“Finding someone that you can trust that will care for and love your fur baby as you do can be challenging. We were able to find someone and more in Robin. From the moment we started taking to the meet and greet to leaving Remy with her for a few days was fantastic. Her communication was excellent and fast right from the beginning. We weren't gone long before she was already sending pictures which is something we said we would take any time.. throughout our few days away we received many updates and pictures and from the pictures we could see that Remy was very happy and being cared and loved just as we do. Robin's compassion to take care of and spend time with animals is very clear. Remy even seemed a little sad after we picked him up and brought him home like he missed her and her fun dog Stella. We can't recommend Robin enough and we will definitely be using again!”

Natalie worked at a Humane Society in college, and Tim fostered dogs (and was a “failed foster” parent) for many years before we moved to Maine with our two doggies, Penny & Willa. We spend lots of time taking our dogs and dogs who we sit for to local nature trails in Cumberland or enjoying fetch with the Chuck-It in our large backyard. Our home is kid-free, and we will treat your pups like our own! Tim works from home, and Natalie is a full-time graduate student with a flexible schedule. Your dogs will be home with either or both of us for the majority, if not the entire time! We have a large yard (1.5 acres) on a quiet street in a very dog-friendly neighborhood. Although our yard is not physically fenced, we do have an electric fence that could work for your dog if they are trained on this at your home! We are happy to crate your dogs - we’re even happy to have them in our bedroom and on the couch if they prefer!

As a teen, my family rescued a young cat named Bella off the streets when she was about 6 months old and she became the absolute love of my life. Years later, my family welcomed two kittens into the home while Bella was already a senior cat, so I've experienced the full range, from raising playful kittens to caring gently for an older, more settled cat. That mix taught me how differently cats communicate depending on their age and personality, and how important it is to respect their boundaries rather than force interaction. I'm experienced with the litter box and maintenance, as well as following specific feeding schedules and special diets. My ideal work will involve helping families care for their pets when they can't be there to care for them themselves. I have been in this position with my pets several times and know how stressful it can be to trust somebody that you don’t know to care for your dog or cat family member. About: My entire life has always revolved around animals. As a lifelong equestrian, I’ve grown up taking care of horses and dogs of all shapes and sizes. Previously a barn manager, I’m now a pet & equine photographer. That means when I’m not at a horse show or photoshoot, I’m at my desk at home with my own two senior dogs curled underneath. My years in the horse world and now with senior dogs has taught me how to apply topical medication, give injections and oral meds, and how to recognize and redirect problematic behavior. Staying with me is like a country retreat for your pet - walks through the forest and sunsets and squirrel watching from the deck. If you're lucky, you might even get some professional photos out of it. As a self-employed pet photographer, I work from home when I’m not at a horse show or photo shoot. This gives me lots of flexibility day to day and during the day. I like to let dogs approach me as they feel comfortable and understand that dogs are capable of a wide range of personalities. In my home, well behaved and responsive dogs may be allowed off-leash outside as we have plenty of space far from the nearest road. If you have kitties, let's do a meet-n-greet to ensure it's a good fit. Reach out with any questions! At my home: I have a 4 ft fenced-in yard for play time, which turns into an at-home dog park when Marcy has a visitor. Note that the fence isn't foolproof for an escape artist or high jumper. Dogs are allowed throughout the house and on couches, if they choose. Sleeping arrangements are flexible, especially knowing visiting pups can sometimes feel more comfortable sleeping in bed with a human. Marcy is crate-trained, and I have a large crate in case your pup needs a designated safe space.

I have been working professionally with dogs for around a year now. I worked in a doggy daycare setting for 6 months, and have been working at a shelter ever since! These experiences have given me knowledge in how to better understand body language, social cues, behaviors, and fear free handling. Even before professional experience, I have been one of the primary caretakers to our family dogs, medicating, feeding, training, etc, is no foreign task to me:) I understand how stressful it is to trust a random person to take care of your animals, but I promise to care for your animal with the same patience, attention, and love, I give my own:) I currently have a completely open schedule, so I’m available most days and times! Whether you need early mornings, evenings, weekends, or last minute care, I’m happy to work with your schedule whenever possible. If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I’m happy to follow their normal routine as closely as possible. Whether that means long walks around the neighborhood, playtime in the yard, sticking to a feeding schedule, administering basic care, or simply providing companionship and cuddles, I’ll make sure they’re cared for exactly the way you would. About: Experienced dog owner with 3 dogs. Two dogs are reactive/timid, one of which has allergies and pancreatic issues so I am familiar with pilling and dogs with special needs. I just graduated law school and took the bar and am awaiting results. I will start my full-time job in mid October so my availability will decrease. Katie was great i'm about community back and forth about anything that she may have had questions about or vice versa. She also went out of her way and helped scoop out our cat's litter and clean up that area that they had made a mess while we were away. About: I have two years of pet-sitting experience, mostly for family and friends, along with volunteer work at animal shelters. As a lifelong animal lover, I’ve always had dogs and cats, often multiple at a time. Currently, I care for 4 dogs and 4 cats, though when pet-sitting, each pet will be separated for their comfort and safety. I’m passionate about providing a loving, safe environment for your pets! I’m currently Working part-time, so i’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups. I’m mostly available on the weekends or anytime after 1 pm on weekdays! I have a fenced in back yard, outside of that a very large yard to play in. I have 4 dogs myself but they are gated off and will be on a different floor than any pet I am sitting. This will ensure all the pets are safe and comfortable. Your pet would be with me in our downstairs area with plenty of room to play inside and outside.

My ideal work will involve helping families care for their pets when they can't be there to care for them themselves. I have been in this position with my pets several times and know how stressful it can be to trust somebody that you don’t know to care for your dog or cat family member. I have always had dogs and cats as part of my family, including special needs pets. I currently have one dog with special needs (IVDD and reactivity.) I would be happy to talk with you to see if I can meet the needs of you and your pet. Because I am retired I am fairly flexible with my schedule. However, due to my own pet , I am not available for overnight care or boarding. In addition, I travel a fair amount. So, I am best suited for occasional/one time/short term or fill-in type jobs. I currently have a dog who has physical limitations and reactivity. Because of this, I am unable to board a dog or cat in my home. I am also not available to overnight pet sit in your home.

About: Hi! We’re Natalie and Tim, and we have both had dogs our entire lives. Natalie worked at a Humane Society in college, and Tim fostered dogs (and was a “failed foster” parent) for many years before we moved to Maine with our two doggies, Penny & Willa. We spend lots of time taking our dogs and dogs who we sit for to local nature trails in Cumberland or enjoying fetch with the Chuck-It in our large backyard. Our home is kid-free, and we will treat your pups like our own! Tim works from home, and Natalie is a full-time graduate student with a flexible schedule. Your dogs will be home with either or both of us for the majority, if not the entire time! We have a large yard (1.5 acres) on a quiet street in a very dog-friendly neighborhood. Although our yard is not physically fenced, we do have an electric fence that could work for your dog if they are trained on this at your home! We are happy to crate your dogs - we’re even happy to have them in our bedroom and on the couch if they prefer!
