing basic medical care for dogs and cats, and training experience including potty training and easing separation anxiety. I have vast experience and knowledge on various breeds and their specific needs, and really just love being able to have the time and availability to be able to provide these services. They say a dog is a man’s best friend, but in my case, a dog has always been a woman’s best friend! I offer dog sitting, walking, training and boarding at my home as well. Growing up, my mom had five dogs—some of which had puppies—and I helped raise and care for them. I’ve also cared for cats in multi-pet households, including feeding, litter box maintenance, and creating calm, safe environments for shy or senior cats. I understand the importance of making sure your guidelines for your pet are followed. I can give oral medications, follow your training rules, walk large dogs, handle dogs that aren’t friendly with strangers, high anxiety, and have disabilities (ex. Deaf, blind). I work fully remote and am able to support daycare and boarding. I usually walk my dog morning, mid day and evening for 30 min to an hour at a time. I’d like to be able to support other people who need assistance. During the week your dog won’t be left alone for more than an hour depending on drop off and pick up time. During the weekend your dog won’t be left longer than 3-4 hours depending. We can always communicate your dogs specific needs to accommodate! I have a fenced yard in our home and a friendly, playful 2 year old male lab (fixed). If your dog is in my home, they do need to be friendly with other dogs. During the week I do work full time so there are times where I am in meetings so it is preferred your dog is not destructive or is okay in a crate or enclosed room during meetings. Over the years I’ve owned and cared for many different breeds and personalities, including Saint Bernards, Great Danes, and Coonhounds, which gave me plenty of experience handling large and giant-breed dogs. I’ve also shared my home with multiple cats over the years—many of them seniors—so I understand the patience, routine, and gentle care older pets often need. I’ve spent years fostering animals as well, frequently working with senior pets and dogs that may be anxious or slow to trust new people. I pride myself on being patient and letting animals warm up to me at their own pace so they can feel comfortable and safe while their owners are away. My home currently includes an Alaskan Klee Kai and a Border Collie mix, so daily life already revolves around exercise, enrichment, and making sure dogs stay happy and engaged. When I travel, my trips are often pet-focused—I’ve driven cross-country multiple times with my dogs to explore new trails, parks, and adventures together. For walks, drop-ins, and house sitting, I always aim to keep pets on their normal routine so they feel secure in their own home. About: When it comes to my pet care experience I have always had a pet at home. I thoroughly enjoy being around animals therefore, this affords me the opportunity to enjoy my work. For drop-in visits after I have exercised the dog by taking it out I will remain in the home to play with the dog so they have the opportunity to release more energy. About: My biggest priority is communication! I love to send check ins and pictures throughout the day, and often ask questions. I will always double check instructions to make sure your pet has the care you intended. I am also outdoorsy and love to walk! I will always extend a walk if I can, not cut it short or do the bare minimum. I am committed to giving your pet the exercise and attention the deserve! I am a nanny, student, and big fan of exercise! I have alot going on in my day, but often have gaps in between that allow me to visit your animals and get them outside. I can often be found doing homework in the evenings, and I always seem to get so much more done when dogsitting! I will always follow instructions and ask questions if I am not sure. I will never feed your pet anything that is not from you, and I will use proper precautions, leashes, harnesses, etc, when outside. I will always clean up after myself and be diligent about locking doors and leaving the house as I found it.

About: Dog mom to a friendly 3-year-old Lab mix and passionate about providing loving, attentive care. I’ve owned a dog for the past 12 years, but grew up caring for my friends and neighbors pets. Your pup will enjoy plenty of attention, walks on the Baltimore & Annapolis Trail, or relaxed time in our fenced backyard. Whether they’re young and energetic or a senior who prefers a slower pace, I’ll treat them like family and care for them as if they were my own. For boarding, during the work week we are not home from 8:30-2:30. We will be home all day on the weekends. For walking and drop ins, I am available in the afternoon and evening during the week, all day on the weekends. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. We have a secure fenced-in backyard where dogs can safely play, explore, and enjoy time outdoors. We have indoor cameras to monitor the house while we are at work. Our friendly 3-year-old Lab mix loves meeting new canine friends and provides great companionship for visiting dogs. I carefully supervise all interactions and make sure each dog feels comfortable in our home. We have an 11 year old and 6 year old that both grew up with a dog and are very caring and respectful of boundaries. They will be supervised while with your dog. Whether your pup enjoys active play, relaxing in the yard, or extra attention and cuddles, they’ll be treated like a member of the family in a safe, loving, and trustworthy environment.
