“Joe was amazing! My dog, Chocolate Chip, loved him and his sweet dog Henry. Joe gave me so many great tips as a first-time dog owner and was incredibly accommodating with my work schedule. I felt completely at ease knowing Chip was in such good hands. We will definitely be booking with Joe again soon!”

“Can't say enough about how grateful I am for Amy. My guy clearly enjoys his time with her based on the pictures she sends - I can tell he is happy and feels safe. I would definitely recommend Amy - 5 stars all the way!”

“We were able to book Alyson 3-4 hours before our drop off time and we are so grateful she was able to accommodate our last minute request so we could have a little date night and not worry about our babe being anxious and alone at home for 5 hours. Alyson was friendly and seemed to be really comfortable with having dogs in her home. Percy made himself comfortable almost immediately (lol) and we could tell he had a great time at Alyson’s at pick up time. We cannot wait to use her services again.”

About: We're Anna and David, and we live in Minneapolis with our young kid. We would love to watch your dog while you're away! We have a private backyard in a dog-friendly neighborhood – lots of sidewalks, parks, and lakes around. We both enjoy walking, being outside, and doggy snuggles. David grew up with a dog, and Anna grew up with ferrets and has ferret, cat, and dog sat since she was a teenager. We have experience administering medicine to dogs. Our kid is used to being around dogs. We ask that your dog also have experience around kids and be good with them if you consider a stay in our home. As a couple, we had a rescue dog the entirety of our decade-plus long relationship until recently. After the death of our beloved dog, we are not yet ready for a new dog but are missing them in our lives. We look forward to hosting your pup! We both work from home and have flexible schedules. We enjoy the companionship of having a dog around and take regular walks throughout the day. We have a small dog bed and treats. We have space for a crate if necessary. Regular outside time is important for us, and we would include your pup when we are outside whenever possible. Our backyard is partially fenced. If needed, we have a yard stake and leash. We spend a lot of time in our backyard in warmer months, for work, meals, and gatherings and would only keep dogs in the yard if we are out there.

“Emilie was so good to my dog, Walter. I felt really comfortable leaving her with him for the whole day. She sent tons of pictures of him while I was at work and said he played all day -- which was perfect! I'm definitely going to be rebooking in the future. :-) Walter was pooped once we got home.”

“Best sitters ever! Couldn’t recommend Karen and Ryan enough. Lambo absolutely LOVES when he goes over to their house and gets the wiggles every time he see them. Just proves how much they care for your dog like their own. They’re very flexible with my schedule and I can’t appreciate that enough.”

“Jacquie & Kyle are incredible! They asked all the right questions and did a meet & greet to ensure Dax was a good fit for their care. It is apparent they have experience with dogs & they took great care of Dax, sending pictures with updates. She came home happy and tired after a day of fun with their family. Thank you!”

“Absolutely incredible experience. Celia was easy to communicate with and sent me pics of my pup throughout the day. I would love to book again - highly recommmend”

About: Pets are like family to me. I will make sure that your pet is safe, loved, and has fun while you are away. They may even learn a new trick or two! I love cats and will provide a discounted rate for anyone who needs to board their cat with me! I currently work from home so I can spend all day with your fur baby. Since I do work from home, I can give your pet lots of walks and play time but they must be able to handle being alone when I am in a meeting. I can accept boardings for cats and dogs between 9am and 6pm. Same day bookings are only available for previous clients. I have a dog park within 3 minutes of my home. Your dog will enjoy playing there everyday. I also have a cat that loves other animals! I have lots of entertainment for a cat as well so they won’t be bored!

About: I grew up with dogs, have always loved dogs, have taken care of countless dogs over the years, and I have my own as well. I have what I would consider to be a healthy mix of excellent boundaries (no begging for human food, etc) with dubious boundaries (my dog gets to sleep under the covers). I work from home with my dog and I typically let him out in our fenced backyard upwards of four times per day, with extended yard time during lunch. We live in a single-family home with no kids and a fully-fenced backyard. Dogs in my care can expect to be safely let out into the fenced yard several times per day.

“I cannot thank Haley enough for her amazing service! She looked after our dog at short notice for the day when I was in town, and she did a beautiful job! Super communicative, friendly and she took great care of him. Five stars!”

“Greyson is a gem and takes incredible care of Lulu! His love for dogs is clearly evident and his patience with and affection for Lulu is so appreciated. He’s also communicative and flexible and I’m very grateful to have found him on Rover.”

“These two were great! Kira met me downstairs and showed me up to her apartment to make sure I felt good about leaving Jackson there. She sent me photos throughout the visit which was great and Jackson came back to me a happy boy! Thank you guys!”

“Krista and Alex took great care of lily. It was a challenge because my pup is afraid of storms. But they did a great job. Booking was last minute and I appreciated their help.”

“Anastasia was wonderful with my girl! Gerti was excited to go there and was sad to leave! Weather was really cold but she managed to take her out for a few short walks each day. I would definitely recommend!!”

“Savannah has been watching Brisket at least a couple days a week for the last 3+ months now and continues to be the absolute best sitter. Brisket absolutely loves staying with Savannah and her pup Solo during the day and always comes home happy and tired. We are so thankful that we found Savannah.”

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments for 10+ years. My experience includes daily walks, administering medications, feeding routines, basic grooming, and offering plenty of playtime and companionship. I always treat each dog as if they were my own, taking time to learn their unique personalities and needs. What sets me apart from other sitters is my attention to detail, patience, and genuine love for dogs. I have hands on experience with puppy training, including crate training, leash manners, and basic commands. As well as caring for senior pets who may need a slower pace, medication, or special attention to mobility and comfort. I’m also comfortable with nervous or shy pets and take pride in helping them feel safe and at ease. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or calm and cuddly, I tailor my care to match their personality and needs. I work from home on Mondays and Fridays, so I’m available to be with your pet all day on those days for company, walks, and care. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, I’m available after 4:30 PM, perfect for evening drop-ins, walks, or sitting. Weekends? I’m always available all day! Whether it’s a quick visit or a full day of care, I’ve got you covered. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, my top priority is making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I stick closely to your pet’s usual routine—including feeding times, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and bedtime—to ensure a smooth and stress-free experience. In your home, I’m respectful of your space and your pet’s territory. I’ll follow all instructions carefully, keep things clean and tidy, and provide regular updates with photos so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands. If caring for pets in my home, I provide a calm, pet-friendly environment with plenty of affection, enrichment, and supervised play. I make sure pets have their own space to relax, and I keep them on their regular routine as much as possible. I work from home part of the week, so your pet will enjoy lots of companionship and attention. Whether it’s administering medication, dealing with separation anxiety, or just giving belly rubs and walks, I tailor my care to your pet’s individual needs and personality.

“We have known Anna and David for years, and now their wonderful son Isaac. This family recently lost their family pet of 16 years, Rufus. Anna and David helped us with our terrier Fritzie when we needed care for her. They are such a fun, loving and generous family. Because of their welcoming and open hearts, calm demeanor and flexibility, I think they would be a great match for Rover. Any dog that stays with them will get the attention, stimulation, and love our pets need when away from their owners. We highly recommend them.”
