Happiest Place on Earth! (for Dogs)Orlando, FL

Greetings and welcome to our page. My name is James, but you can call me Jim. My better half is my beautiful wife, Linda. Together we run, “The Happiest Place on Earth! (for Dogs).” First, we would like to thank you for taking the time out to review our profile. Since 2013, our devoted clients have trusted us to care for their furry companion(s). Thanks to their trust and devotion, they have helped us reach over 500, five-star reviews, and a total of over 1,100 confirmed stays. We know there are many pet sitters out there and finding the right one can be an overwhelming experience. We will do our best to make it more comfortable for you.

__Our Goal__

We strive to make our home a happy, fun, stress-free, and always a safe environment for them all. If you have never left your dog with a sitter, don't fret. All guests adjust well when they are in our home. They have so much fun. They get to make new friends. They play so much that they quickly forget their owners had even left. We aim to make our home a vacation getaway for your furry friend. We make every attempt to accommodate your dog's needs within our guidelines. We offer socialization for dogs that tend to be shy/nervous or not used to being around other dogs. Over the many years involved with animals, we have developed the proper skills needed to socialize dogs. If your pup loves to play, we can accommodate that with our large backyard. If your dog is older and likes a more peaceful, quiet environment, we can adjust to that as well. We don't have any breed or size restrictions. However, we do require that your pup can be social with other dogs. Above all, your pup's health and safety in our home will always be of the utmost importance to us. In a rare event during playtime with other dogs, there are instances where a minor injury may occur; such as scrapes or bumps. If your pup becomes sick or injured, we will take the proper steps immediately to ensure their safety.

__About Our Home__

We live close to the Orlando International Airport, about a 15-minute drive. Our home is approximately 2000 square feet. That means your pup has 2000 square feet for them to explore. We do not ever crate any of our guests. However, we will accommodate the owners request to do so due to puppy training or medical needs. We have a large backyard intended with dogs in mind. The backyard offers, plastic doggie pool, fire hydrant, dragon tire obstacle, two play tunnels, and shaded areas. A new escape-proof vinyl/ wood 6-foot fence, meaning any dog that tries to dig underneath will hit a barrier. All of our floors are doggie proof, travertine tiles in the kitchen and dining room. The rest of the house has stained concrete. The concrete floors are great in case your pup has an accident, no worries it can easily be cleaned. Our guests are welcome to pick any spot in our home to sleep. There are even a few spots in our room if they need to sleep close to us.

__About Us__

I left my job about three years ago to dedicate myself full time to caring for your pet. I now have the best job in the world where I get to play with, cuddle and care for dogs every day. We were involved with dog rescues for over ten years before we started Rover and have extensive experience with many breeds and personalities. We genuinely love animals and enjoy having them around.

I previously worked for Orange County Animal Services and Running Bird Ranch. At the ranch, I cared for several different animals, including parrots, deer, emu, and other farm animals. My wife Linda works nights, and I am home 24-7. So, your babies will rarely be left alone. That works out great for all dogs since someone is always at home to tend to their needs. We have no children at this time. We recently adopted a sweet handsome dog that we named Princeton. We had known him for a few years and when the opportunity was presented for us to adopt him we could not pass it up. He is gets along great will all dogs big and small. He was originally rescued from Orange County so we believe him to be out 7 years of age. He is very easy going and loves to cuddle with humans and other pups. We also have a Macaw parrot named Boka. He has been around dogs since he was born and is friendly towards dogs with no fear of them. In addition we have a pet turtle and several colorful fish. Previously we owned three beautiful Chinese Shar-Peis named Kobo, Kada and Harley. They passed away a few years ago, we miss them every day.

If you like what you have read so far… Please take a few more minutes to get more detailed information about what to expect and what is required.

__Arrive On Time__

That is of extreme importance because the dogs are free to roam around the house, it is imperative that you must arrive on time. If you are running late, please keep us updated, so we have time to put the other dog guest away before your arrival. We like to have a smooth pick up or drop off so its highly crucial that if your arrival time changes, you let us know. We always ask for all our clients to send us a message about 15 minutes before you arrive. Thank you for your cooperation.

__A Typical Day__

My day consists of feeding the pups two times a day. Making sure they have plenty of water in and out of the house. Picking up lots of poop. LOL! Not the most glamorous part of my day. Lots of playtime in the backyard for those that enjoy running, chasing, and playing. I let them outside several times a day. When they come in, they will either follow me around the house or just lay down on the cool floors to relax or nap. We feel no need to take dogs for walks since they have plenty of opportunity throughout the day to do their "business" in the backyard. We strongly believe that being in our backyard is a safer/more controlled environment. Throughout the day we take several pictures so you can see how your pup is doing. We typically try to send clients regular updates with photos in the early/late evening.

__What is Required__

Flea & Tick: All dogs must be on flea and tick prevention. Despite our best efforts to treat our yard and having our lawn cut every week, it still is not enough. Please make sure you treat your pet now and continue monthly applications throughout the rest of the year. We have the right to refuse any dog that has a flea/tick infestation.

Vaccinations: For the safety of your dog, it is vital that he/she be current on all vaccines. Having your pet vaccinated is the best and least costly way of preventing disease. Without proper vaccination, he/she will be left unprotected. We can not be held responsible. To submit the latest vaccination records, please take a picture of the paperwork. Tap the photo icon, choose your picture, make sure you slide to the off position "Make Photos Public," that way I can only see the information.

Dog Profile: Make sure to fill out your dog's "Profile" on Rover so that we can have a better understanding of him/her. Give detailed feeding instructions. Provide emergency contacts and vet information, especially if you will not have phone service while on vacation.

What to bring: Dog's regular food, please do not switch his/her food a few days before coming to our home because in some dogs, changing the food abruptly can cause diarrhea. Food bowl. We have extras but prefer you to bring his/her regular food bowl. Dog collar with name & rabies tags is required. Beds are only recommended if you have a senior dog with medical needs. Beds tend to get dirty. If you need to bring a bed please provide an old sheet to protect it. Treats, we recommend that you do not bring treats.

Medications: We do not charge for oral medications or injections. Please provide detailed instructions.

__Things to Keep in Mind__

Meet & Greet: We always offer a free Meet & Greet to new potential clients. It gives everyone a chance to get to know each other and to see where your pup will be staying. It allows me to connect with your dog and make sure he/she has a successful stay with us. For those visiting out of town, we can communicate by phone and determine if this is the right place for your pup. Also, there are times when you have an emergency and are unable to do a meet and greet. We will try to do our best to accommodate if this happens.

Bathing: If your dog is active and likes to have fun by rolling around in the dirt and grass, please be warned that he/she will get dirty. We usually have quite a few pet guests here and we want to focus our attention on the care and safety of them. We want the experience for the pet(s) to be as close to home as possible without having to hire help and getting into a more commercial type boarding service. For this reason, we do not offer bathing or grooming services. Your pet will most likely need a bath after their stay. That will be the pet owners responsibility to handle. On occasion, I might give a dog a bath, but that is on an individual basis.

Picky Eaters: Sometimes on a rare occasion there will be a dog who will not eat on the first day or so. We always take some extra time with the dog if this should happen. We try sitting in a quiet area, and/or give 15-20 minutes extra time. We even try to feed out of our hand LOL! This one usually works. If all else fails, we would always contact the pet owner to discuss other options. This normally only happens with super high energy dogs, who's only care is to run and play. After the excitement wears off they are ready to EAT!! At feeding time, all dogs are separated in rooms/areas throughout the house. We feed two times a day-morning & evening.

Spay/Neutered: It is highly recommended that all dogs be spayed and neutered due to the nature of care we provide. We can not accept females during their heat cycle. Males that are intact and mark everywhere in my home or show possessive tendencies towards a particular dog will not be allowed back. Just to clarify-some male dogs may start sniffing around and might pee the first time they enter my home. In most cases it only happens once and it is not a problem through the rest of the stay. Some females can also pee mostly from excitement this is also understandable. Most dogs that are neutered at a young age will rarely exhibit any marking or humping behavior. Pups do have accidents and that is not a problem. I always have bleach and water handy to clean up in such instances.

Senior Dogs/Puppies: We are happy to provide care for injured dogs or those with special medical or health needs. We accept puppies that are up to date with their vaccines. Puppies that are still in house training or have an occasional accident are not a problem.

YOU MUST READ THIS PROFILE COMPLETELY BEFORE CONTACTING ME!!!

What to look for in a new sitter. (1) Find someone that sends pictures to you multiple times a day, and to 100% of the clients, like I do. (2) Find someone with decades of dog experience and dog training experience, like my 45 years of working with dogs. (3) Find someone that is retired and home all day, like I am. (4) Find someone that has a fully fenced secure backyard with dense grass, not dirt, like my yard, that has a nice 6 foot vinyl fence and thick zoysia grass . (5) Find someone that does not have small children that could hurt the dog or let them escape, like my house that has no children. (6) Find someone in a real home not an apartment that may not even be on the ground floor, my home is spacious and has a doggy door for your dog. (7) Find someone that will provide the bowls, crates, beds, and toys, so all you need to bring is the dog and their food, like at my house. (8) Find someone that will not mix your small dog with large or giant size dogs, I take small and medium size only, for your dogs safety. (9) Find someone that understands the importance to properly introduce the dogs to each other, and the training to do so, before allowing play together, like I do. (10) Find someone that has an average response time of under 1 minute to answer your texts or questions, and has a 100% response rate, like my response time, and rate. (11) Find someone that limits the number of dogs taken in, to be sure that all dogs taken in are properly taken care of, like I do. (12) Find someone that will place all your things together and take inventory of whatever you may have brought to be sure, you go back home with everything you came with. (13) Find someone that does not have a pool if your dog is not used to being around one and your concerned about falling in, my yard is only grass, no dangerous pool. (14) Find someone that does not do house visits or dog walking, they can't be watching your dog if they are at someone else's house, I only do dog care in my home. (15) Find someone that has no cats or large dogs if your dog is not used to that, I only have two small well trained dogs that get along with all the guests. (16) Find someone that sends pictures several times each day, like I do. Note: If you found all these things in one place congratulations, you just found me. I know of no other place that can make all these claims, and still be very reasonably priced. Please read my 300+ rave reviews, and check out my pictures.

I have to add this notice so new customers understand something. I am alerted to, and respond to, and answer all questions and requests in about a minute 24/7. When you have a question I answer it quickly. So please if it is not an emergency hold off on your questions after 9:00 pm and before 7:00 am, I need my beauty rest. I am up early each day, (by 7:00 am) to take care of your questions and requests. Drop off and pick up hours are 7:00 am to 8 pm for drop off, and to 9 pm for pickup.

I keep my dogs free of fleas and ticks with monthly flea prevention. I expect dogs coming here are clean and free of fleas. When you bring a dog with fleas it could infect my entire house and I have to flea bathe your dog and spray my entire house to be sure other clients don't get fleas. This is time consuming and expensive, so be sure your dogs don't bring fleas here. I also expect your dog to be clean, odor free and free of ticks, accepting a stay here means you accept the fact that you will be billed for a bath that is needed, if they arrive here in need of one. You dog will be on my furniture and living in my house and I will not have dirty smelly dogs doing that.

I accept meet and greet requests but do not require them. Your itinerary will show my address and contact information after we have set up a stay or meet and greet. Please specify date and time you request so I can approve it. That's the best way to meet me and check out my place, as the site will send us both each other's information by viewing the itinerary. You will receive my address and phone number that way, and I will be given your phone number. You can see my location by looking for "Bruce's Neighborhood" on my profile page.

When making any request for either Daycare or Boarding include in the comments, what your needed drop off, and pick up times will be. I need to be prepared for your arrival and need it for calendar scheduling, and proper price quoting. If your stay is more than, even 24 hour days, like an early drop off one day and a late pick-up the next day, let me know what you need and request an adjusted price. My boarding rates are based on a 24 hour day not 36 hours. I will be happy to watch your dog for 36 hours or whatever you need but you will receive an additional charge for the additional time.

I tried watching puppies but have come to realize that because they demand so much attention, that it takes away from the time I need to spend with the other guests, therefore in fairness to all the dogs that I board, I have sadly have come to the decision that it is not fair to my other guests, to spend all my time with one puppy, and therefore must decline accepting any more puppies. I need to spend time with all guests not just one demanding puppy.

Compare what I offer to the others. Retired and home full time, not gone to work like most people. Huge backyard with a safe and secure vinyl privacy fence, (check out the pictures). A large home not an apartment. Forty five plus years working with and training dogs. Who else offers all this, and I am still very competitively priced. Dogs are normally allowed to run free in the house and share the furniture with me, but are crated at night when I sleep and unable to watch them, to prevent any problems and to keep them safe. They are let out early each morning and allowed to roam the house and use the doggy door again.

I have been working with dogs for over 45 years and presently do volunteer training at a local dog rescue. I am very familiar of how to care for your dog, and know your dog will be happy in my home and large fenced back yard. I have two small friendly dogs for them to play with, if they like that. I am retired and home almost always, my wife may watch the dogs if I have to step out for a short time. To make sure you dog is safe while under my care, they will be provided a clean bed and crate for night time when everyone should be asleep, just to be sure there is nothing happening that would be unsafe for them. I don't know any better way to insure their safety if I am asleep and not able to be watching them, be suspicious of anyone that claims to never crate your dog. When I wake up early, they are free to go outside or enjoy the house and furniture.

You can leave your dogs here with complete confidence that a very experienced handler, and dog lover will be looking after them. Drop off and Pick up times flexible. If you're looking for the best place for your dog, and the best deal going, you just found it.

Keep in mind a day is 24 hours. An early drop off on one day, and late pickup the following day is not a day and will have an upcharge. For that reason and for scheduling, please state your drop off and pick up times when requesting your boarding days. At the same time, a drop off and pick up that spans 2 days but is only 24 hours is only charged as one day, not two, like at some boarding places.

One final note: I do not accept recurring bookings. I will refuse any such requests. Each booking must have a starting and ending date and time. I will allow you to make multiple bookings even months in advance to accomplish the same thing, but I need to be sure I am available for each booking, before I can accept it. A single booking can be multiple days or even weeks long, but it has to have a starting and ending date and time. I just can't promise availability on a forever basis.

I'm home 24/7 - Small dogs onlyMaitland, FL

💕💕3/30/2020- I am taking bookings through this COVID-19 quarantine! If we have never met and you need an immediate booking for your SMALL dog, I am happy to forego the Meet & Greet. I so rarely leave the house that exposure to myself is improbable. As luck would have it, my husband broke his leg just before the crisis and has been recovering at home. So while inconvenient, he’s been self quarantined by “accident”.😉 Send me a message if you need daycare or boarding for your small dog. Stay safe!

** To see current & past stays, please check out my Facebook page, Denise's Dogcation

I post videos several times each day for parents to watch at their convenience

** I only take SMALL dogs. If you are like me and don't feel comfortable with your little Prince or Princess being around bigger dogs (no matter how nice) PLEASE double check the sitter profiles for their accepted weight ranges AND pets in their home

** I have SEVERAL older clients. Many on medication 1, 2 or 3 X/day. Some blind and/or deaf. They have all been repeat clients and feel very comfortable here. I get to know them and their own special needs as well as their signals letting me know what they want.

** I have had many unsocialized guests. Ones that had NEVER been around other dogs. Their parents were worried how they would do. They ALL did quite well becoming social. Most have repeated. One was able to get a SISTER and they both come here now!

** 08/16/17 I had white vinyl fence installed! I updated my photos.

** Both Faline and Buttercup have had their Canine Influenza shots.

I am a married, 52 year old woman who has had at least one dog all of my adult life. For several years I had FIVE! (3 Chow Chows, my first Chihuahua and a Pomeranian. They have all since crossed the Rainbow Bridge.)

I am very experienced with giving oral medications at specific times per day as well as ear & eye drops. I also have experience with blind/sight impaired and deaf/hearing impaired dogs. They have all gotten along just fine in my home. Faline's previous sister, Flower, was a rescue who had been abused. She was blind and suffered seizures. Faline was her seeing eye dog and comforted her through seizures as well. Flower crossed the Rainbow Bridge, Good Friday 2016. Faline is quite the employee here and Ambassador for the guests. We brought 5 month old Faline home 3/15/14.

From 2011 to June 2016 I worked from home. Since then I had been a housewife. We have carry bags and strollers so Faline had never been without Mom and/or Dad. I enjoyed being a housewife for several months but wanted to find a "job" that I love. After my husband, I couldn't think of anything I love more than my Faline! I knew others feel the same so I wanted to provide a safe, fun and comfortable place for parents to drop off their babies. Once or twice, a couple of days a week, every work day or when you take a long weekend or vacation? I'll treat yours like they're mine. Then in May, we really did bond with a guest as if she were our own. So much so that we let her parents know, IF there should ever come a time when they needed to find her a new home, PLEASE think of us. They had actually been wrestling with that VERY thought. A month later they asked if we would still add Buttercup to our family and we readily accepted. Now Faline has a sister once more. <3

While I do NOT have any breed restrictions, as I prefer not to judge all dogs by the actions of others, ALL guests MUST be UNDER 20 lbs and get along with other dogs.

I also do require your dog(s) be done with teething. (Typically by 8 months old) Those little, needle like, baby teeth are too much for other fur babies to handle. Being potty trained is important but accidents happen and that's OK. I have a dog door and tile flooring. Accidents are what "Nature's Miracle" and paper towels are for.

The main picture is the interior of our living room, taken from the "hall". The front door is open, showing our storm door complete with dog door. The next interior pic is from the opposite side, near the front door. The short hallway has the 2 bedroom doors. These doors would be closed during the day for everyone's and everything's safety. The 3rd & 4th interior pics are the kitchen. It can easily be blocked with our baby gate, should anyone have a need for solitude, peace, quiet, rest or recuperation.

The next pic shows my front door with dog door.

I have 2 fenced in areas. The one the dogs use has artificial turf and leaf covered soil, seen in the next pictures. 3 sides are 6 ft, white, vinyl fencing, the 4th side is the side of the house. The dog door goes out to this area. The gate stays locked and I added to the bottom to keep the littlest guests from getting stuck. The second area is zero-scaped with small rocks, part 6 ft wood fence, part vinyl and part 3 ft wood picket fence. It is not pictured and would NOT be used by the dogs. I mention it for information and to say there is quite a bit of space and barrier between our babies and other people or the street. ie, children walking to or from school would never even know there are dogs in my yard.

I added a picture of Faline napping after her grooming appointment, hence the bow. SO cute! I picked up a LOT of dog toys for the pictures but there is NO shortage of toys to play with. My husband (We met in 1980) works full time, Monday-Friday. For any Dog Parents who do the same and need a day care sitter, I will be the only one at my home. Anyone needing a sitter or boarding overnight or on the weekends can expect him to be home. He is a lifelong dog lover as well! His family had a Mini American Eskimo, Miniature Schnauzers and Dachshunds. But a LH Chihuahua (Faline) and a Shih/Yorkie mix (Buttercup) own him now! As other sections state, I do have a good size, fenced in, side yard. About 3/4 is artificial turf with the rest being leaf covered soil. Our front storm door has a dog door. Fencing with a locked gate leads dogs (and people) out to the side yard. Dogs typically have access to the dog door all day, weather permitting. Also stated in another section, we only take dogs that have been spayed or neutered. They must also be current on all shots/vaccinations/necessary licenses, flea & tick free. (So you know that any other dogs your pup is around are also ALL of these things) PLEASE complete your pet(s) profile with their care instructions, veterinary’s information and Emergency Contact information. Knowing your sitter has this info can put your mind at ease while you’re away.

You need only bring their food, favorite treats (If you like) and medications (If any) for the stay.

Also, check your calendar to make sure if there is any monthly or quarterly Heart Worm or flea medication that could be due during their stay.

(Do NOT bring any beds, blankets, bowls or toys. I have MORE than enough here and would hate for anything of yours to be damaged or lost.)

PLEASE TEXT/MESSAGE ONLY. (No phone calls please unless it’s an emergency)

I have my cell phone with me all the time so I can be reached or can respond quickly. I am home and available to watch your fur baby just about 24/7 as I am a happy housewife. If I ever have plans come up I would mark the calendar that I am unavailable, ahead of time.

Elly's Dog Boarding, Home 24/7!Orlando, FL

*** our multi-dog discount is as follows:. Full price per night for dog 1, 5$ off per night for dog 2, 10$ off per night for dog 3 etc! ***

We would love to watch your dog(s)!

We are a married couple with a house that's built for dogs. We have both always had and loved pets, and have had our three (medium to large) babies for 9 years! Our daughter Cheyenne loves dogs as well, and loves playing, cuddling, and sleeping with them. Our house has been recently remodeled with dogs in mind. We have a large artificial turf area in the backyard, the dogs love it!! We also have a full outdoor fenced in dog run (potty area) The dog run is inescapable, and dig/climb proof as well (we've had many dogs try!) The dog run is accessible by a very large dog door, which is connected to a gated off interior room just for the dogs, which is completely dog proofed. (no crates required, but we do have one large crate if needed). We also have a very large dog bath located in the back yard which can accommodate any size dog. We also have a small pool as well. Our backyard is completely fenced in by a 6 foot privacy fence, and sections of the yard are fenced off with chain link. We have three dogs, Riley, Roxy, and Ramses who love having dogs visit and loving having new playmates! Our great Dane mix Roxy LOVES tiny dogs, and she is very gentle with them (but they both like all dogs). Our 3 year old lab mix (Ramses) has been raised on rover. He loves making and playing with new friends everyday! Our dogs are fully vaccinated and up to date, and can provide proof upon request. My husband used to work for a local deaf/blind Australian Shepard rescue, so he has a lot of experience with disabled dogs, and training dogs as well. We can offer full 24 hour supervision Every day!. My husband is home during the day to watch the dogs, and I work for the local school district and work 8am to 4 pm Monday through Friday, so I watch the dogs when I get home from work. We are centrally located in Orlando, within a 10-15 minute drive to Orlando international airport, 20 minutes from SeaWorld, Universal studios, and international drive. We are around 30 minutes from Disney.

Flea Policy

Due to the nature of rover ( having many different dogs come by the house daily), we have the house and our property professionally treated for flea prevention. This being Florida, once fleas have set in they are nearly impossible to eradicate. For the protection of your dogs, our dogs, and other client's dogs, we can not knowingly accept boarding or daycare requests for dogs that have fleas. If it is found that your dog(s) have fleas while in our care, they will be kept separated from the other dogs. At this point, you may choose to come pick up your dog, or we will administer the dog a capstar to kill the fleas and give the dog(s) a flea bath. The cost of a capstar and a flea bath is $15. Photo evidence will be supplied to the owner to confirm the presence of fleas. If you cannot pick up your dog after fleas are found the dog will be treated at the additional cost of $15. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but it is for the protection of our home, and all the current and future dogs we watch. Thank you!

We'll treat your pet like our own!Chuluota, FL

I am retired and live at home with my wife and our two children. I have excellent availability and will take care of your beloved pet as if they're part of my family. I can accept your pet at any time, 24/7. If you have any kind of emergency, you can count on me to take your pet (pets) in at any hour of the day or night. I have experience administering oral medications or injections. I pay close attention to your loved one and spend time with them by playing, walking, and giving them the affection that they deserve. I'll make sure that they're happy from the moment they arrive until they leave. I love all animals! Just ask our chihuahua Pikachu! I'll provide a huge yard for your pet to run around in and play. And plenty of toys to play with. My past experience with dog sitting has made me realize that doing this full time is what I really want to do. I hope you'll help me by booking your pet to stay with me soon!

24/7 Peace of Mind GuaranteeNorth Orange, Orlando, FL

At the Bow-Wow Bungalow, our mantra is that you cannot put a price on peace of mind. Our reviews and high number of repeat clientele, whom return time and time again, demonstrates the level of trust and ease you too will feel when boarding at The Bow-Wow Bungalow.

Whether you are an Orlando resident or in town as a visitor, you can relax and enjoy your time away from your pet knowing that I am able to dedicate my full day and undivided attention to your fur baby. My home schedule not only enables me to maintain the same routine day-to-day, but also allows the opportunity for frequent doggy potty breaks, walks to the neighborhood park, and plenty of playtime! During holidays and other periods of high-demand, The Bungalow is always equipped with on-call avid dog lovers to assist when necessary. This ensures that regardless of capacity, my high standards for the quality of care and your expectations are never compromised.

GREAT Downtown Location w/ Easy & Convenient Access to I4

I have only one pet of my own (Dali the pug), and growing up my family always had cats and large breed dogs, so I have experience with a wide array of different animals and temperaments. Of course, my time working with Rover has only helped to sharpen my skills as a care provider and my pug has adopted the role of Doggy Ambassador, he is agreeable with everyone!

I know how difficult it can be to leave your pet, even if for a day, and I am more than happy to supply picture & text updates regularly during your time apart. I even take requests for FaceTime calls just in case you want to send your furry baby some smooches!

Large Fenced Yard - Home Full TimeWinter Park, FL

As a lifelong dog lover, I know how important dogs are in our lives. That’s why I’ve taken care of them for so long! Nothing gives me more joy than to see a pup that knows that they are loved and well taken care of. They’re just like family members to us, so it’s great to give back to them. I also know how difficult it can be for owners to find quality care for their pooches while they’re away, so I’m here to fulfill that need.

I have always been around dogs and have a long history of being a caregiver, both privately and professionally. I have seven years of experience working for veterinarians, and I have also worked in kennels. I have extensive experience with shy dogs and pups with anxiety. I’ve been involved in beagle rescue for 20 years and have fostered hundreds of dogs. I have no problem giving oral or subcutaneous medications and am certified in pet cot and first aid. I have certification as a pet loss counselor! No matter what, your pup will be in good hands!

Although I’ll be the main caregiver to your pup, I do live with my partner and three other dogs. My partner loves dogs, but usually only helps out by providing some extra love and pets. I’ll be handling all the primary responsibilities. The three other dogs are very friendly and love having new friends around! They’ll make your pup feel like home in no time.

I live in Winter Park. The neighborhood is a bit older, but with safe streets for walking and exploring. My home has Terrazzo floors for easy accident cleanup, and I have dog beds across the house for spur-of-the-moment naptime. I also have baby gates set up to ensure guest dogs have safe spaces. My backyard is fenced off and partitioned. There is one space for small dogs, one for large dogs, and no guest dog is outside unsupervised.

I stay at home and I have been watching dogs for over 15 years

Why I love dog sitting

I have taken care of dogs for 15 plus years. I have a regular clientele with references on request. When dogs come here, they are immediately brought into my family. I learn each dog/dogs habits and care routine and stick to it. This is their home away from home.

About my yard

Becky watched our Pomeranian for 4 days on short notice and I couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter. She was very flexible with drop off and pick up and sent pictures everyday. You can tell she loves animals. Will definitely be using her again.
