About: Hello, my name is Kimberli, I am 32 years old and I am working on building a business doing what I love, working with and meeting all your animal care needs! I have 16 years of experience being around many different kinds of animals, most house pets and some farm animals! I really enjoy the outdoors, so if it's possible we will always go out to play! I have experience with training dogs and cats! I also have experience with special needs animals! I am confident and comfortable administering medications, trimming nails, or giving baths if needed or desired! My intention is to provide your pet with a relaxing and homey experience, while you are away! I work part time, my schedule is super flexible, so I can spend all of my free time taking care of all your animal care needs, walking dogs, or just keeping your cats company! I am unable to care for any animals at my home! At your home I'll fulfill all animal care needs, including walking in the neighborhood!
“Brighid exudes calm capabilities and a gentle nature. Our senior pup loved her constant companionship while we were away. She left our home tidy and even washed the sheets and remade the bed she slept in. Who does that! She was quick with communication and sent us feedback during our trip. I’d happily hire her again!!”

About: I have had experience with dog and cat sitting since I was young, both with my own pets as a child, as well as with neighbor’s pets. When other kids my age were becoming babysitters, I was the neighborhood pet sitter. I have taken care of pets of all ages, shapes, sizes, and breeds, primarily in their personal home, by feeding them, brushing them, taking them out on walks, making sure they always had fresh water, and giving them love. I also have had pets of my own (dogs, cats, turtles) since I was born, and have a deep love of animals. I work as a private practice therapist in Livingston, and have flexible time each day for checking on pets and taking dogs on walks. I do have pets of my own that deserve a comfortable, stable home, so any sitting I do will be in a pets own home and not boarding in mine. I currently have my dogs bi-monthly, and in the months I have my dogs, staying overnight to sit for other pets will be unavailable. The months I do not have my dogs, I will be able to stay overnight in your home and sit for your pets for as long as you need me. Most of my experience comes from pet sitting in other people’s homes, and I am very clean and detail oriented. If I ever have questions or concerns, I communicate quickly and effectively. I am happy to crate your pets, help with continued training, and keep your normal schedule to my best ability for stability and trust for your pet. My largest dog is 85 pounds and is quite strong, so I do have experience walking larger dogs, though I request honesty about any information that should keep safety a priority on a walk (such as personality traits around other dogs and people, pulling on walks, avoidance of areas, etc).
“Lorraine is awesome! She immediately bonded with my two picky pooches and took great care of them, including letting them sleep with her. She also kept me informed with pictures and texts throughout her stay. When I got back, the house was spic and span. Would definitely hire her again.”

“Racheal was fantastic with our two boys. They are both rescue pups and can be quite difficult, including getting comfortable with new people. That said, they took an early liking to Racheal and had a great time with her. We will absolutely be reaching out to Racheal again in the future when we need someone to stay with the boys.”

“Very kind gentlemen that clearly love animals. We went to a football game and left our Buddy 5 months old, Aussiedoodle. They took pictures and texted the entire 10 hours we were gone...If im back in Phx I'd for sure look them up. This was first game using Rover.”

“Lilli kept our dog for a week at our house. She did an amazing job. Gave our doggo lots of exercise and companionship. We came back to a happy dog and a clean house. I have no hesitations in recommending her!”

About: WFH dog lover seeking four-legged coworker 🐕🐾 I spend my weekdays working from home and would love a four-legged coworker to join me. Your pup will enjoy mid day walks, play breaks, and lots of cuddles in between meetings. I’m home all day, so there’s no long stretches alone. Whether your dog is energetic and loves adventure walks or is more of a cuddle-on-the-couch type, I’m happy to match their vibe. I live in a two bedroom apartment by myself, so there would be plenty of space for your pup to play or lounge. I am also available to dogsit and available for drop in walks! I like to get active on the weekends and would love a dog buddy to run and hike with.
“We needed a someone to watch after Lily who has separation anxiety, and gets lonely when we leave for an extended time. It was so nice that Shannon was there, as well as her sweet dog Wrangler. I’m sure lily was relieved to have their company! And I was put at ease that she was in good hands. Shannon is very reliable, clean and friendly. She even watered my plants. I would recommend her to anyone!”

About: Even though dogs have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I am fairly new to the animal care world. All I can really say is that I will get along with your companion more than you probably. Animals understand me and I understand them. My goal is to be a shoulder to lean on for your pet. I will give them exercise, loving, treats, or just a warm place to snuggle. What ever your pet needs to get through the day, week, or month until your celebrated return. Like I said before my life purpose is your furry friend. I am working towards being available every day of the week. I find a joy in being with animals so why not make it my full time job. I am really flexible, so let me know what you need and I will most likely be able to make it work. I am open to all clients wishes. My services very depending on what the client needs . I have a vehicle that can fit most if not all species and breeds. Crating your animal will be no problem if desired. I love to play fetch, walk, brush, wrestle, read to, just cuddle. Really what ever your animal needs I am willing to do.
“John is the best!! Have had him over to watch our dog three times and everytime has been a great experience. Always leaves the house tidy, takes great care of our dog, and the piece of mind having him at our house is well worth it! Highly recommend John! 😁”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Livingston
Lorraine was a fantastic pet/house sitter. She took great care of our dog, two cats, horse, chickens, flowers/plants and home. She was really great with our dog who we had never left before. He was very comfortable and happy with Lorraine. The place was clean and tidy when we returned. Would most definitely book with Lorraine again. Thank you!

Bianca did a great job looking after our dog on short notice. We'd absolutely recommend her to anyone in the area or passing through. Our dog is a rescue and skittish and she was able to build trust and make sure she was cared for when we were away. Many thanks, Bianca!

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Livingston walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Livingston maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Livingston choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
