About: Hi pet owners! I am Shelby and I moved to the Burlington area in 2022. l grew up with a precious Yorkshire Terrier and have had experience caring for pets of all sizes and breeds. It was great knowing Marlee was in a good home environment and the large fenced in back yard option. Although they had construction going on, I felt like Marlee had plenty space to roam. About: I’ve watched after many dogs, cats, and even bunnies of all ages since I was 12. While neighbors would go on vacation, they would rely on me to go over to their houses at least 3 times a day. I have three dogs myself and have been on ROVER for over a year. Usually my dad will come with me for meet and greets/first visits. Having three dogs myself, pet care is a big part of my daily routine! I have a flexible schedule, so I’m able to give plenty of time and attention to your dog(s). Walks, playtime, and making sure everyone is comfortable are priorities for me every stay. My family has a fenced-in side yard where dogs can safely play, and I also have three dogs of my own who love meeting new friends. If needed, I have multiple large kennels for crating to keep everything safe and organized. I make sure every dog feels comfortable and cared for while they’re here!

About: My mom was a vet tech growing up and I have been around all sized dogs my whole life. We have boarded them in our home, and I would like to continue to do so. Whether is drop in visits or boarding, I have a fenced in back yard and plenty of room to run. I also enjoy walking all dogs, and I love all breeds. I am a bartender, so I am free through the week and don’t go in until late on the weekends. This will give me plenty of time to check on the pets. I have two crates that I can use if needed. My house has a fenced in yard and an outdoor kennel as well if the pup needs fresh air. We have plenty of trails to walk (perks of living in the country” I have plenty of bones, toys, blankets, and anything to make your dog happy and comfortable.

Cici was ASLEEP a couple hours after I brought her home. She hardly ever settles on her own! I will definitely be bringing Cici back to Kelly's!”

About: Not only have Dan and I both owned and loved animals of all shaped and sizes since we were children, but we have both worked in a vet clinic for many years. I worked in the kennels, walking, feeding, and medicating dogs and cats while he assisted more on the medical side, even helping with surgeries! We both helped administer care in the clinic itself as well. We have given diabetic animals their shots, have administered IV fluids, asthma treatments, helped disabled dogs walk, and more. I was soon promoted to receptionist where I learned what symptoms and signs to look for when a cat or dog needs to be seen by a vet and what to do if they get diarrhea or eat something that they shouldn't. Me and Dan are confident we can give your babies the care they need and deserve. Currently, I work part time at a local non profit, but my hours are flexible since I make my own. I can leave for lunch to go walk/feed. I can walk/feed before and after work as well. I can also return in the late evenings to feed and walk. Currently, my fiance, Daniel, works from home and will be around to let boarders out and give them some love and attention when I cannot be there. He is also available to do home drop ins at times I cannot. I will keep in touch with the owner as we settle into a routine as I understand everyone's house/animals are different as are the rules. It's important to me that my clients trust me with their homes/pets. I will follow whatever instructions the client may have to the T and if anything out of the ordinary happens, I will handle it to the best of my ability and contact the owner regarding it. I, of course, will never touch my client's property except what is necessary and nothing will ever leave the house with me unless it's your animal's and we are going for a walk! When it comes to my own home, I live on a farm in a rural area outside Greensboro. I have an entire doggy/kitty room in my home where they can't get into anything they shouldn't for times I can't be with them. It has a door, but I normally just put up a baby gate so they can see the rest of the home and interact with my dog/cat over the gate unless otherwise requested. I have a large fenced in yard for off leash playing and running around. My dog and cat are both fully vaccinated and neutered.

About: I have had big dogs, little dogs, and in between dogs. I have kept dogs for several friends and family members, and have experience in keeping them in my home as well as drop in visits at their homes.
