About: Hi! My name is Summer, and I'm originally from Colorado and am a student at Chapman University. Back home, I have two Aussie Doodles that I would walk every day. Since my Freshman year of high school, I have taken care of several dogs and cats in my neighborhood. Whether it was routine walks, letting them out if my neighbor had a busy day, watching them overnight, or just giving them some love and playtime, I was always there. I would love to do the same for my new neighbors here in California. While I miss my pets, I can't wait to love yours! I'm currently a student at Chapman University and have a lighter class load this semester, which allows me to devote more time to pet sitting and walking. On Monday, I have a class from 4:00pm-6:50pm; on Tuesday and Thursday, classes from 11:30am-5:15pm; on Wednesday, a class from 1:00pm-3:50pm; and no class on Fridays. As long as I have notice, I can always take care of pets on the weekends as well! I have a car, so I can easily go back and forth from school to take care of your animal and stay with them, not only to let them out and feed them, but also to give them loads of love and playtime. Before entering or staying at a client's home, I discuss personal house rules and boundaries so we are always on the same page. I also provide several photos of the animals while I'm with them, and location updates while walking!

About: I’ve been a veterinary assistant going on 8 years now. I am comfortable caring for senior pets, administering medications, including injections and I don’t mind exotics. I am currently working so i will be able to work around schedules and my classes are online for now so I can definitely plan my classes around your pets’ schedule. In general, I believe all living beings deserve to be treated with love and respect. Therefore, I will make sure their bowls are clean, they have clean water, access to comfort and safety checks before I leave.

“Abigail is such an incredible housesitter! My dog is very particular with who she likes, and she took to liking Abigail right away. Usually, when we leave on a trip, my dog loses her appetite, which is really bad, because that is how we administer her medication. Abigail had no problem giving her all of her medication three times per day while also giving her a lot of walks throughout the day as well. On top of that, for some reason, I packed my dog’s leash and harness in my luggage by accident. So Abigail went out of her way and bought her a harness and also a tool to help crush her medications. She also provided us photo updates throughout our trip as well, which put us at ease. Thank you, Abigail, for everything!”

“Gloria was genuinely everything we could have hoped for. We were traveling with our two dogs and needed someone to watch them in our hotel room, which can be a little stressful because it’s an unfamiliar place for them. Bert is our 1-year-old anxious sweetheart, and Bud is our 10-year-old sweet “grumpy” old man, so we really just wanted someone who would keep them calm, safe, and comfortable. Gloria did exactly that. She was on time, kind, easy to communicate with, and sent us sweet updates and pictures throughout the night. It made such a difference being able to go out and actually feel confident that our boys were okay. She took them out, gave them treats, hung out with them, and clearly paid attention to who they are instead of just “watching dogs.” She also left us the sweetest handwritten card and a Polaroid of Bud and Bert, which honestly meant so much. It was such a thoughtful little thing and showed how much she cares. We came back to two safe, happy boys, and that’s really all you can ask for. We’re so grateful we found Gloria and would book her again in a heartbeat. Highly, highly recommend her.”

About: I’ve taken care of our family dogs (mastiffs, labs, and basset hounds) since I was a kid and have regularly cat-sit for family members and friends since I was 14. From giving medicine to cleaning up accidents I’ve probably handled anything your pet could throw at me before, and if they manage to give me something new I’m happy to learn! I work full time in a corporate office so I’m available outside the hours of 8:30a-5:30p (most days) to check up on your pets. I’m more than happy to make drop in visits on my lunch if I can! I want to make sure your pet is as comfortable as possible when I’m there! Treating your pet how you normally treat them is super important to me, and if for some reason I don’t think I’d be able to support your pet in their needs I’ll let you know right away so you can find a more appropriate sitter.

About: I have taken care of my neighbors’ and family friends dogs since 2015 ranging from English bulldog to Chihuahua to full size labradoodles. I have also cared for my own dogs. I am currently working part-time Monday-Thursday and am available after 3pm. I am fully available on Fridays. I work 1 weekend day which does fluctuate between Saturday and Sunday depending on the week - on that work day, I am available before 9:30am and after 6:30pm. I am very respectful of the client’s home. I will obey their house rules. I will make sure to be thorough with any provided instructions and ask questions about things I am not sure about. I keep a clean and organized space.

About: I have two cats of my own currently and I had a husky growing up! I’d watch family and friend’s pets if needed and I’ve sheltered a few dogs because somehow they always find me! I also love walks, so I’d love to have a furry friend with me :) I am currently a student with a lot of free time! I’m available after 12:00pm Mondays-Fridays, except for Wednesdays, I’m available after 5:00pm. I am also available all day Saturdays and after 3:00pm Sundays! I cannot offer to take your fur babies to my home due to living on campus, but I am always open to coming to your home! I will make sure your baby is cared for and that your home will be respected!!
