“We were at first nervous due to the overwhelming number of positive reviews Steve has accumulated on Rover. Looked suspicious but no worries, our experience boarding our Lulu with Steve was wonderful! We met with Steve before boarding and he explained how he cared for the dogs in his care, the feeding, sleeping and outdoors time. She was kept with other dogs her size so had lots of doggie friends to play with. We especially like the pup photos he sends us twice a day while we’re away. We know our little fur baby is in good hands with Steve so we’ve already booked her next stay with him. Can’t recommend him highly enough!”

“Denise was great! We got lots of updates so I always felt like I knew how he was doing. She also didn't mind that I looked around and checked the fence before leaving since my dog can be a little escape artist! Will definitely book again!”

“We will happily bring our dogs to Debra again. It’s always a little scary leaving our dogs with someone else, but Debra put our minds at ease right away. She sent daily updates including pictures and/or videos. It was a bonus that she genuinely seemed to love our dogs. Plus, her dogs seemed to get along well with ours. She was flexible when I had to update care instructions for one dog due to a medical issue. Debra went above and beyond for our babies. We are very, very grateful.”

She kept us informed of how our pet was doing throughout her stay, and even sent us pictures that allowed for us to have peace of mind during our getaway. At pick up time, she had Zoey’s things ready and even had a checklist to make sure we left with everything we had dropped off. We appreciated every moment of our experience doing business with Carmin, from the initial contact, to the meet and greet time, and to the first visit to her home. “I left my 6-yr old dog--Cinder for a few days with Rita while I went out of town and I had full confidence that Cinder was well taken care of. Rita sent me updates everyday with photos, video and texts that would make me smile and put my worries to rest. I dote on Cinder at home :D and she initially seemed to have some anxiety staying away from me but Rita's perseverance, kindness and patience made Cinder more and more comfortable. Rita fully caters to the pet parents' needs and understands animals so well and I was so thankful to have found her. I would highly recommend Rita to anyone looking to board their pet with her. “Gypsy and Keith were great with my puppy Roscoe! This was my first time using Dog Vacay and it was their first time hosting. I think we made a perfect match! They played and cuddled with my dog the entire time he was in their care. They have a beautiful home and even taught him how to use their doggy door. “Lisa took care of our pups for 10 days while we were on vacation. Our 13 year old had never been boarded before and so I wanted to find a home that she would feel comfortable in. I had visited a commercial boarding shelter in town and it felt like a pound to me and I knew they would both hate it! Lisa sent us updates and pictures every single day while they were there and though it wasn’t exactly home for them, it was the closest thing to home we could have asked for. They both had a great time, Plus the price was so much more reasonable than what the boarding facility was going to be. I will definitely be using Lisa again for boarding and some play dates for our 2 year old pup.”
