“Sara was lovely! Easy to work with and great communication. She made friends with our very shy kitty which means the world to us! Our cats were very well cared for by her. We will use Sara’s services again in the future!”

“Bobbi was very communicative and reliable with check ins on my dog. She did great with my senior rescue who is usually very timid and shy, but she got out her out for two walks a day! Will definitely book with Bobbi again!”

“Wonderful personalities that our dogs already adore after 1 meet and greet and one appointment. Will definitely be at the top of our list for upcoming services. Thank you!!!”

“Stacy did a great job for us with stopping in to let our dogs out when we had an overnight away. She sent pics & an update each time, made sure they got their meds correctly at night & left everything closed up & secure when she left. I hope she will consider watching our dogs again because we would love to have her!”

“Monica (and her adorable daughter) came to our house to check on our dog and give her a little exercise while we were gone. I was impressed by how quickly our nervous dog seemed to warm up to them when we met, she liked them right away. They took notes on how to care for her, asked great questions, and it was obvious that they very much wanted to do a good job and have all important information. During their walks Monica sent information and pictures which were much appreciated. We have a few more day trips planned and I hope that Monica and her daughter have openings because I will definitely be contacting them first!”

“Thanks again for taking great care of Luna & Marci! Travis has been watching my dogs for years before he joined the Rover platform and my dogs always love to see him. Glad he made the move to Rover - just makes it even better having booking, payment, communication all in one convenient app.”

“We are so happy to have found Jenny to care for our dogs while we’re away! She is very punctual and communicative. We loved receiving pictures of our fur babies from her every time she visited. She is very friendly and warm. Our dogs, who are normally wary of new people, both fell in love with her instantly. She didn’t even seem to mind that they are a little naughty and like to jump up on people when they first come in. We will definitely be requesting Jenny again in the future. Even when her whole neighborhood flooded while we were gone, she was putting on her boots and ready to WALK to our house to check in on our doggos. So even in a natural disaster, you can depend on Jenny to be there for your animals while you’re away.”

About: I have experience caring for a wide variety of animals at various ages/health levels/behavioral attitudes. I see every animal as an individual requiring specific care and love to learn about what makes them each unique. I grew up caring for chickens, had a dog in agility, along with a pet parakeet. I lived in Myanmar during peace corps and quickly became known as the "cat house" because all the stray cats would go in and out of my house--and I ended up caring for 3 litters of kittens alongside the mothers (thankfully getting them both spayed). I've done some fostering and overnight pet-sitting, and would meet your pets needs wherever they're at! I currently would be most available Thursday evenings-Tuesday mornings, with some flexibility. I do have a full-time job at the moment, and will be far more available part-way through the summer I only provide care in the pets' habitats as I can't guarantee my cats would get along with all animals, but I promise to leave the house looking the same as it did when I came in, use the appropriate leash/harnesses on walks, and keep litter boxes clean.

About: I have been around dogs my entire life and I can’t imagine a home without one! Growing up, I helped care for our family dog whether it was walking, feeding, playing, or giving them all the love and belly rubs they needed. Whenever my parents were away, I was the one they trusted to take over completely. Over the years, I’ve also looked after dogs for my relatives and neighbors who trusted me to care for their dogs just like my own. Whether it’s a quick walk, some playtime, or keeping up with a routine while you’re away, I treat every dog like family. I’m happy to offer flexible scheduling to accommodate your needs! I’m free weekdays for walks and drop-in visits. I’m willing to work with you for what you and your pet’s specific needs are. In a client’s home, I always aim to keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible whether that’s feeding schedules, potty breaks, walk times, or playtime. I know pets feel most comfortable in familiar surroundings, so I take the time to follow your instructions carefully and give your pet the attention, affection, and structure they are used to. I always make sure pets are safe, hydrated, and never left unattended for too long.

“Madeaya was great! She came over before my vacation to meet me and my cats, and I was able to show her what needed to be done. What was most impressive was when Madeaya couldn’t find one of my cats during her visit, she went back again later in the afternoon to make sure my Ragdoll was ok ((Sofi came out of hiding in the afternoon to greet her). I am so thankful to have found a friendly, caring, and responsible caregiver for my “fur babies” when I am out of town.”

About: I love to walk, so active dogs who also love it are perfect for me! I am adventurous and am up for longer walks if the weather is favorable for the pup. Learning a pets personality means a lot to me, so that I am able to tend to their wants and needs. I am very patient with young, adult, or senior pets. Enrichment is very important to their happiness and I am happy to provide that for them. Although i’m not a professional trainer. I am capable of teaching simple commands and will encourage commands that are taught. I have plenty of time to spare, given I just got back from a month long trip and need some time to settle back in to my daily life. For the next while I will have plenty of availability. What better way to spend my time? I always carry treats on me for play, learning time, or just being the best pup/kitty. In a clients home I am more than repectful of said requirements. I will always make sure your baby gets their meal on time, and always has water. I will always clean up after them. They will never get bored, all of my attention will be focused on them to ensure they are always engaged while you’re gone. My goal is to make you and most importantly your babies happy, because then I am too!

“Aisha was great with my girls. Took them for walks, played, and kept me updated on how they were doing. My one is a very fussy eater and she took the time to make sure she ate. She stayed in home and left my house in good shape. Will look forward to using her sevices again.”

About: Former employee at a doggy day care who made to ensure dogs are taken care of and trained. Also grew up around animals both cats and dogs my entire life! I currently only work two days a week at a salon. Tuesday and Wednesday. I am very flexible and willing to accommodate any and all schedules. I always make sure animals are fed walked and played with when animal sitting or if they have any additional medication/accommodations I double make sure they are taken care of. Any extra bathing nail trimming or longer walks I love to do as well.

About: I’ve been around animals since I was 8 years old, when my family adopted a miniature schnauzer. Even before then, we had everything from hamsters to fish and the like, kid pets, ya know? Following our dog’s passing, I’ve helped care for a senior cat that my parents had and also three different orange cats that my wife and I have shared over the last three years! Being a cat owner, there isn’t too much of my non-work daily or weekly schedule that isn’t taking care of them: cleaning the litter box, keeping their automatic feeder and water filled, giving them wet food and playing with them! Caring for your cats animals as I have in the past will fight right in with my schedule, and I can’t wait to work with you! I always make sure to take myself on a walk daily, and I’d love to take your best friend with me! I get in 1-2 miles daily, but I am willing to adjust this to fit your pets needs. In your home I’d love to feed, spend time and play with, and care for your pet.

About: I adore dogs! I have had a dog since I was born. He was easily my best friend. I would take him to daily walks, pick up his business, give him food and water and of course, treats and lots and lots of playtime! Most importantly, I love to dog sit for my friends. I think it's so important that each dog is loved and feels special. I am currently working part-time, so nights and weekends work best! I typically get done with work mid afternoon, so closer to dinner time is even better. When I am caring for pets are owner's home, I plan to be there with the pet the whole time. However long of a walk you need, I will do it! You can trust me to keep feeding schedules on time, clean up after your pet and tucker your pet out with plenty of play time.

About: I’ve had dogs in my family ever since I was a kid! I always love going on hikes and being around them! I always have had experience with multiple dogs of all sizes! I work Monday through Friday 8-4:30 starting June 2nd! Depending on my weekend schedule I can do weekend walks or walks any day after 4:30. I am very aware with the dogs and make sure they are safe on walks! I will make sure they have fun along with getting good activity in!

Little Chute pet parents share their Rover experiences
Monica has been excellent at taking care of my new puppy Winnie. Winnie is a typical three month old golden retriever with so much energy. Monica has walked with Winnie in a front pack at times because her legs can’t keep up with the other dogs. I feel very comfortable with Monica taking care of Winnie while I am away at work.

Josh does a fantastic job watching Aspen. He always makes sure she enjoys his company and that she gets energy out. Josh also goes above and beyond, leaving detailed notes about his visits and takes plenty of pictures. I would highly recommend Josh to care for your dog.

Bobbi was beyond caring and attentive to my elderly fur baby, Albert. My rescue corgi is blind, elderly, and has attachment anxiety when I’m not around. It makes for kenneling him or planning any trips more difficult as he only does well in his known settings. Bobbi took time to meet Albert prior to when I left, at the last minute, as my travels were booked very shortly before I departed and asked many questions to ensure she knew how to properly care for him. Albert, surprisingly, warmed up to her almost immediately, so I knew she was the perfect fit. I’m beyond impressed with how she not only adjusted to make Albert feel comfortable but went above and beyond to expand his comfort zone. She will always be my go-to!
