Tambre R.

“Tambre was awesome! We used her for our dog, Bliss when we came into town on vacation and could not take our little girl to the water park. Tambre, her husband and her four legged friends welcomed us with wagging tails. Bliss had an amazing time we loved receiving photo updates through out the day as well. I would highly recommend her to anyone!”

Sandra P.

“Sandra was great! She sent me lots of pictures and did a great job taking care of my puppy. I have never used Rover before, so this was a very pleasant first experience for me.”

Sheila S.

“Sheila is wonderful! When I take my dog in for daycare, she always comes home worn out from a long day of play. It makes me so happy that my dog gets to play a lot while I'm at work and that I don't have to worry at all.”

Cassandra M.

“Cassandra was awesome and super accomodating. Would 100% use her again the next time I'm in the area.”

Sarah M.

“As always, Sarah, Nick and the entire family are wonderful with our Romeo. They are incredibly communicative and are dog lovers. This is one of the few places where we know that Romeo will not be super anxious. We live in Austin and will opt to fly out of San Antonio when possible so that we can leave Romeo with Sarah.”

Tiffanie H.
“Tiffanie is amazing! I've had 4 different dogs over my years of knowing her and she's treated them all like her own. My dogs love going for walks and/or playing in the yard/house with her. Every time Tiff has seen my dogs after meeting them the first time, they get so excited to see her again. Tails are always up and they constantly give her kisses and snuggles. Tiffanie is a great human and really loves/takes care of my four legged fur babies. I was so sad when she move do a different state, because I knew she wouldn't be able to watch my babies again...”

“My dog Jack Frost had a wonderful stay with Katy. We really appreciated receiving pictures of his day and made us feel secure in knowing he was having a great time and was being well taken care of. The photos with the dog treat at pick up was especially nice. Would highly recommend Katy and will definitely visit again.”

Isabel Hernandez P.

“This was our first time to leave our fur babies with anyone EVER but when we met Isabel we knew she was the right one for us. She did NOT disappoint. Isabel was trustworthy and spent lots of time getting to know our fur babies. Isabel will definitely be our go to person to take care of our babies in the near future. Nothing like feeling confident and having your mind put to ease than to know that your fur babies are well taken care of! Thank you Isabel!”

Megan M.

“Mocha loves coming and staying at Megan’s. We love having picked Megan to care for Mocha and it turning out perfect. We definitely recommend to anyone the services she offers.”

About: I have fostered for rescues since 2013. Then I opened my own local rescue in 2019. I focus on large breed dogs that were neglected, overbred, underloved, and abandoned. ALL funds from Rover go into my dog rescue ❤️ I work 6 hour shifts most of the week but am otherwise home. Food and water is left in the room as well as DogTv, toys, and chews! I leave pee pads just in case as well. Our main dog room is a finished garage. It is temperature controlled and there are a minimum of two doors/fences between your dogs and any exits or other dogs. Every door is sturdy and kept locked while I’m not home. The other dogs in the home do not make much noise so your dogs probably won’t even know they exist :) I do keep white noise on in the room as well. This includes a loud fan or the AC plus “dog tv” at a comfortable volume. I know some dogs need time to feel safe in a new environment. So I spend the first hour or two letting them come and go, walking them on leash to grow trust, and sitting with them in the kennel. I wait until they’re comfortable before I leave them alone. There is also a nanny camera on them at all times. I check it through the day to make sure they are not nervous at any time. We do have some dog friendly dogs in the home. If you’d like your dog to make a friend , let me know and I will SAFELY and slowly introduce them the way I do with all of my dogs in the rescue! The front yard has a 4.5 ft fence with locked gate and security camera on the entire yard. Dogs are accompanied outside unless I go inside to fill their water bowls etc. the neighborhood is safe and my direct neighbors always keep an eye out for me and my dogs as well. There is very little foot traffic out front but if you think your dog can clear a 4.5ft fence if it sees a stray squirrel or cat, please let me know so I can let them use the backyard instead

Alan & Lynn E.
“Alan is a great guy all around. I have known him for over 5 years now and I can tell you, he loves the outdoors and pets. I honestly can not think of anytime I have seen him happier than when he is out and about with his dogs. He is great with pets. I would highly recommend him if you are looking for someone who is on time, respectful and will take wonderful care of your furbabies.”

Brittaney B.

“Even though I had to cut my business trip short, Brittany was amazing and I will definitely use her again when I return!!”

Jinger W.

“Jigger responded quickly, she assured me that our two dogs will be in very good hands. We had a very good meet and greet with my dogs. I was surprised that my Maltise didn't bark at all. They were both very calm. That gave me a big piece of mind. She gave us update with a picture, that was a very good touch. Pickup was flawless and made our whole experience a very good one. I would highly recommend Jinger to anybody.”

Annie C.

“Annie was so great with Dolly! She kept her for two days and one night and was a lifesaver! I have no doubt Dolly was a happy puppy at her house!”

About: I've been a dog mom for as long as I can remember. I was available for friends and coworkers in Houston to check in on dogs when their families would go out of town. I've fed dogs, played with them, provided medications and taken dogs on walks (unless it’s too hot). I really enjoyed dog sitting. My house has a big backyard with plenty of shade for dogs to roam around and play chase! We have closed every crack and crevice so no small dog can escape. 😊 I've have hosted several dogs before and I know I will be a loving companion to your best friends. I have a basset hound who is very friendly. She's 2 years old and very playful. She's known to push boundaries from time to time, but quickly backs off if dogs want to be left alone. She is skittish or scared of bigger dogs at first but overall, she would love the company of your furry friend. I am a teacher so I am available most of the summer to watch dogs. I usually follow the same schedule my hound has. Dogs stay with us in our bedroom. We let them out in the morning but we always accompany them since we think supervision is best. Then we feed them based on time/schedule and for playtime, we either go outside and throw a frisbee or we play fetch in the living room/foyer. I have a fenced yard where dogs can run around and play. I have one basset hound who is very playful and will love having company. She is fixed and very well behaved. Her favorite is tug of war and doing zoomies! I can take dogs on morning walks if it’s not too hot. Dogs are able to chill in the living room in the evening and enjoy the occasional bone/treat when well behaved. (if allowed.)
