About: Hi! I’m a work-from-home mom of three amazing boys, and caring for animals has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up on a farm, so being around animals wasn’t just a hobby — it was a way of life. I’ve owned pets my entire life and have also fostered many dogs over the years, so my boys have grown up learning how to properly handle, respect, and love animals. We recently lost our sweet dog last year and are taking a little break from owning one, but our home feels happiest with paws around. Dog sitting allows us to share that love while giving your pup the attention and care they deserve. Because I work from home full time, your dog will rarely be alone and will get plenty of supervision, affection, and companionship throughout the day. We have a large single-family home with lots of space to relax. There’s a large fenced backyard for safe outdoor time, as well as a spacious front yard — but please know your dog will never be outside unsupervised. In our home, dogs are family. They’re welcome on the couch and even in the bed for snuggles at night if that’s what they’re used to. My boys love giving extra attention, playtime, and belly rubs — always guided by what your dog is comfortable with. Our family truly adores and respects animals, and we will care for your dog as if they were our own — with patience, structure, affection, and lots of love. I’d love to meet you and your pup! Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine since I work from home full time. About: For years, I've walked the fields and trails along the Potomac River with a furry companion - most recently with Flannery, my family's Great Pyrenees who loved romping in Virginia Bluebell flowers and sinking her paws into mud. About: Hi all! I am interested in doing some petsitting to find some dog friends for my pup. I am not a full-time dog sitter, however, I'd like to find some more dogs that my dog will play with & hopefully build some puppy friendships. I live in Leesburg and WFH. I work from home & my dog is cage free all day. I am fortunate enough to have a remote role, so my schedule is usually set to my own dog's needs. I am by no means a gym rat or a marathon runner. Yet that doesn't stop me from getting in usually 2-6 miles a day, both walking and running. While my dog is crate trained, it would be great if yours is as well, for those few errands that may take me away for up to 4 hours at a time (a busy week would be 3 half days in the office)
About: I am a responsible, reliable animal lover with a lifetime of hands-on experience caring for pets and large animals. I grew up with cats and large dogs and currently have two cats of my own. I have over 25 years of horse experience and have managed more than 60 thoroughbred race horses. Whether it’s a walk or drop-in visit I will provide attentive, dependable care and treat your pets as if they were my own. I’m an early bird who works from home, giving me a flexible schedule for walks, visits, playtime and plenty of personalized attention every day. I provide calm, attentive care in pets’ homes, I follow their routines closely, ensuring comfort, safely, feeding, play, and regular check-ins with each visit.
About: I’ve lived with pets all my life and currently have one indoor cat (spayed, friendly) and one dog (spayed, spends most time outside). I’ve done dog sitting for up to two weeks in the past and cat sitting for up to one month both in my home and at pet owners’ homes. Though I prefer felines as they’re easier to manage, small/medium dogs are certainly welcome — as long as they’re not too vocal. I am a long distance runner and hiker, so no walking distance is too far for me! My arm strength does have a limit, so any dogs over 30 pounds who pull/aren’t fully leash trained are a no-go. Additionally, I’ve done pet sitting for guinea pigs and rabbits for 1-3 day periods! I work part time and do most work from home, so I’m continuously available all week. My home is right next to the W&OD trail, so walks are convenient all times of day and the trail is never crowded. I’m always happy to drive pets to the trail as well. My cat remains entirely indoors, but the dog has endless pits of energy and so spends lots of time outside. We have two fenced areas, one specifically for the dog and another for the pool, along with ~1 acre of unfenced yard.
