1. Tambre R.
“Tambre is an absolute blessing! We were visiting from out of town and Tambre took care of our boy while we explored the area each day. I was a little nervous leaving our boy with other dogs, because he gets anxious at times. But after a meet-and-greet, Tambre said she had no concerns. Tambre sent several pictures throughout the day, every day, and our boy always seemed to be having a great time playing with new friends. Tambre has a special gift for pet-care, and I'm grateful that we found her! This was our first experience with rover.com and leaving a pet with anyone other than family, and Tambre made it amazing. Thank you so much, Tambre!”

5. Elisabeth & Gerald R.
“Elisabeth, Gerald and their sweet pups are the absolute best! Not only do they take wonderful care of my pup, Tenn, but they also keep me updated with photos all day long. They're considerate, kind and very flexible. Tenn will run up to the door and wait to go inside (she usually doesn't like to leave my side). I don't worry about Tenn at all when she's with them because I know they're caring for her like she's one of their own.”
6. Tamara L.
“I left our baby Irish setter with Tamara and because he was scared I think she spent the majority of the day holding him and making him feel comfortable.”

About: I have fostered for rescues since 2013. Then I opened my own local rescue in 2019. I focus on large breed dogs that were neglected, overbred, underloved, and abandoned. ALL funds from Rover go into my dog rescue ❤️ I am also currently battling my soul dog’s brain tumor so income goes to her vet bills as well I work 6 hour shifts most of the week but am otherwise home. Food and water is left in the room as well as DogTv, toys, and chews! I leave pee pads just in case as well. Our main dog room is a finished garage. It is temperature controlled and there are a minimum of two doors/fences between your dogs and any exits or other dogs. Every door is sturdy and kept locked while I’m not home. The other dogs in the home do not make much noise so your dogs probably won’t even know they exist :) I do keep white noise on in the room as well. This includes a loud fan or the AC plus “dog tv” at a comfortable volume. I know some dogs need time to feel safe in a new environment. So I spend the first hour or two letting them come and go, walking them on leash to grow trust, and sitting with them in the kennel. I wait until they’re comfortable before I leave them alone. There is also a nanny camera on them at all times. I check it through the day to make sure they are not nervous at any time. We do have some dog friendly dogs in the home. If you’d like your dog to make a friend , let me know and I will SAFELY and slowly introduce them the way I do with all of my dogs in the rescue!

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was around 12 years old in my neighborhood. I was known for my dog walking and feeding services. I have also gained trust with my friends who allow me to feed and watch over their pets while they're away on business trips. I'm currently working part-time so I have a flexible schedule to take care of your cute dog or cat. I respect your house and your pets space and want them to be as comfortable as possible. Whether that's with walks, feeding, house sits, or check-ins I look forward to helping you! I want to make sure I become a friendly face to your pup or cat. I strongly encourage meet and greets :) When visiting them for feeding or to go for a walk I'll make sure their environment is clean and safe. When staying as a guest for a house sit, I will leave your house clean or cleaner than it was, I prioritize that.

“My dogs LOVE Candice! They get so excited, they can tell she’s coming even before she gets to the door. They are so IN LOVE with her they will just sit and watch her… waiting for her to speak to them. My dogs are large (Saint Bernard and Lab/Rottie mix) so I feel like she could handle any animal.”
