“I am so thankful to have found Caitlin. I had a last minute issue with my previously arranged pet sitter and turned to Rover hoping for the best. With less than 48 hours turnaround from contract to start of my extended vacation she was able to accommodate a meet and greet and was more than willing to take on my entire menagerie, even making herself comfortable with a rat and a bearded dragon! She was great at following the extensive directions I left and she communicated with me on the regular, sending me pics of my happy, happy crew. I’ll definitely be using Caitlin again, if I can ever afford another vacation after the last one!”

“Rachel did a great job watching our old man for a couple nights. Munchie is 19 and pretty low maintenance but has his quirks. Sent pictures throughout the day and let us know when he was up and about. Would ask her to watch him again!”

About: I have been house/dog sitting sine the mid 1980's ( I know, a whole other century)! I have no problem staying at your place and taking care of your doggies, collecting the mail, watering your plants, or whatever keeps strangers at bay. I do have allergies to cats which is a bummer as I am a new cat-grandma but can do feedings or litter changing ( I wear a mask)- I just can't stay over. I have always had dogs in my adult life, and would love to be the "Mrs. Grandma" to your little fur baby! I work from 8am to 4pm Monday-Friday beginning Aug 8.. My evenings and weekends are free of work obligations. I do love to stay busy and explore fun things to do in and around the city or I can snuggle at home with my Winnie and a good book. I have had double knee replacements so walking dogs can be a tad difficult if it is a long journey. My dog (Winnie) has graduated to not requiring her cage during the day and a fenced in yard which she loves chasing the frisbee and tennis balls. We live near a park and Winnie loves to explore the trails. We also have a rabbit (Chip) who was originally a gift for my son and quickly became mine. Chip has an area where he resides inside but loves to be hopping around the living room.

“My pitty was very comfortable with Maggie and her sweet dog Willow while dog sitting in my house for 4 nights. I received daily photos and updates of their fun walks and snuggle time on the couch. We will definitely be using Maggie again in the future! She is a dog lover through and through. Plus, the house was spotless upon my return.”

“Ashley is the best, she takes such good care of my boys, even if they are not behaving. She loves them like they are her own, she is one in a million so grateful for her.”

“Lily was very friendly and was available rather last minute which made our lives so much easier! She was communicative and followed instructions perfectly. Would recommend her for any pet needs :)”

“Rebecca is great! My pups adore her. They are both on several medications and she is great at administering them. She also is quick to reply and sends pictures often. I trust her completely with my home and babies.”

“Justin was amazing! I’m so grateful he took such great care of my baby Nittany. She’s on multiple seizure medications, so I needed someone truly reliable to give them on time, and Justin absolutely delivered. He even kept a close eye on her sneaky ways of trying to avoid them (not surprised, lol)! I would 100% book with Justin again and recommend him to everyone on this app. Thank you, Justin!”

“April was very helpful and flexible for last minute trip planning. She was also very patient and understanding when I had some miscommunication and then some health issues. I can't thank her enough. Most importantly, she was very attentive to the fur babies and they seemed to like her a lot.”

About: I've had pets my whole life, being able to care for a variety of dog breeds/types. During my time at Wittenberg University, I fostered and cared for a service dog in training, raising the puppy from birth to trying to complete the program. This included grooming, cooperative care, daily care, socialization, and training. I also dogsat for others in the program regularly - providing weekly and overnight care which included grooming, feeding, walking, and socialization. I am currently unemployed, being able to provide care for your dog 24/7. Dog care is imbedded into my routine with my Golden Retriever - so adding a new furbaby will be second nature! I have a large backyard that will be getting fenced soon. We also have a friendly golden retriever who loves ALL dogs! We have a crate in our home that isn't used by our dog, so we are able to house overnight.

About: Growing up on a farm means I have an abundance of experience with animals of all shapes and sizes. This experience has only grown thanks to the 1000+ hours spent caring for a great variety of animals thanks to my preparation for and training in veterinary school. I have worked in several veterinary clinics, a couple of shelter settings, and a commercial aviary. This means I am incredibly comfortable caring for all kinds of pets of any age, as well administering medications and keeping up with unique needs. Much of my love for veterinary medicine comes from the opportunity to bond with people and their pets, and providing pet care is another amazing chance to do just that. I would love to serve you and your four-legged family! Being a student allows for a very flexible schedule, perfect for attentive and personalized pet care! Much of my course work can be done online, so I am often free to hang out with your furry friends while I study throughout the day. I try to build my schedule where I don't need to leave pets alone longer than 6 hours maximum, and I am willing to adjust according to your pet's needs. I take great care to keep your pet's routine as similar as possible to their normal to minimize stress. I love to schedule a meet & greet beforehand to get to know you and your pet, and get to know all the details of their routine. I know what questions to ask to make the process as enjoyable and stress free as possible. I also know how nice it is to come back to a clean home. Therefore, when staying in a client's home I take great care to leave everything exactly as it was or better. That way you can relax knowing your pets are well taken care of, and you have nothing to worry about when you return.

About: I’ve dog-sat (and house-sat) for friends for a while, and nothing brings me more joy than seeing happy dogs! I love taking them for long walks or runs, spending the day playing with them, and of course giving them plenty of hugs and pets! ❤️🐶 I’m currently working full-time, so during the week I’m available to go on short walks during lunch and make sure your dog is fed and can use the bathroom. I can spend time with them in the evenings as well, and I’m also available for house sitting to keep them company while you’re away! I don’t have any pets of my own at home, but I’ve had plenty of experience caring for pets of friends and family members. I like taking them for walks through neighborhoods or parks where they can meet other dogs or people and see new places!

About: I've owned dogs of all kinds, big and small, young and old, as well as many cats, bunnies, and reptiles. Whichever type of pet you have, I will dedicate myself to making sure your companion safely has their needs met! I am a plant lover, so if you have any plants that need taken care of, I am willing to do that as well.🌿 I love to take cute pictures and will keep you plenty updated while you are away! I'm very flexible with scheduling and can help your pet at almost anytime. My Rover calander is updated frequently but feel free to reach out with any questions of availability, and I will do my best to accomodate you! Aside from giving rides in my personal life, my days are very open, so I'll have plenty of time to dedicate to your pets.🐾 Your trust means a lot to me, and I want to surpass expectations. Communication is my top priority and I will make sure that you, your pets and I, all have a great time together. Please reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns!

“We felt our pups were safe, on a fairly short notification time, and were able to enjoy our travels. Samantha cared for the house and pups excellently.”

“Elizabeth is THE BEST ! If you love your pet like a child then don’t hesitate she is caring loving, sends tons of pictures and updates. We love her and our pet loves her too”

About: There’s never been a time in my life without animals in the home! From a young age, I helped care for our dogs—feeding them (we even cooked their meals from scratch!), playing, and giving them lots of love. I have vivid memories of spending hours bonding with them as a child. Over the years, I’ve also helped friends and family care for their pets while they were away. I’ve looked after senior dogs and have experience giving medication when needed. My calm, nurturing nature helps animals feel safe and comfortable, whether they’re shy, playful, or in their golden years. I’m currently visiting home for the summer, I will be available until the 30th of July. My schedule is flexible as I’m not working right now. You know your pet better than anyone — you’re the boss! I’m happy to follow any instructions or stick to a strict routine to make sure your fur baby stays happy and comfortable. Please provide a strong description of your pets personality, as it will help me adapt quickly and build trust. I’ll always keep you updated with messages and photos so you can see just how happy your baby is while you’re away!

“Abigail was an outstanding sitter! She was very conscientious and provided many regular updates. She walked my dogs and played with them! They had a great time! Abigail sent many pictures. A very responsible person! Highly recommend!!!”

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was 7/8 years old! From on the farm to inside the house. I now have a big fenced in back yard where dogs can run and play! We love going on walks, as there is a walking trail right by our house! The kids love walking dogs and getting to play with them as well. Getting dirty outside doesn’t bother us as bathing them is a fun time for us! I work part-time/Oncall. I do have a crate if needed or they can roam the house as it is also their home! We have plenty of space for them to be comfortable. I have a big fenced in back yard and one fur baby of my own to keep your fur baby company. Wally loves to play fetch and run, but also loves to lay down on any blanket he can find! We spend LOTS of time in the back yard as I have 3 little children who love to play and run with Wally and the other dogs that come over for a visit!

Kaela w.
“I have known Kaela AKA Nicole for a very long time, I’d say 11 years at least. Nicole has watched and cared for my dogs numerous times over the years. The dogs I’ve had over the years range in size and shape. I’ve had teacup yorkie to boxer, pit bulls, and Shar Pei’s. Nicole cared for my animals from days to weeks at a time. Nicole is very sincere when it comes to animals. Dogs are her passion especially. I have one dog that I brought from Florida to Ohio with me. This dog has not seen Nicole in five years and since she walked through the door, he knew exactly who she was and that’s a teacup yorkie I have. To put that much in an impression on a dog‘s life to remember somebody five years she must be doing something right I never had an issue with her. She’s an excellent worker.”

Whether it is a drop-in or taking care of her for the day, Amanda always sends photos, checks in, and provides great service! She really gets to know your baby and becomes best friends with them! I highly recommend Amanda for all your sitting needs.”

Alexandra P.
“Alex recently watched our two golden retrievers and two indoor cats while we were gone for an extended weekend. She was always prompt on her responses leading up to the trip and even came over a few days before to meet the animals and clear up any household questions. During her stay, she sent us texts and images letting us know our doggos and cats were doing well! I would highly recommend Alex to anyone in the area looking for a great pet sitter!”

She's taken care of my cat before and I've sat in a few times while she cared for her parents dogs and cats. When I leave my cat with her, I'm able to know that my cat is safe and in good hands. She's extremely knowledgeable to the point that I direct all my pet related questions to her!”
