About: I love dogs and have enjoyed working with them in many capacities since I was a child and formally for over 15 years. I am a Canine Good Citizen evaluator and have spent years training loving companions. I am certified in Canine CPR and First Aid by the American Red Cross and undergo annual recertifications to stay current on the latest first-aid procedures. I also have experience administering both oral medications and injections. Before your pups stay, we have each family fill out a form for their furry companion. This helps us get to know them better in order to make their stay easier. I have no breed preference and are familiar with handling working canines.  Your pup is welcome in our home, and our couch is open to your furry pooch.  However, I also understand there are dogs who prefer to be outside and are not easily accommodated indoors. I also have covered outdoor runs for those families who still need a vacation but whose pups enjoy more fresh air and natural surroundings. I am happy to accommodate each family's preference. No matter what, canines are treated to lots of exercise and playtime. I wake up and start the day off with morning let out. After each group has been let we come back in for feeding. Morning feedings normally allow for 30-45 minutes before letting out again for a potty break. They are brought back in, crated, and pups are rotated out for play inside throughout the day. I let out every 2-4 hours through the day or more if needed. I do have the option to add on trail walks for those who have social canines who are good with other dogs and people (I will not be introducing them to others but it is a requirement to the trail). In the evening we normally do the last feeding at 7 pm followed by yard play and starting to settle in. Last potty break is at 10 pm. Note: Although I am at home full time I do on occasion leave our home to run errands. Your dog can be left alone for up to 4 hours (max). If this is ever the case your pup will always be crated and secure. For your pup's safety They are never given free rein while unsupervised. I take the safety of your furry companion very seriously. Canines are let out for potty breaks every 2-4 hours (or as needed, if required more frequently). I have a fenced-in yard so your pup will be safe during potty breaks. I do not allow companions from other families to play with each other. This is a safety measure. Your pup can be under a lot of stress when you're gone and I want to make their stay as smooth and relaxing as possible. This doesn't mean I will not be playing with your pup ourselves! I love playing fetch, puzzle games, and even tug with them. I do allow for several outings in the house throughout the day so they can get plenty of one-on-one attention inside as well as extra pets. I have 5 acres that are attached to the national preserve. If your furry companion is social and enjoys walks, I have several trails I am happy to take them on upon request (weather permitting). All outings are on leash only.

About: I’ve taken dog training courses over the years. I did dog rescue; I had sick dogs, litters of puppies and dogs of all sizes in my home while raising my children and my dogs. I've done house sitting, walking, training for dogs and cats for years when I lived in California. I'm excited to meet you and your pets. I am comfortable with but not limited too walking, training, medication administration and always the addition of cuddles and love. I work for myself and work my own hours so I can always work around your schedule. I love the outdoors, nature and getting my steps in. When your pet is in my house, they'll be treated as a family member. If you prefer to crate your pet I can do that or create my dog. Pet safety is top priority at all times.

About: I have multiple years of in house boarding, leashed walking, and boarding kennel experience. I love to run and am available to take the most active doggos of 5k jogs, guaranteed to get out all of that energy and have the best naps after. I've cared for toy to extra large breeds as well as puppies and senior pets. I have a rescue pittie named JoJo, so bully breeds are my favorite, but any day caring for an animal is a great day! I am self employed and live a nomad lifestyle. I have a very flexible schedule and can accommodate pets that need more attention and care. I also offer running with your pet, best for high energy doggos. Having your pet stay in their home while you are away is the best way to keep them happy and at ease. I attend to their routines just as you do and ensure you have plenty of updates of how they are.

About: Ive taken care of animals for 2 year at a dog daycare, friends and family have relied on me, to walk, feed and bathe their pets… I’m currently not working, so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups! Im available for boarding on weekends, and on weekdays anytime I have a fenced in mini barn and three friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your dog if needed…

About: Never feel guilty again for leaving your pup home, while you’re at work bringing home the bacon! Rest easy on your vacation, long day (or night!) at work, or whatever the case may be: I’m always here for you. I absolutely love dogs and animals. I've had dogs all my life; I am very comfortable with all the different breeds of dogs. Throughout my childhood, I usually had anywhere between 2 to 3 dogs at any given time; at this point in my life I have two pets of my own. My oldest dog is a 5 pound Yorkshire Terriers named Denim age 10+. My second dog is a 10 pound Maltese Poodle named Windsor age 3+. I have a lot of help and support from my boyfriend Michael when it comes to taking care of our pups, so expect a dynamic duo when it comes to your pets. I am currently enrolled in college and I am actively working on finishing my second Associates’ degree in Interior Design, graduation date Spring 2020. From there I plan on finishing my Bachelors in Fine Arts in Interior Architecture expected graduation date 2022. I am a very active person I go on long walks, hikes, jogs, and runs so your dog will be perfect company for me. We can go on leashed walks throughout Lake Thom-A-Lex Park or throughout my residential neighborhood. When staying at my house your dog will get plenty of tender, love, and care. They will have oodles of attention and fun. My goal is to tire them out so when it’s time to go home to you their ready for bed. I work from home so I will provide 24-hour supervision to your dog. I appreciate active communication and will provide regular updates and feedback on your pet. I welcome the same. I am a very responsible person, who is very reliable and understanding, I will accommodate the specific needs of both you and your dog. Working with Rover I have had the opportunity to care for an even greater variety of fur babies. I understand that dogs are part of your family and I would love to care for them as if they were part of my own. I have experience with dogs losing their sight and hearing.

About: I've taken care of pets since I was 13. Most of my experience is with cats and dogs. I have limited experience with snakes. I'm not afraid of spiders or bugs. I'm currently working full-time as a legal assistant, so I'm usually only available during the evenings and weekends. I'm usually home from work at around 6 pm and am available until 9 pm during the week. Fridays and Saturdays are generally open unless I have prior obligations. I don't work on Sundays. I can only pet sit at a clients home due to having 2 cats of my own. I go by whatever rules/guidelines they specifically have for me.

About: I've been surrounded by dogs of every kind my entire life, I have had 2 dogs and 3 cats. I enjoy working with dogs because I am an outdoor person who likes to go for runs and walks. I have been relied on by my friends and neighbors to come and spend time, feed, and walk their pets. I am currently enrolled at Catawba College, getting my masters degree, while competing on the beach volleyball team. All my classes are online and practice ranges from 7-8am, 11am- 1pm, and 5-6pm, but vary through the week. I have a fenced-in backyard for my 2-year-old Lab and I make sure that we keep the bedroom doors closed so I can always keep my eye on them.

About: I have grown up around all types of pets. In my childhood I rescued multiple dogs and our family rescued many, many, cats! I am very loving and caring and I treat every pet as it is my own. I like to first get to know them to see if I’d even be a good match for your pawesome friend! I have trained some dogs as puppies, taught them the basics as well as potty trained them. About: Hi. I'm Cheyanne. I have owned a variety of pets for about 5 years and have taken care of pets/animals a lot longer. I currently have sugar gliders, a dog, two cats and an assortment of reptiles. I have an Associate's degree in zoology from Davidson County Community College. I have had a passion for animals since I was a little kid and pride myself in taking the best care of any animal under my watch. I'm willing to watch dogs, cats, barn animals, and reptiles. I am able to do in home care taking at the pet owner's house, dog walks, and check ins during the day. I have given medications for a variety of animals, having experience through an internship the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center at the NC Zoo as well as giving medications to my own pets at home. If your pet needs medications, please give prior notice to discuss the situation. I'm currently available throughout the week. About: My name is Abigail, I have had dogs, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, birds, you name it! I love each and every pet and would be delighted to keep yours! I am a stay at home mom and have a lot of time on my hands as well as with my son that loves all animals as much as I do. we do tricks and have lots and lots of outside time playing fetch, throwing balls, and squeaky toys! brushed daily and taken on daily walks I love interacting with any kind of animals, and will show them more than enough attention. It has just been in my heart to always care for animals and i will make sure i meet all of their needs and wants!

About: I have volunteered and worked at two animal shelters taking care of dogs and cats, as well as working at two boarding facilities. I also have some experience with birds, reptiles and caged animals(like rabbits). I have experience bathing, brushing, keeping areas clean, administration of medicine, and cleaning protocols to ensure health of animals. I have even worked with deemed dangerous dogs, senior dogs, and puppies. I am now lucky enough to work from home, so I will be home almost all the time to take care of your fur babies, or go to your home. I do have a female German shepherd husky mix, and she absolutely loves other animals. I also have a cat, but if your dog is cat aggressive we can easily keep them seperated. I have an extra large crate, or of course if you want to bring your own crate you can. I am also able to keep your cat separated if need be! We don't have a fenced in yard, but there are multiple trails around that I take my dog to and are willing to take yours if you are comfortable with that! I have experience with crate training and will do anything you need me to do. If I am housesitting or staying for the day, I will take your dog out about every 4 hours or as needed.
