“Sarah did a wonderful job caring for Bart and Poppy for nearly two weeks in our home. She communicated and sent pictures regularly and also managed our plants. We feel confident and trust that she would demonstrate the same level of professionalism with your pets and home. We plan to use Sarah again and give her a very high recommendation. Thank you Sarah!”

About: New to Jacksonville. I’ve owned plenty of pets growing up, experienced with dogs large and small. Very patient with animals in general. I own a French Bulldog, his name is Billy. He is very energetic, and gets along with everyone. I own a food business and bartend part-time, so my schedule is flexible. My mom will also be home around the clock, for extra supervision. There’s plenty to do around my neighborhood. Billy will also be there to keep them company whenever they want, and will respect when they just want to chill.

“Scott was absolutely amazing and I highly recommend him for you dog sitting needs. He took Hugo on multiple long walks and hung out with him during the day. We felt at ease knowing our pup was being cared for by Scott.”

“Hannah did an amazing job taking care of my dog, Marley! I’ve used Rover a couple of times, but Hannah is by far the best dog sitter I’ve used from Rover. It’s very difficult to find a really great, and reliable sitter. She stayed overnight in my house and stayed in touch with me throughout whether it was texting or sending me pictures of Marley. Marley loved Hannah! I will definitely be using Hannah again!”

“Sarah was awesome with my cat! Super friendly, reliable, clean and asking if any additional help needed. I loved getting little updates while I was away—it gave me total peace of mind. Definitely would have her pet sit again!”

About: I've taken care of numerous animals over the years & done everything from deep cleaning them in the bath to wrapping a kitty burrito to clip their claws! In recent years I've taken care of my senior dog, walking her up to 10 times a day and cleaning up after her when her stomach is acting up. It's hard work but worth it when you have a companion for life! I also recently raised my kitten from a month old, staying up late nights to train him on solid foods, using a litter box, and keeping him comfortable! I'd love to get some extra animal time in caring for your little ones! I am currently working part time with plenty of time for your pets! With an inconsistent work schedule, Tuesdays are my only promised full day off but I have time in the week for Drop-ins, walks and occasional overnight stays! I will treat your pet as if they are my own! Walks, rubs, and play time will be ample and your animals needs will be my priority. I am able to do walks multiple times a day and keep a calm, comfortable environment while you are gone!

“Highly recommend Shera for any dog watching/walking/housesitting needs! She was very communicative and provided us with plenty of pictures of our happy dog with her.”

About: I’ve had dogs since I was younger. I grew up around all types of dogs my mom is a retired groomer so I loved working with her! I had Rottweilers while growing up and a little terrier mix he is 12 now lol. I personally have worked at an animal hospital for over a year now as a veterinary technician. I am familiar with different behaviors, medicating, and more. I currently work 4 days a week and one weekend of the month. I have been looking for a side job where I can make my own schedule. I love working with animals and seeing all the different breeds. I am familiar with emergency situations and what to do if it ever came down to that. I am very cautious with treats, toys, gates being locked, doors being shut and crate training. If your baby is not crate trained and free roams all items will be out of reach that could be potentially harmful.

Alyssa M.
“Alyssa lives in my apartment complex and I met her through Ada, the dog she is fostering. Ada was on her leash, about 15 feet away, begging for my attention so I asked if I could pet her. Alyssa said yes and explained that Ada is hyper-reactive, but I still thought she was an adorable dog. After talking with Alyssa over the last few months and having Ada stay at my apartment a few times, I could see how well Alyssa cared for her and trained her. Ada behaves so much better on the leash now, you almost wouldn't even notice her walking by you on the sidewalk. Alyssa even wrote detailed instructions on shampooing Ada's feet hahaha”
