“Highly recommend! Michael, his wife, and their pup Kirby are warm and welcoming. Little Bear struggles with separation anxiety and fortunately, he adjusted quickly to their home. Likely because of the good vibes, chill environment, sweet pet parents and a level of understanding and flexibility that is much appreciated. Huge yard and conveniently located. Great sitter!!”

“Carlo was great with my pup! Very thoughtful and courteous. He was flexible with timing when it mattered most. Really came in clutch for me on a short notice work offsite. I look forward to booking with Carlo again!”

“I feel so lucky to have found Ash. My dog is fearful reactive and Ash has been willing to take her on, slowly building a relationship with my dog with repeated short visits with the goal of boarding. It’s a slow process, but Ash has been so patient and supportive.”

“Barbara watched my 5 month old Shih zhu puppy Lucy for a week and she was great. She took her on walks, played, and best of all sent us constant pics and updates. By day two Lucy was already excited when I dropped her off. I could tell she was in good hands and I wouldn’t definitely want Barbara to watch Lucy again.”

“Bunny and Kitty love Shanni. They had an opportunity to spend 2 days with Shanni. The girls got to walk and 'work' :-) with Shanni. Shanni kept me posted with pictures thru out the days. Thanks so much Shanni for taking such a good care of my 2 princesses. We will see you again next week :-)”

About: I have always had a passion for animal caretaking and my love for animals really took off after studying Animal Science at UC Davis. I started off with very basic dog walking which eventually snowballed into dog training. From there I’ve worked at pet hotels, dog training facilities, and fostered for many rescues. I am currently an active foster for BASH, Welcome Home Sanctuary, and Nine Lives here in the Bay Area. My goal is to create the most home-like experience for your pet while you are away, while prioritizing the safety and comfort of your pet. I keep a quiet home to help shy/nervous/anxious pets acclimate and also provide playtimes and owner-brought enrichments for our more rambunctious guests. Pets are allowed on furniture (given they are allowed on furniture at home) and are treated like family. I am comfortable taking pets of all ages with no major illness. I am comfortable administering medications, accommodating special diets, and separating pets that need extra space. I cannot wait to meet your best friend! Time availabilities: I am available for daycare drop offs 7-9am and daycare pick ups 6-9pm I am available for boarding drop offs starting at 9am and pick ups ending by 9pm. Child free home with two adults who WFH. I am available for drop offs and can be flexible M-F; weekends I like to take our guests on hikes to Pulgas Ridge or Stafford Park. Please be up to date on flea/tick meds! * I am not able to take human aggressive pets * Dogs are taken on two walks a day, offered as many potty breaks needed, access to water and toys 24/7, and play times with friends! For the safety of all our guests, dogs are separated during meal times and overnight using crates.

About: Animals have been at the heart of our family for decades. My wife and I currently share our home with two beloved dogs, and over the years we've welcomed countless furry companions into our lives—from young puppies to gentle senior dogs who deserve extra love and patience. I've had the joy of caring for dogs of every size and personality, from energetic german shorthaired pointers to laid-back bulldogs, and I understand that each dog has unique needs and quirks that make them special. With decades of hands-on experience, I know how to keep your dog comfortable, entertained, and loved whether you're at the office for the day or halfway around the world on vacation. Your peace of mind is just as important to me as your dog's happiness. I work remotely and have the flexibility to work from anywhere and arrange my schedule to meet the needs of my clients. I am available in the local area (Half Moon Bay, El Granada, Moss Beach, Montara) for daily walks or anywhere in San Mateo County and northern parts of Santa Clara County for housesitting/petsitting. Your dog's safety and happiness are my absolute priorities. I follow your established routines to the letter—from feeding schedules and medication times to favorite walking routes and those special bedtime rituals—because I understand that consistency is what helps dogs feel secure when their favorite humans are away. You'll receive regular photo and video updates throughout the day so you can see your furry family member thriving, and I'm always just a call or text away if you want to check in or have questions. I pay close attention to the little things that matter—subtle changes in appetite, energy levels, or behavior—because I treat every dog in my care with the same love and attentiveness I'd want for my own. As a homeowner myself, I understand how stressful it can be to leave both your beloved pet and your home in someone else's hands. That's why I take equal care of both, ensuring your house stays secure and well-maintained while your dog receives all the attention and exercise they need. My goal is simple: for you to return home to a happy, content dog and a well-cared-for house, knowing you can truly relax and focus on your vacation or business trip without a single worry.

About: I love dogs and want to help with yours! I've cared for pups on Trusted Housesitters, for friends and have fostered many dogs. I'm still in the process of figuring out what type of dog would work best for me one day. Until I get my own pet, I want to help you take care of your furry friend! Part of my earnings will also go to local rescues. If you're interested in fostering, please let me know and I'll connect you with my favorite local rescues! I work from home and need to go on walks and take breaks. So would love to go on walks with your pet or have a furry friend to visit when I'm off duty. For housesitting, I can work from home at your place. Housesitting includes a 30 minute daily walk and potty breaks. If you need a longer walk for your pet, I will modify the pricing. For doggy day care, if you have a non-shedding dog who is potty trained, I'm happy to have a co-working buddy while I work from home if your dog doesn't like being alone. Plus, I'll have a reason to take a break and go outside! For boarding services, I will care for your dog if you can meet my same criteria above for doggy day care.

About: It's my pleasure to look after your furry family member. I'm an outdoorsy person and taking your pup for walks is my main thing. If your pet just likes hanging around the house, I'm good with that, too! I give individualized care because each furry family member has different needs. I will listen to your needs and make plans accordingly and will also make suggestions if needed. With healthy doses of excellent care, you and your pets needs are my concern. Clear instructions and communication is important for ensuring a happy pet.

Venora H.
“Venora is great with dogs! Our Akita mix, Coco, doesn’t do well with strangers but she loves Venora. Venora even taught her a new trick.”

Shelley M.

“We have booked with Shelley before because she is reliable and good with dogs. Shelley made Paco feel at ease during his stay.”

Carrie P.
“If I were a pet I would want Carrie to take care of me. Even before she asked for a testimonial, I had asked her if she would pet sit for me. I’ve known her for over a decade. She was hired by the group I worked for at Stanford. Most people I have worked with over the decades don’t become dear friends, but she did. We always put the work relationship first. She honors her commitments. She is highly empathetic and responsible. You can trust her with your loved one.”

Ashley R.
“Ashley was a great dog sitter. She was available with very short notice and was willing to stay up late to accommodate our schedule. Thanks Ashley!”
