I currently work as a freelance software developer, so I have a flexible schedule with open availability for pet care. This gives me the ability to provide reliable, consistent care and be available for walks, drop-ins, and other pet care needs throughout the week. “Here's the thing...Mandy is awesome! She wanted to do a Meet and Greet with our pup, before setting up a walking appointment. Our Border Collie is a shy girl when it comes to strangers. Mandy came in and sat on the floor, being patient and letting our dog come to her. After maybe 2 minutes our pup was best friends with her lol. Our pup kept getting Mandy to play tug, and throw her toy. It was so funny and cute. She didn't want to just take our money. She wanted to make sure she was a good fit for our dog, before committing to a walk. That's pretty cool. After taking our pup on a walk she always makes sure there's water in the bowl before she leaves. Mandy is very organized and professional! I would 100% recommend her.”

About: I've lived on a small farm since I was 10 where I've bathed, fed, and cared for multiple dogs, cats, chickens, goats and a bunny. Including puppies and kittens. Friends and family have relied on me to pet sit, provide grooming, medications, walks, and feed their pets. Often times stray animals will make their way into our yard and if they are injured, I'll care for them, feed them and foster them until I can identify their owners. I love all animals and consider each and every one of my pets as family. I am available during the morning and evenings on the weekdays, weekends, and on most holidays to care for your fur baby! At minimum, I spend an hour each visit to ensure your pet(s) are fed, clean, has had time to play and overall gets plenty of love and attention. In your home, I respect and take care of the home and pet(s) as if they were my own. I create a fun, safe and comfortable space for both the owner and pet(s) as I continuously provide updates and/or photos of the pet(s) to the owners during each visit. Depending on the rules from the pet owner, at night I will ensure the pet(s) do get crated and are inside and safe for bedtime and dinner.

About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was a kid. I grew up with big dogs- Rottweilers, blue heelers and pit bulls. Over the 2022 summer, I potty trained 2 Great Dane puppies, I also taught them how to sit, stay, and overall manners. I love animals and truly enjoy having them around. I do online college. I prefer to do payments privately due to Rover taking 20% of profits. WHEN PAYING PRIVATELY: it’s 30 per night, additional dogs it’s $18 (per dog), For cats it’s $10 per night, each cat is additional $7 dollars. (I have a photos of the fees rover takes out on my gallery) I care for my own dogs, she is a 6 years old American stafforshire terrier. I feed her, take her to the dog park, walk her, bathe her, and overall care for her. I make sure the dogs I’m caring for are let out when needed, I play with them as much as I can, and I feed them when they are scheduled to be fed. I love playing with dogs so I’d play with them and take them out on walks.

About: Over the years my family has had all types of pets. We have also had many different breeds of dogs and all different sizes from small dogs to large dogs. At the age of three I was taking our Great Pyrenees on walks. I absolutely love animals but currently do not have any of my own. I would treat your pet as if it was my own, with lots of love! I have a 2 year old daughter who is in love with all dogs too. We love to go on trails that that are stroller friendly therefore they will also be dog friendly. There are so many great dog parks in San Antonio too! I hope I will be able to watch your fur-baby!
