About: I've been caring for animals my entire life, from tiny kittens to large senior dogs. My experience includes in home care for multiple pets at once, senior dog care with special needs, and providing daily care for Yorkshire Terrier and a high-energy cattle dog - both over a year. I've also shared 16 loving years with my Bombay Cat, providing attentive care through injuries and end-of-life needs, and now I have a well-trained, happy Cockapoo of my own (plus I dog-sit for her brother!) I have experience with directed senior pet care, administering basic medications (including subcutaneous fluids), and light training. My lifelong love for animals means I treat every pet like family - whether it's long walks, gentle care for older pets, energetic playtime, or plenty of cuddles. What sets me apart is my ability to adapt to to each animal's unique personality and needs, my patience, and dedication to creating a safe, loving environment where pets feel at home. During the week I am lucky to work a remote position at a software consulting firm that I have worked at for over 15 years. This makes it easy to work wherever I need to, and provides the opportunity to spend more time at home with my pup, but also opens up my time before and after my regular work day, also a flexible lunch hour for midday check-ins. On walks, I make sure your pet is safe, happy, and engaged. During visits I make sure to be attentive to your pet and that they feel secure.
