“Farrah and her mom were amazing!! our little Oreo was so loved while we were gone, they were updating me everyday and sending me pictures of him. I would definitely book them again next time we go on a trip. ✨”

“Ron was fantastic with our dogs. This is our first time using him and we just love his dog. Our dogs played very well together and had so much fun. Ron sent nightly pictures and videos of our babies which was really appreciated. We looked forward to seeing how our dogs were doing every night. We will definitely use him again in the future. Thanks Ron!”

“Kristen is great with animals and sent me pictures of my pet when I was out. My dog honestly seemed to prefer her over me when I went to pick him up haha.”

“June, you are fantastic. Angel absolutely adores you and so do I. I can tell how relaxed she is in your presence. I love the fact that you play with her and walk her, and pay so much attention to her. I'm sure she is so happy she gets to sleep with you too. See you soon. Thanks again.”

“I had a last minute need to take care of my Sadie and nearly cancelled my trip! From the moment Wendy responded to my request I felt absolute comfort leaving my baby with her! The entire time she communicated with me and sent pictures of Sadie and her DARLING golden, Wilbur, together having the time of her life! I’m not sure who had more fun on vacation; me or Sadie?! Your baby will be well taken care of with Wendy 💕 I hit the jackpot finding her !”

“Destiny was wonderful ((and so was her partner, who also helps out). This was the first time we’ve boarded our rambunctious 6 month old big pup, and Destiny really put our minds at ease. Our dog has been a bit reactive to some other dogs, which we had been worried about, but Destiny helped us introduce our dog to her two sweet older dogs and it went really well. There were some barks at first but with Destiny’s very competent help we got through it quickly and our dog was a happy member of her pack after that. Her experience as a dog trainer really shows. Destiny was also very responsive and flexible. She sent us lots of picture of our dog having fun and lounging around while we were away. Could not recommend Destiny more highly.”

“Crystal is the best! You can tell she really cares for your pet and sends frequent photos/updates. My dog has the best time at her house and comes home exhausted from playing.”

“Mochi has a great time playing with other dogs in the house. I like it that she has a big yard with doggie door access. Brittany has been responsive, accommodating and caring to my pup.”

“Kelly was great. I received updates and pictures throughout my trip and my dog, Otis, was happy when I came to pick him up. I could tell he was well cared for and in good hands while I was gone.”

“Filanthi and her daughter were so loving to my senior dog, Nugget. I appreciate their enthusiasm and attention given to my dog who has limited vision and is hard of hearing. Nugget also enjoyed hanging out with their senior dog which made his stay more comfortable.”

“Ronnie was fantastic. He and his pups were very friendly and sweet to our high energy blue heeler. Edith basically had her own doggie vacation. Would definitely recommend to anyone who loves their pets like family.”

“The best. Kind and patient with our pets even though one of them was not being his best while staying there. Walked our two dogs, took them on car rides, and a trip to Petco while we were gone. Thank you! ♥️”

About: I have worked for six different kennels around town, one animal shelter, and volunteered for a spay/neuter clinic. It’s more a question of “what kind of dog have I not experienced”? I specialize in working with groups of dogs; I thrive on movement. I have been in yards with over 100 dogs. I have converted the downstairs and back yard of my condo into a dog daycare; fully dog-proofed. Your dog(s) will be with me - and only me - all day; this is what I do. My number one goal is safety; fun is secondary. I have seen countless fights happen for countless reasons. I believe prevention is more important than intervention. I will not use affection as a reward. My affection is free for dogs. I correct dogs. Do I correct the wrong dog or the wrong thing? All the time, and I eventually learn. If your dog is about to start a fight, or is not listening, I will absolutely put my hands on your dog. I also use a salon grade spray bottle as a squirt gun. I grab tails and scruffs. I do takedowns. I do the same thing with my dogs. You might not like me, but your dog will I promise. That being said, out of all the dog fights I’ve ever intervened in, not once did I ever feel the need to punch or attack a dog. I don’t allow collars in daycare because they pose a safety issue. Floors and walls will be cleaned daily. Turf gets foamed weekly. Poop and pee is cleaned immediately but will usually occur outside except for accidents. The harshest chemical I use is windex for the glass. For the rest of the cleaning I use Odoban.

Timothy C.
“Tim has the same Loyal, Playful & Intuitive energy as a dog! Dogs LOVE him (and people do too)! Tim leads the pack with adventure and structure. They listen to him and follow him & just don’t want to miss out on anything, it’s like magic. His "Shepherd's Retreat" is so adorable, clever & clean! I seriously want to be a dog and just hang out there. We can’t talk about Tim, if he’s not around, without spelling out his name. Because when we say his name, our dog will perk up and search everywhere for him! Our dog seems to miss it when she leaves his pack, but I’d rather it be that way. I can leave her knowing she is having a fun time and in the most responsible, canine-loving hands.”
Lemmon Valley dog parents share their Rover experiences
Shay was kind, communicative and flexible, taking such good care of Kota while I was out of town. Her dog was lovely as well, and our interactions left me feeling tons of peace of mind about being away. Definitely would recommend Shay if you’re looking for someone trustworthy who cares about your dog just like her own!
