About: Hi there! My name is Ayslinn, pronounced “eyes-linn”, but you can also call me River. Growing up in a home where my mom was a dog groomer, I was always surrounded by dogs and learned from a young age how to care for them with love and patience. Over the years, I’ve helped friends train their dogs, including a lively husky, and I’ve worked with many different breeds, from tiny lap dogs to big, high-energy pups. I also have experience caring for puppies and nervous dogs, providing gentle patience to help them feel safe and comfortable. My focus is always on making sure every pet gets the exercise, attention, and affection they deserve. Whether it’s a playful puppy, a shy companion, or an energetic dog who loves long walks, I treat every pet like family. I work full-time Monday through Thursday from 5:30am to 3:30pm, so my primary availability is on weekends. Throughout October I won’t be available after 5:00pm as I’ll be working weekend nights. I’m open for walks, and pet sitting throughout the weekend during the day and can occasionally do evenings after 4:30pm on weekdays if needed. Just let me know what you need, and I’ll do my best to accommodate. I can’t host dogs in my apartment, but I provide safe, reliable care in your home so your pup feels comfortable in their own space. I follow your routines closely, whether that’s feeding, walking, or crate training, and I’m experienced with many breeds, puppies, and nervous dogs. I’m also comfortable with special instructions like giving medications or sticking to unique schedules, and I’ll keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages so you know your pet is happy and well cared for.

“Danielle continues to be absolutely amazing with our puppy. We are comfortable knowing he is in such good hands with her and would highly recommend Danielle to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy dog walker!”

“Theo and Julian are great to work with. They were very responsive. I appreciated the flexibility for meet and greet and first drop in. The pictures and notes were excellent! I'll definitely rebook with Theo.”

“This is the second time Anna has dropped in to care for Oliver in my absence. I appreciate how kinds she is and how well she relates to my cat. As before, she was very attentive to detail, communicated daily about her visits and left the place clean and tidy. She is my go-to person for cat care!!”

“Heather was an amazing sitter for our 11 yr old PORTY! Oreo loved meeting her and they hit it off immediately. I reached out to Heather for a drop in a few days prior and she was accommodating and was great about sharing messages and photos on her visit-Oreo loved her walk and we will certainly use her again!”

About: I’ve been a dedicated pet owner for over 9 years and have hands-on experience caring for dogs of different personalities and needs. I currently care for my own dog, handling daily responsibilities like feeding, walking, bathing, and making sure they stay happy, healthy, and active. In addition to caring for my own pet, I’ve spent several years helping friends and family with their dogs. I regularly provide drop-in visits while they’re on vacation, making sure their pets are well-fed, comfortable, and get plenty of attention. I also take dogs on walks, keep up with their routines, and ensure they feel safe and cared for while their owners are away. I treat every pet like my own, with patience, love, and attention to detail. Whether it’s a quick check-in or a longer visit, I’m committed to providing reliable, trustworthy care and giving pet owners peace of mind. I am a student at WPI, so I am currently looking for summer work. I will be available every weekday early mornings to mid/late afternoon. I am willing to be flexible on my time availability and the amount of visits I can do depending on what the client is looking for. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for any pet. I always take the time to understand each pet’s routine, needs, and personality to make sure they feel comfortable and secure. In a client’s home, I respect your space and follow all instructions closely. Whether that’s feeding schedules, walk routines, medications, or specific house rules. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while maintaining the environment they’re used to. I also keep a close eye on their behavior and well-being and will update you regularly for peace of mind. When walking or caring for pets, I prioritize safety by keeping dogs securely leashed, avoiding unsafe situations, and staying aware of surroundings at all times. Overall, I aim to create a calm, loving, and dependable experience so both you and your pet feel completely at ease while you’re away.

About: I’ve been an animal lover my entire life and currently care for three cats and a dog of my own, so I’m no stranger to feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and the occasional pet with a mind of its own. I also regularly care for my grandmother’s cats whenever she’s away, giving me experience looking after pets that aren’t my own. I know every pet has their own personality, and I enjoy getting to know what makes each one happy and comfortable. Whether your pet wants an adventure, a game of fetch, or just someone to relax with, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. My goal is simple: to give you peace of mind while making sure your pet has a great time. I work for USPS, but I keep my Rover calendar updated so you’ll always know when I’m available. On my days off and during my free time, I love spending time with animals. Whether your pet needs a walk, a drop-in visit, or some extra attention while you’re away, I’ll be there on time and make sure they receive the care, exercise, and affection they deserve. Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priorities. I’ll always follow your care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications, walks, and any special routines. I understand that every pet is different, so I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands.
“Samantha was great! She took great care of my two kitties and sent great pictures. Even my shy cat that never comes out for strangers came right out for her. Will definitely use her again!”

“Chuck did a nice job understanding the needs of my dog. He came over earlier to meet and take notes for the visits. I appreciated the many pictures and thorough updates. I would highly recommend Chuck, especially if you have a larger dog.”

About: Dogs have always been a part of my life. From growing up with dogs, to working with them, they've always been there. I'm a formally trained groomer who has worked in various places around New England. My specially was working with puppies and dogs with anxiety. Both of those need extra patience and time to keep them safe, comfortable, and to make it the best experience possible. I've also worked for a doggy daycare, have done at home walks, and have a number of years experience with housesitting dogs of all ages. I'm a stay at home mom with two young kids, one in school, one will be going in the fall. We spend plenty of time in our yard, getting fresh air and sun. I have a large yard, unfenced, and a good sized home with plenty of space. There are stairs in the front to get upstairs, but no stairs by the backdoor, making it easy for dogs with mobility issues to come inside.
“Jessica was caring and attentive to our kitties! She was able to modify some instructions when my kitten wasn’t eating as well and was very communicative with updates. Thanks, Jessica!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
