About: Growing up in a dog-centric household, I learned from a young age how to work with puppies and dogs of all ages. I’ve house-sat and watched family and friend’s dogs consistently over the last 10 years, all while doing volunteer work at the local animal shelter. Many times I’ve had dog owners tell me that their dogs don’t usually like strangers, but they feel at-ease with me. I have a lot of experience reading and understanding canine body language, so your pets are in good hands. I currently work full-time, but am able to work remotely when needed. Currently, Thursday-Sundays would work best for me if you need any housesitting or animal care services including walking or bathroom, but have my calendar open for other days/times. I’m very attentive to animal safety when dealing with pets. Unless otherwise instructed, I will keep pets leashed and away from other dogs. Additionally, I will strictly adhere to any nutritional requirements and understand your pet’s current dietary or medicinal needs before working with your pet. Pets have always been family to me, and the treatment of your dog will be held to my same standard.

“Heather watched my condo and senior pup, Rusty, overnight for 4 days. Rusty is 13, has a heart murmur, is blind in one eye and has very limited sight out of the other eye. A few days before our planned trip my Rusty’s heart murmur increased to a grade 5 and he went on heart medication twice per day. Heather watched over him and kept a very detailed care diary for me since it was his first week on the medication. She was very communicative and sent lots of photos throughout their time together. Heather really put me at ease and gave me peace of mind leaving Rusty for a few days after some medical changes. Rusty really seemed at ease with her. I cannot sing her praises enough. “Daniel stayed with our two dogs for eight days. They were happy, eating and playful all week. He has been so good for our dogs when we are gone. He took care of all their needs and gave them play time in the yard. The house and the dogs were in great condition when we returned. He even folded blankets and left the place clean. He stayed a couple extra hours when our flights continued to get delayed just in case they were cancelled, and left calming dog channel on for them when he did leave. We will definitely be booking him again.”
