About: I currently work at a Vet Clinic, I have had animal shelter experience since I was little because of my mom, she was an Owner/Manager for Second Chance Pet Rescue in Grove Oklahoma. 💞 For jobs I have had a year of vet care experience, working in Animal Shelters, and I always make tons of trips to go down to Grove Oklahoma to donate and volunteer. 🐾 My life runs off of being surrounded by animals. ✨ When I watch your fur-baby(s) I make sure I send daily photos and information so everything runs smoothly. 🎉 I’m currently trying to start doing Rover for Full time, 🐾pets have a special place in my heart and my heart always comes back to spending time with them. 💓 In my free time I’m watching clients dogs or I am at home with my own 3 dogs, walking, playing, training the new puppy or cleaning. I have over 10 years of hands-on experience working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments, including reactive, anxious, and high-energy dogs. With my background in dog training, I’m very aware of body language, behavior, and how to handle dogs safely in different situations. “I would highly recommend using Katie as your pet sitter. She took VERY good care of my 2 cats while I was gone for a whole week. Katie is very thorough. When I first met Katie She made a list of all the things everyday that needed to be done while I was gone. Katie visited my home twice a day and always gave me the details of what was done while she was there. She took pics and sent them to me every day and kept me very updated on everything that was going on. She sat with them for 30 minutes on each visit twice a day. She brought in the mail, opened and closed blinds, turned lights on and off. She changed a burnt out light bulb on the outside of the house for me. I'm very please with how well She took care of my fur babies. I would DEFINITELY use Katie's pet sitting service again in the future. She is very dependable, thorough, trustworthy, and She has a very nice personality. I HIGHLY recommend Katie.”

About: I became a foster parent for GPSCA at the end of 2020 after adopting my bubbi with them during the summer. I took care of a mom and 3 puppies as my first assignment, all were adopted! <3 A few months after that, I fostered an older dog who had recently had surgery, who also got adopted after a couple of months with me. I love playing with dogs and getting to know all of their different personalities. My bubbi is an old man who loves to just snuggle and play catch with you. He's all about those TREATS too. Recently promoted to a hybrid job, 3 days in person, Mon-Weds. Unlike before where I was WFH. This would take me away for about 8-9 hours on those days. I know it can be scary for a pet to meet someone new. I like to make any dog I'm pet-sitting feel comfortable in its own environment. Whether that means I just sit there until they are comfy with me or abiding my their normal routine, I don't want them to feel out of place.

About: I have had a dog around ever since I was born. I have always taken care of large dogs, but also have taken care of my neighbor and friends small dogs many times. I am a college student who is looking for all of the work I can get! I currently work part time and have always had a dog throughout my entire life. I love getting to take care and play with dogs. I will follow your pets usual routine as closely as possible along with any special medications or special care that they may need. About: I work at an elementary school as a special education teacher7am-3 so I can watch your furry animal after 3:30 pm have been taking care of animals since I was little , I have lived on a farm for 15 years before I moved to the city I have taken care of new born puppies and kittens with bottle feeding and special needs dogs , i have had English bulldogs since I was little ..I have taken care of dogs all of size from a tea cup chihuahua to an Irish wolfhound…I can’t wait to meet your furry animals I work at an elementary school as a special education teacher so I can watch your pets after 3:30 and I can work Sundays but not Monday or Friday So I do not offer in home care as my older English bulldog does not get along with male dogs or cats but if there is an emergency I can bring the animal over here but not for overnight 😊

About: I’m all about keeping dogs happy, engaged, and well cared for not just watched. I love mixing in physical activity and mental enrichment like walks, play, training basics, and enrichment games so they’re fulfilled while you’re away. I’ve worked with puppies, senior dogs, and shelter dogs, so I’m comfortable with all kinds of personalities. Anything from shy and anxious to high energy and playful. I’m patient, observant, and always adjust to what each dog needs. I also have hands on experience with basic grooming like bathing, and I’m continuing to build those skills with my own dog. Every dog I care for gets treated like my own, with a focus on safety, comfort, and making sure they feel genuinely happy and understood. I have my own dog, so pet care is already a big and consistent part of my daily life. My evenings especially revolve around him with walks, play, enrichment, and just making sure he’s happy and cared for in the way I describe in my profile. I also work a full time 8am–4pm job, but I prioritize pet care outside of those hours and make sure I have the time and energy to fully focus on the pets I’m caring for. I’ve primarily only house sat for family and friends, and I always follow the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible to keep things low stress and familiar for them. I focus on maintaining consistency with feeding, walks, and daily habits so pets feel secure in their environment. Any adjustments I make are minimal and situational for example, changing walk timing or length depending on weather or the pet’s comfort. My goal is always to keep pets relaxed, comfortable, and in their normal rhythm while their owners are away.

She was so accommodating and flexible with the meet and greet and spent a lot of time getting to know our dogs, particularly our newest little rescue that's working through some fear issues, prior to coming for a home visit. It's obvious that she places a lot of importance on making sure the dogs felt comfortable with her prior to taking care of them and she went out of her way to help Lyla continue making progress in feeling safe. She handled my big, exuberant boys with ease and genuine affection while also being gentle and quiet with Lyla. During our meet and greet, she was more than happy to learn about the quirks of each dog and when asked, provided genuine and thoughtful suggestions about fearful rescues, including specific things she would do during her home visit. She was prompt on her timing and provided updates and pictures of her time with the dogs, accommodating a last-minute request for a medication administration. She's a joy to work with, communicates very well and promptly and all of my dogs love her. I'm so lucky to have found her and look forward to having her back.”

About: I have worked with dogs and cats my whole life and love every minute of it! Aside from pet sitting for various friends and neighbors, I have worked at the vet for 3 years and have experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. I am also comfortable giving any prescribed medications, insulin injections, or supplements they might require. I have moved to Kansas city temporarily and am giving veterinary clinic work a break for a bit so I have open availability during the week! Between volunteering at shelters and working at the vet I have been well trained in pet safety and precautions to take to ensure that no pet gets loose or harmed. While walking your fur baby they will always be on a double leash with me to ensure their safety in any event and precautions will be taken during any interaction with other dogs (if that is something you would like to allow).

About: I grew up on a farm with, cats, dogs, chickens, goats, ducks, geese. rabbits, horses, cattle, and a variety of household pets. I was a veterinary technician for 20 years. Being in the veterinary field, I saw many household pets suffer separation anxiety being left at the clinic to board and also saw pets get sick after boarding due to being out of their home environment, which is how TLC Equine & Pet Care got started. I am currently 100% self-employed and can fit any schedule to work with the needs of your pet's health and safety. I also provide mail and package pickup, set trash out to the curb, water plants. Make your home look lived in while you are away. I do care for dogs in my home, it is a very relaxed environment. I live in the country and do not have a fenced in yard. They are walked on leashes and completely safe. Playpens also provided upon request for playtime outside.
