About: Just moved from North Carolina to Tennessee! I recently retired from working in college athletics so I currently have plenty of time to take care of your pets! I have a 9 year old basset hound/beagle mix so I understand our animals are our kids. I can give your pup love, fun walks or any medications needed. I work from home so I can be flexible with days and times on when I drop in. If needed a last minute in-home or boarding situation please let me know! I know the feeling when emergencies come up. Please write down anything that I need to be aware of and clear instructions on how to best care for your pet. Example, love walks but afraid of amazon/fedex trucks, starts to pull if they see another dog.

It’s a repeating cycle—7 days on, 7 days off—so every other week I’m either working or completely off I pet sit because I genuinely love what I do — and animals love me back. Their comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priorities. When pets stay with me in my home, they become part of the family. I make sure every animal is well-fed, always has fresh water, and most importantly — plenty of playtime and affection. They get a safe, loving environment where they can relax and feel right at home. When I care for pets in your home, I follow all instructions to the letter — from feeding and medication routines to special care details. I send regular photo updates so you always know how your furry friend is doing, and I treat every animal like they’re my own. Respecting your space and your pet’s routine is always a priority. About: I have been taking care of animals since I was about 12 years old. I grew up with animals in my home so I feel that pets are members of the family. I was the primary trainer of our dogs in our home including basic tricks & leash training. Now that I'm an adult, I foster cats and also volunteer at a local rescue as a kitty cuddler to help socialize cats who are ferrel or shy to help them with a smooth transition to their forever homes. I also have experience taking care of other animals such as turtles, fish & a hedgehogs. I also have experience with administering some medications to dogs & cats. I have a large neighborhood that is perfect for walking dogs. We have a screened in porch that will allow for off leash play & fresh air.
