“Anaiah did amazing with our girls! Our cat needs medication multiple times a day, and she administered them as requested. Our picky pup likes having the tv on when she’s alone, and she provided that as well as all her other little side needs. Anaiah didn’t hesitate to ask questions about them/their needs which I appreciate a ton! To me that shows she cared about our girls and paid attention to details we forgot to mention. We got pictures and updates throughout us being gone! If she’ll have our girls again, we’d love to rebook in the future!”

About: I grew up with two dogs in my house, a pug and an English lab. I have extensive experience caring for animals and have cared for many pets for neighbors, friends, and family since I was in my teenage years. I am able to walk high energy dogs and have the flexibility with my schedule to spend 30 minutes to one-hour visits if needed. I just started a new job in Boone which means I have more flexibility in the spring/summer, less in the fall/winter. I can commit to short but frequent visits and/or longer drop ins that can include a walk and some play time. I am able to drive to your house and safely care for your animals. I grew up with animals and around animals making me comfortable with all breeds and temperaments. I am extremely detail oriented and have wide experience house sitting and dog/cat sitting. I enjoy getting animals outside for walks or taking them to a dog park for fresh air and new smells.

About: Along with cats and dogs I have cared for multiple reptiles such as pythons and geckos, rabbits, hamsters and ferrets. Your pets are family and I will care for them as if they are mine. I am currently a part-time sitter as I’m also in college. I’m free any time during weekends, but I work as a Vet tech for an emergency clinic during the week so my schedule on rover isn’t always accurate. My schedule is pretty relaxed especially now being summer so I will have much time to care for your pet's needs practically all day if necessary! I have been taking care of my own dogs for years and will be able to ensure that they are safely kept inside/outside during the day and in their proper sleeping quarters for night.

About: I’m a thriving college student who loves to create fun experiences with animals, with also fulfilling needs. I’m a super easy person to work with, I have a good schedule to work around. I will be home from college during thanksgiving and then from December 14-January 26th. I can only care for dogs at the owners house. I will be free most of the day each day of the week. I am willing to adjust around the owners needs and timing. I am a cleanly person, who takes pride in focusing on the detail of the care I provide. I work part time in a restaurant so my schedule is very flexible and open. I can work some longer night shifts so I unfortunately can’t always take care of puppies I will pay attention to the details you leave for me and communicate very clearly throughout the process. I think routine is important to animals and I intend to respect that.

About: I grew up beside a high energy husky pup who was my very best friend and the one who taught me what it means to love animals deeply. My mom modeled what it looks like to truly care for your pets as family, always prioritizing their exercise, comfort, and happiness. Now I have two pups of my own, and I finally understand what it means to devote your every day to their care. It can be stressful at times, but I wouldn’t change it for the world. Raising pets really does take a community, and I’m so grateful for the one I’ve built here in Boone. Because of it, my pups are always supported, able to socialize, and infinitely loved. I want to make sure you and your pets have that opportunity too. I work part-time at Watauga Opportunities and recently graduated from Appalachian State! I’m always looking for extra ways to move my body, so dog sitting and walking gigs are truly a luxury for me: a chance to do something I love while helping others care for their pets. I'm available most weekends and am happy to work around your needs! I have a fenced in yard for playtime at my home, either solo or with other dogs. I like to keep a consistent routine for the animals I care for, so I’ll do my best to match their usual schedule and make them feel right at home. As for dog walking, it's important that your pup gets the adequate amount of exercise for their breed- so of course I will try to match that as well.
