“Amanda was very gracious towards our very naughty puppy. Apparently, some of the nervous behaviors that we don’t see at home came out with an unholy flourish at Amanda‘s home. But I appreciate the fact that Amanda gave us a full and honest report (which is helpful for us to gauge the areas he still needs significant training) and was very kind about the negatives. The most important thing, though, was that he settled down in the car almost immediately. Our dog is a very nervous dog, so if he has had a rough time at a dog sitter, we know right away because he whines and whimpers all the way home. After leaving Amanda‘s house, he winded for about 60 seconds and then went to sleep. Hallelujah! Thank you, Amanda, for the top quality care you have given to our very low quality puppy. I am especially grateful that Amanda was willing to take the puppy at the last minute, because my husband had a hospital procedure and I had completely forgotten about making arrangements for the dog. If you have a high energy dog Katelyn’s place is perfect. I have never seen my blue heeler as exhausted as he was after his stay there. I assume he was playing with Katelyn’s other dogs and just having the space to be free. He was a very happy puppy and slept very soundly for the rest of the evening. Katelyn was an amazing sitter and super responsive and easy to work with. If I lived in the area I would have him stay more often!
