About: Grew up in a big family that loved dogs + cats, and had many! Had a very special pup of my own, Mars, who I lost in 2022. I still have all the love to give to other people's pets, and enjoy this active + fun type of work, while I work on finishing my degree this year! I've taken care of all types of dogs - young, old, hyper-active (had a herding breed myself!), special needs, and have cared for multiple dogs as well. I adore cats as well! Trustworthy, bright, positive person with smarts, common sense, and a big heart for people and animals! I have a very flexible schedule, as my classes are online. I am happy to drive to your home, and can work around your schedule + mine. I am happy to care for your pets in your home, and to walk them around your neighborhood, or take them out with me to parks.

About: I've had experience taking care of a variety of breeds, including mixes like a Shepsky, and pure breds like Golden Retrievers and Shar Pies. These experiences also inlcuded a rescue dog that was heart worm positive that required medication and extra care, as well as a blind senior dog that required an intensive special diet and medication schedule. At the moment I have a wide variety of availability and being in between jobs I would like to take more time for things I enjoy, such as being around and caring for animals. I previously held a job working for a law enforcement agency and have worked in positions of public trust in the past, so I have passed a very complete background check as well as mutiple reference checks. I will have the utmost respect for your pet and home.

“Alex was amazing. Louis had an accident in his crate and he took the initiative to clean it up and reset his crate. Alex is thorough and efficient making sure your pets are well cared for. Would definitely book again”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 10, including walking, feeding, bathing, and giving lots of love! Over the years, I’ve looked after dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels, puppies to seniors. Neighbors, friends, and family rely on me regularly because I’m patient, responsible, and truly love what I do. I also have experience administering oral medication and basic training support for puppies. I work part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility to provide pet care. I’m available on weekends and weekdays between 9 to 2 and after 6 PM. Whether it’s daily walks, check-ins, or overnight care, I can adjust to your pet’s schedule and needs. I live in a pet friendly home with a fenced yard and two sweet dogs who love company. I always prioritize safety, whether that means leash walks, crate use, or gradual introductions. I love taking dogs for walks and just hanging out with them in general. I’d love to meet more and more animals as I work on this app. I also look forward to taking them on walks for exercise for me and the pup ☺️ I’m currently working but I need some extra money. About: Saturday Grace has been an avid cat-lover all their life. They currently live with mostly senior cats and have lots of experience with subcutaneous fluids, medication, and general senior cuddling. But fear not! Saturday has also fostered many kittens, including those abandoned by their mamas and in need of bottle feeding. Saturday is an all ages cat-carer. Saturday has recently discovered their love of dogs as well. They love providing care, short walks, and lots and lots of snuggles to their canine friends. Saturday does best with small and medium dogs. They only take large dogs if they don't need walks. When they are not entirely absorbed by pet-cuddles, Saturday can be found reading, writing, or attempting not to kill their garden. As a life coach and writer, I have a lot of flexibility. I'm available for morning walks or drop in breakfast visits starting at 7am and am available for drop ins the rest of the day. If I'm house sitting for your pets, we'll come up with an agreed upon schedule for when they need me home. If they need constant care and cannot be left alone, there is an extra charge. I appreciate being able to care for pets in their own environments where they feel safe. I will respect your home just as if it were my own. At our meet and greet will discuss any house care (ie: mail or plant watering) as well as any house rules (ie: Miffie isn't allowed in the office). We will also discuss sleeping arrangements, if that applies.

About: 35+ Five Star Reviews on THS. I love bonding with new pets and making their owners' lives easier with loving care and training. I have been doing pet/house sits across the U.S. and around the world with THS for a few years now and really love it. Pet owners have really appreciated the care and training I provide and it makes me feel good to know that an owner can enjoy their pet even more after some basic behavioral training. I work from home (patent attorney) and make my own schedule. I enjoy playing with pets and going for walks as a work break. I'm very active and enjoy running with dogs and also Onewheeling (hoverboard) with dogs that love to run fast and for long distances. It's great exercise for all of us and the dogs always come back exhausted and ready for nap time. I have an enclosed backyard patio and an extra large doggy door so dogs can come and go as they please. I can also crate dogs that are not house trained and provide frequent potty breaks/walks.

“Have had Saturday stay with my pups when we’ve traveled and some afternoons when the puppy was young She’s upbeat and friendly with the dogs and they love it Would definitely recommend her and she’s a mainstay in this household”

Esmeralda M.

“Esmeralda was amazing! Punctual, kind and a life saver for our puppy!”

Aiden G.
“Aiden is such a loving and patient doggie dad! He has two dogs completely different one is much older and the other is just a puppy but has equal love and patience for both. I've met both of his dogs and they're so we'll behaved (even the puppy) and loving. It really shows on Aiden his love for his dogs and pets in general.”

Carrie P.
“If I were a pet I would want Carrie to take care of me. Even before she asked for a testimonial, I had asked her if she would pet sit for me. I’ve known her for over a decade. She was hired by the group I worked for at Stanford. Most people I have worked with over the decades don’t become dear friends, but she did. We always put the work relationship first. She honors her commitments. She is highly empathetic and responsible. You can trust her with your loved one.”

Ashley R.
“Ashley has grown up with dogs. She loves dogs! She has worked with dogs in at the kennel and has helped trained at the Menlo Park Schutzhund Club. She has two German Sheppard’s herself. At the club, she has worked with not only her dogs but also worked and played a lot around puppies. She knows how to handle animals and is very natural around them. As soon as she sees a dog, she becomes very happy and greets them. She gets them to trust her right away. As an individual, she is very loving, caring and respectful. She is extremely responsible and takes care of others. She is “in-tune” with people and with animals. She is very kind and takes into account everyone’s various emotions and feelings. She is in tune with animals in this regard as well. She senses their emotions. Ashley has a very big heart and is one of the nicest people I know. She is also very responsible. An example of this is from the past two summers as she worked as a TA at a theater camp. Each day she came prepared to teach various dances and songs to all of the students. Students really respected her. Ashley is a great compassionate and loving individual. Her ability to connect with people, animals and her work ethic makes her a perfect person to care for pets.”

Ash M.

“Yogi and I love Ash she is attentive and knowledgeable with sensitive dogs. Are keeper for sure for us!”

Owen B.
“Owen was the perfect sitter….low key, relaxed yet organized and disciplined. He showed great respect and care for our large property, our dog, Sunny and our chickens. We received daily videos and photos along with updates. When we returned we were so happy to find clean linens on the bed, freshly cleaned surfaces and floors and a very healthy happy dog. Owen even left us a sweet note and gift. But the ultimate gift was the training that he gave Sunny. She is calm, barks less and is now friends with our chickens. He clearly cares about animals and also takes responsibility seriously. This was our first time using THS and we are absolutely delighted. It’s the best feeling feeling to know our home and pets are happy and well-cared for when we are away. Thank you Owen, we will definitely be calling on you again when we travel. We are grateful.”

Ana Belén R.

“Ana was wonderful with my dog Bea. I would definitely hire her again and highly recommend her to others.”
