“She is amazing! What more can I say? My dogs both love her, and one of them is reactive and can be quite difficult. But they both love her and that puts me at ease knowing they are happy and well cared for.”

“Christina was a great spot for Theodore. He ate better than he ever has at a boarder and the photos Christina took of Theodore while we were away were great. She dod great administering his meds for an ear infection he came down with just before we left. I highly recommend Christina.”

“Simon was so nice and welcoming, and my dogs seemed very happy. I got a bunch of pictures showing me how comfortable and at home my dogs felt from the first moment. We will certainly call Simon when we are in the area again!”

“Katie was excellent! Professional, thoughtful, patient, and communicative. We boarded our cat with her, and she did a wonderful job acclimating him to a new space and monitoring his adjustment, and making sure his needs were met. Would love to use her for our next trip.”

“Natalie was so great with our dog Kooper. She provide updates & pictures while we were away. We would recommend her & plan on having her again in the future. Thank you!!! Sherry & Richard”

“Mya had a wonderful stay at Sri’s while i was out of town. I could tell that Sri has a lot of experience with dogs and loves having them around! will definitely book with Sri again next time i am in need of a sitter!”

“Emily and Kieran were so great with Chewy! I met with them and Leon leading up to the booking which was great so that our dogs met ahead of time. They sent periodic updates which was awesome and put me at ease. It was a wonderful first experience using Rover.”

“My little guy King stayed with Molly for 5 nights. He's usually very shy with humans at first, but he seemed to have a great time while staying there, which set me at ease. He got to meet other doggos and make other friends too. He loves being able to roam and play in a fenced yard, so that was a plus! Molly kept me posted on Kings daily activities and how he was doing, and also sent me pics daily! King always looked like he was having so much fun! Definitely made me worry less about leaving him for more than a few days. The coziness and warm vibe in their house made me feel good about having King stay with them... I'd definitely use Molly again for daycare or boarding for my sweet King!”

About: I have experienced with a variety of pets - my own, petsitting, and volunteering with shelter cats! I’ve cared for animals young and old, shy and bold, and treat them all like my own. Services I provide: - Cat drop-ins - Small to medium dog walks and drop-ins - Small animal drop-ins, as well as hosting in my home on a case by case basis (in a room inaccessible to my cats). I have experience with bunnies, reptiles, and small rodents! I have a full-time job, but I work from home and have a flexible schedule, so I can almost always make a drop-in visit work! I’ll ALWAYS hit the necessities: food, clean water, playtime, pets, and a clean litter box for cats (I feel very strongly about this last one - I won’t leave your home without scooping!) Since I’m petite, I only work with small to medium dogs. I want to make sure that both me and your pup stay safe on our walks together, so I feel that it’s important to stay within my comfort zone! I’m happy to have some playtime with your dog in a fenced yard as well.
“Flo had an awesome time with Rebecca. This was my pup's 2nd visit with Rebecca this summer. She gets lots of attention, exercise, and love. I loved my photos and videos from the visits as well.”

“Kathleen and Dylan were great to work with and took wonderful care of our pug- taking her to the beach and on walks on the prom. She looked really happy in the daily photos - the updates were welcome. Their golden is super sweet. Big thanks to Kathleen and Dylan!”

“Jessica was awesome with my pups! It was last minute and a puppy 4 months old with lots of energy. When I pulled in to pick them up and they were out playing with the kids I knew I made the right choice. She made me feel as though I could enjoy my weekend away and that the dogs would be fine. This was my first time using a sitter and couldn't have asked for better!”

“Emily is an excellent and caring cat sitter. She sent me daily photos and updates, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. My cats were very well cared for, and I truly appreciated her kindness and reliability. I would be happy to ask Emily to care for my cats again in the future.”

“Ali, Damien, kids and Bruce the dog were great! Very kind and caring family that took care of our pup Chase like he was part of their family. Chase had a wonderful time! Highly recommend!”

“Lindsay was so great! My two cats were only with her for a short stay but she was very responsive, sent updates with photos, and followed their care instructions incredibly precisely. My boys seemed to come back super comfortable and happy.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Lisbon Center home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Lisbon Center.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Lisbon Center sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in ME ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
