Growing up, my family had 2 gorgeous akitas which I cared for with the help of my brother their entire lives. I am so grateful to have never experienced life without dogs and I can't imagine life without a them now, but being a college student makes it difficult to have my own. To solve this problem, I downloaded Rover! I may not be able to have my own dog, but I'd love to take care of yours! I have experience taking care of dogs at all stages of life. I have been thoroughly involved in training puppies for my family members (just the basics: house training, sit, shake, recall, etc.) and took a brief dog psychology lesson my freshman year of college, so puppies are absolutely no problem for me! I also assisted in caring for my family dogs their whole lives, giving me experience with larger breeds and with senior dogs as they got older. Right now, I'm a student at Montana State University. I do have class throughout the day, but typically I have a break for a few hours earlier in the afternoon. I also have a job in the evenings, so unfortunately I can't give dogs who need constant supervision or attention the time they need. I still have plenty of time for independent, lower maintenance pups :) With the breaks in my schedule, I am available to drop by (roughly) 3 times a day while you're gone. I am an avid hiker, and am more than happy to take your babies on walks as long as they're comfortable with, whether that means an 8 mile trek through the woods or just a walk around the block.

About: I am a big animal lover and I love spending time with them. I have 3 dogs, 2 cats and a little hobby homestead. I work from home and I am available to spend time with your doggy. During the day, I let the dogs out as many times as they need, we take a longer lunch break together and have fun in the backyard. I have a lot of experience taking care of doggies and other pets. I grew up with animals and I love them all. Your dog will be treated as my own and will get spoiled at my place. A Day With Me Your pet will spend the day with me and my three small, friendly dogs! I am working from home full time, so your pup will have plenty of company, attention, and supervision throughout the day. The mornings start with a potty break and some playtime in the backyard. Around 9 AM, I start work from my home office, and your pet is welcome to hang out with me while I work. Around noon, we usually take a short walk or head outside for some playtime. After that, your pup can relax in the backyard or come back inside and keep me company in my office. My dogs are pretty attached to me and usually won’t stay outside without me anyway! 😊 Around 3 PM, I pick up the kids from school, and the dogs come along with me. It’s just part of my normal daily routine. In the evenings, I usually spend some time outside taking care of my little homestead and animals. The dogs get plenty of time to enjoy the backyard, play, and explore while I’m outside with them. Your dog will become part of my daily routine and my family while they’re staying with me. I’ll care for your dog as I would my own—with lots of attention, patience, and love—and do my very best to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy throughout their stay. Half of my backyard is fenced in and it is around 5” tall. I am in a quiet neighborhood with only 7 houses and a private road.

About: I have been dog sitting for about 5 years, I can manage medications or any needs your dog needs. I have one dog who is super friendly and gets along with any dogs!! I have sat in peoples houses and have kept them in my own. I take my dog on at least one walk a day and would make sure your dog got outside and has lots of play time! I have a dog of my own and I take her on a walk or throw to her daily! I let her out every 3-6 hours, and am available for different schedules! My dog is well trained but I let her on furniture and my bed. I would be willing to adjust based on each dogs needs. I live in the basement of a home and have plenty of room for a crate and some extra paws!

About: I’ve had personal owner experience with dogs of different breeds, sizes, and reactivity levels. My own dog was reactive to people and dogs before going through training. He passed a year ago and I’m hoping to help out other dog parents on here while also getting some much needed puppy time! I’m looking to get outside and love your dog like my own! I work part time, so I have a lot of extra time and flexibility in my schedule to walk or check in on your pets! I would give at least least 2 walks a day. I would offer other enrichment activities we can do at home, for example my dog always liked treats tied in a towel that he’d have to unravel. I would personalize anything to fit what the animal needs!

About: Growing up with over 6 dogs, I have taken care of various breeds from a young age. I absolutely adore dogs and all animals. I work remotely and my schedule is very flexible so you can expect that your dog will receive frequent walks and potty breaks. I’ve had my own dog Zula, a French bulldog, for 7 years. I love to go on long walks and would be happy to run with your dog if that is something that they would enjoy. What to expect from my schedule : A morning walk, potty breaks every 2-4 hours (whatever works best for your pup), an afternoon walk and a longer evening walk. My apartment is very dog friendly as I have had my French bulldog living with me for over 3 years. She absolutely loves to play and is very friendly. Dogs are welcome on my couch/ furniture.
