I have trained 2 therapy dogs and worked with these dogs in schools, medical and residential programs. I fostered over 7 puppies, adult and senior dogs. Your pet will be treated like my own 2 pups! I am great with special needs pets due me being special needs myself. We are a military family and took a break from Rover while in Japan, but now we are back in the States and ready to build a San Antonio clientele! About: I've lived on a small farm since I was 10 where I've bathed, fed, and cared for multiple dogs, cats, chickens, goats and a bunny. Including puppies and kittens. Friends and family have relied on me to pet sit, provide grooming, medications, walks, and feed their pets. Often times stray animals will make their way into our yard and if they are injured, I'll care for them, feed them and foster them until I can identify their owners. I love all animals and consider each and every one of my pets as family. I am available during the morning and evenings on the weekdays, weekends, and on most holidays to care for your fur baby! At minimum, I spend an hour each visit to ensure your pet(s) are fed, clean, has had time to play and overall gets plenty of love and attention. In your home, I respect and take care of the home and pet(s) as if they were my own. I create a fun, safe and comfortable space for both the owner and pet(s) as I continuously provide updates and/or photos of the pet(s) to the owners during each visit. Depending on the rules from the pet owner, at night I will ensure the pet(s) do get crated and are inside and safe for bedtime and dinner.

About: I've been working with animals for the past 5 Years! I started as a dog daycare attendant for a year where I learned how to read dog body language and behavior as well as how to handle emergency situations with dogs. I then became a full time pet sitter on my own and would watch all kinds of animals from household reptiles, small animals, cat, and of course dogs! After 1 year of this I switched to part time sitter to become a full time dog trainer! I trained for a year before becoming a manager at a pet hotel. I love my job to this day and still care for dogs and cats at my current job! I'm currently a stay at home mom for my babies so I am always home a ready to provide care! I usually (as weather permits of course) take a morning walk between 8-10am with my dog and my boarding friends, hang out around the house and backyard until our evening walk before bed around 8-10pm after the sun is down! I am constantly boarding dogs in my home so I do have extra crates if needed otherwise I only have 1 dog of my own who is a St. Bernard and is pretty lazy so he will be there to keep my boarding dogs company but also knows to nap if the other dogs need a break from playing. When I go to clients homes I always find a way to occupy my time with my clients and keep my attention on those animals!

“Here's the thing...Mandy is awesome! She wanted to do a Meet and Greet with our pup, before setting up a walking appointment. Our Border Collie is a shy girl when it comes to strangers. Mandy came in and sat on the floor, being patient and letting our dog come to her. After maybe 2 minutes our pup was best friends with her lol. Our pup kept getting Mandy to play tug, and throw her toy. It was so funny and cute. She didn't want to just take our money. She wanted to make sure she was a good fit for our dog, before committing to a walk. That's pretty cool. After taking our pup on a walk she always makes sure there's water in the bowl before she leaves. Mandy is very organized and professional! I would 100% recommend her.”

About: Animals sense I'm a big momma, and trust me, I have my own 3 beautiful dogs and want to help others who may not have the extra time to be a friend in need. I am a full time at home mom of teenagers and like to volunteer to help my community. I also homeschool so I'm flexible to change schedules.
