About: Hello my name is Candida (Candi). I have worked in and with Rescues and Humane Societies throughout the State of WI over the last 30 years. I currently have 4 dogs and live out in the country with lots of room to run. I am very familiar with different behavior issues as well as how to work with your pets to get through those issues. This experience comes from fostering many high risk animals over the years. Your pet will be treated the same in my home as he/ she is treated in your home. If they go on your furniture, they are welcome on mine, etc. I am always willing to go the extra mile, if your pet needs a bath or a nail clip, I am happy to do that. I have experience with training, CPR, Giving Meds both by mouth and shot. Some of my friends lovingly call me the crazy dog lady because of my deep love for dogs, they have feelings and emotions just as we do and I always take that into consideration when caring for them. Given the opportunity I will show you that you can trust me to care for your baby while you are away just as you care for them when you are home. I currently work part time at my own small business so my schedule is super flexible and can be easily worked around your needs. This gives me the flexibility to give your pet all the time and attention they need while in my care. I have four dogs that are the sweetest babies. They get along great with all animals as well as kids. I do not have a fenced yard as we live on 80 acres out in the country, but I do have a portable temporary fencing that can be put up for outside time. We have a large area in the lower level of our home for inside play time. As I said earlier, when your pet is in my home, they will be treated just as they are when they are with you. I know how important routine is to their little minds. If you feed at a certain time, I will follow that routine. I know mine have a very set routine, they surely know when dinner time is. :o)

I’d prefer dogs who are comfortable around kids, but if your pup needs a quieter space, they can relax in our large basement when the kids are home from school. We’re an active, outgoing family that loves animals, and your pet will be treated like one of our own! Every pet is different, and I tailor my care to their individual needs. If your pet is well-trained and non-destructive, they are welcome to hang out with me throughout the day while I work from home alongside my own dog. We take regular walks, enjoy playtime, and, if they’re comfortable, they can even join us on hikes or dog park visits. If I need to step out for work onsite (which isn’t frequent), your dog may need to spend some time in a kennel for safety, but they will always receive at least 4-5 potty breaks and plenty of attention throughout the day. My goal is to make every pet feel comfortable, engaged, and well cared for in a home environment. As a part-time veterinary assistant (now working just one Saturday a month), I’m highly experienced in handling pets safely and ensuring their well-being at all times.

I have a very flexible schedule and a very dog friendly home. We have one dog in the home sometimes too because I watch my daughter's dog. We have a big country yard, dogs would be monitored with a leash unless the dog is good at obeying commands. Big yard with walking trails.

About: Hello! I am a lifetime pet lover with experience caring for cats and dogs of all sizes. I love all animals, big and small! I am a psychotherapist and I work from home about 50% of the time, so I’ll be able to accommodate frequent potty breaks. I’m currently working part-time, so I’ll be able to be actively engaging with your pets fully outside of about 4 hours per weekday. I work from home, so it’s easy to take a walk or a drive to the dog park if your pup is high energy. For older or calmer dogs and/or cats, I make good company! I am always respectful of personal preferences when it comes to pet care. If I’m staying in your home, I will be respectful of your space and your boundaries around how I use that space. If your dogs are in my home, I will listen to your opinions about how and how much exercise they need, what will make them most comfortable, and their feeding/potty schedule.

About: I always had a dog in my house growing up, and my dogs became part of the family. I have been dog sitting for five years and continue to love helping people take care of their pets. I currently do not own a dog at my own place, but my parents have two Labrador retrievers that I visit any chance I can get. I am very organized and enjoy working with different types of pets. About: I grew up on a dairy farm so I’ve been around animals my whole life, where my passion for animals began. Growing up we had a family dog, yellow lab named Ryley. In 2016 I got my first blue heeler named Creek. Then last year I added my second blue heeler / border collie mix named Gator. My dogs are my life. My sister also has 3 dogs of her own and together you’ll see in my pictures that my sister and I are both very active with our dogs! I love training my dogs , going for walks/hikes, and doing dog sports with them. I’d love to help your pets by taking them for walks and getting some cute pictures of them for you! Photography is a side hobby of mine as well! I currently work part time to full time in Madison. I have flexibility with my schedule during the week days and would love to be able to help get your pups a good walk / enrichment in throughout the day! I would ensure to walk your dogs however you prefer with collar/ leash or harness / leash combo. My dogs do well with their collars/leash during controlled city walking and use harness during hikes.

About: I have patience. I have worked in a group home and as a job coach for people with special needs. I have always had pets in my home i,e, dogs, cats, gerbils, fish, Chinchilla, and outdoor rabbits. I grew up with pets always around. I have time during the weekday to be able to walk your dogs. I like taking walks during the day and would like to walk them on a continual basis. I walk, feed and care for my dog everyday.I think it's important for dogs to get exercise everyday and on a regular basis if possible.

About: I have started my animal career at pet resorts as an animal caretaker, while progressing to grooming dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments! I studied animal science for one year in college, before deciding to work full time as a groomer. I have had plenty of experience in training dogs, as I have trained two certified service dogs through Custom Canines Service Dog Academy in Madison. When taking care of your furry friend, I will treat them as my own pup! I can also offer nail trims, baths, and light trimming on a case by case basis :) I am working towards getting my dog training certification, so I am looking for a part time job and hands-on hours to sit for the CDPT-KA exam!
