Experienced in all types of animal care (domestic & farm) I treat all animals as if they were my own. I have a passion for the care of senior or special needs pets. Medications, special feedings, vision & hearing impaired, anxious pets will all be attended to with experienced and loving care. I have years of in-home pet care experience and can also attend to routine details like watering & mail. It's my goal to make your pet feel happy, loved and safe in my care. I am available for morning, evening & overnight pet care any day of the week. I'm available for pet care any time of the day on weekends, holidays and some weekdays. I have a very flexible schedule. About: I've had dogs since I was 11 and I have my own puppy who I am owner-training. I can walk, bathe, do minimal training, or dog sit for you. I will work with you to be flexible around your dog's routine and my schedule. Let me know in advance what you need so I can work with you. I treat dogs like family. I understand how much our pets mean to us. I also have experience with ESAs and Service Dogs. I know how important your dog is to you and I will treat them like my own.

About: I have helped train and care for my own dogs since I was 8 years old. I have house sat, done drop in visits and walked dogs for neighbors and friends. Dogs always make me smile and I have done a lot of reading/research on how to train/care for your dog. I work part time so there is a lot of time in my day to care for dogs. I usually have a lot of time in the afternoon and the evening to feed them or walk them. I love to play with dogs and walk them. I am very active so I can do long walks with the dogs or just play some fetch. All dogs are different and need different types of attention and love.

“Caroline is incredibly helpful, responsible and great with animals. Our lab loved his walks with her and would be waiting by the door when we’d tell him “Caroline’s coming today”! We highly recommend her!”

About: Hi, I am a passionate dog lover. I have a miniature schnauzer that is well mannered around people and other dogs. I am well able to take your pet on long walks followed by plenty of play time. Their health and well being is also a top priority of mine, I will ensure to inspect their teeth, paws, and skin daily. It is not easy finding a pet sitter you can rely on, for that reason, I like to provide picture updates and notes to make sure you are comfortable and at ease on how your pet is doing. I can provide references from previous clients to support my care and love for dogs. It would be a pleasure for me to have the opportunity to care for your pet. I am available throughout the day to tend and care for your pet. Whether that be drop-ins, walks, or boarding needs. I can work with you to make sure we setup the right schedule. For drop-in clients, I am able to provide morning, afternoon, and evening visits. During my visit I will provide play time, water bowl checks, and feeding depending on the need of your pet. For boarding clients, I live in a large Townhome with a balcony that is readily accessible for your pet. I live by a nature trail that I will use for walks, play time, and just all around fresh air. If needed I am able to crate your pet to maintain your training processes. I will provide fresh water, scheduled feeding, and exercise.

About: I am a full time veterinary technician with a background in equine, livestock and boarding facilities so I am experienced in all types of pet care! I am equipped and comfortable in care for new puppies/kittens to our senior buds to exotics! I work full time but usually have 2-3 days off in a row as well as half days. Due to my job I am also able to take pets with me to work if needed. I care for each pet differently because they all have their own needs. I rely on the pet parents to let me know how best to care for their furry loved ones.

“Chantre is a great dog walker. My dog does not like many people, and he loves her. She is trustworthy, and is great with him. She has been available for last minute walks, and cares for her clients. She is top notch!”

About: I currently have a German Shepherd and a Standard Poodle, but have had dogs and other pets since I was a kid. I have been caring for other peoples pets for 30+ years. My children were in 4H and I worked in a pet shop some years ago. I have cared for dogs, cats, birds, lizards and snakes, chickens, sheep, dairy goats, and even a tarantula. I am comfortable caring for senior dogs and puppies and everything in between. I have a very flexible schedule and work from home. I’m available on holidays and weekends. I have the capability to deal with emergencies easily and will care for your pet like it was my own. I have reliable transportation and will send you photos and texts of your pet as I care for them. I will make sure your pet is safe while outside with me and under control at all times.

About: With over 15 years of caring for pets, I know the importance of taking care of each animal’s unique needs. I also know how being apart from our animals can create stress for both pet & owner. I am a patient and caring pet sitter and pet owner who is very mindful in my everyday life. I have a flexible schedule as I work remotely for myself; so I can accommodate both short term and longer term visits. I understand the importance of meeting each pet’s unique schedules. I am very mindful of the owner’s space. I make sure that every pet I care for has their needs met, and I am confident your pet will feel safe and secure during our time together.

About: Growing up surrounded by animals, I learned early how to meet the needs of dogs with all kinds of personalities and energy levels. My own 11-year-old Doberman is wonderfully needy, so I understand how important attention, affection, and play are for a pet’s happiness. Whether it’s keeping up with a high-energy pup or providing calm companionship for a senior dog, I make sure every pet feels cared for like family. I’m a recent college graduate looking for a part-time job that fits my flexible schedule while I continue searching for full-time employment, and pet care is a perfect fit. As a dog walker, I prioritize safety by using secure leashes, avoiding dangerous areas, and monitoring pets closely. I ensure fresh water, gentle handling, and a stress-free, loving environment.

About: When it comes to dogs or other animals, I am in it to complete the job thoroughly and professionally. I have had several different types of pets my entire life including dogs, cats, horses, sugar gliders, birds, reptiles, and bunnies. I’m OCD and if I weren’t surrounded by animals, life would be boring. I care for ANY animal no matter what. You can rest assured that they will be spoiled rotten in my care, within the guidelines that you provide. I am very careful when it comes to instructions given to me by owners and I carry out my duty that you have entrusted me with and I take it very seriously. You are in great hands and I would love the opportunity to be able to help you out. I work full time, M-F so if someone is able to have their animal let out in the middle of the day since I’m in Herndon for work, then I can be there for the animal in the morning and evening or overnight. I do what the owners ask of me in regards to their schedule and their needs. I usually travel to client home because I don’t have a home of my own that would allow more animals.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember. For the past seven years, I’ve cared for my wonderful three dogs - two Great Danes and one Beagle. Before that, I had two cats with wildly different personalities. Let’s have always been an important part of my life, and I truly understand the bond we share with them! When I care for someone else’s pet, I treat them with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own. I’m home from college for the summer and I am taking some online classes! I’m available early mornings, during the day, or overnight and I’m happy to work with you to find times that fit your needs! I prioritize each pets comfort, safety, and routine, learning their habits and needs. I follow care instructions closely and treat every pet with the same love and attention as my own!

Alyssa K.
“Alyssa dog sat for me and my family for nine days and when we came back, everything was perfect. The dogs were very well taken care of and everything seem to be in order. All the dogs had their medicine and had grooming when she was not at school. The longest that she was ever away from our dogs in the nine days was for school which at the time was about 3 to 4 hours and she continuously told me how bad she feels that the dogs are alone and I knew that when she got back to them, they were in good hands. She played with them outside in the yard and let them in and out at their requests. When we arrived back home and had Alyssa over for dinner to thank her for her overwhelming attention to our dogs, the dogs greeted her like a best friend which proved to us that she was responsible and very caring for animals. If you want somebody who is particular about how to take care of animals and willing to go the extra mile, she’s your girl.”

Shena S.

“Shena goes above And beyond for pets!! By far the best pet caretaker I’ve ever had”

Laurel J.
“Laurel is the kindest, most caring person you will ever meet! She is so good with animals and takes such good care of them! You will love her! She won’t let you down!”
