About: I love taking care of dogs and am happy to provide that care in the best way possible. I love going on long walks and am happy to help out however needed! I’m a college student with a pretty open schedule(mainly free in the afternoons and fridays) that can work out times to take care of your pets! I love going on long walks and getting outside and will happily take your pets on walks and will have lots of play time. About: I have a lot of experience with dogs, cats, and birds. I have administered medication for older cats and dogs, fed and rode horses, learned how to intervene safely in the event of a dog altercation, and love just spending time with pets of all types and sizes. As I kid, before everyone had a smartphone, I made fliers for dog walking and petsitting, and spread them in nearby neighborhoods. Throughout late elemtary school and middle school I did loads of dog walking and caring for pets while their owners were away. In high school my time was more consumed by schoolwork and sports, but I was still exposed to petsitting though my brother who did Rover constantly. I spent lots of time with him, and observed his tender and efficient care for the animals he looked after. Hello! I am a recent graduate from Appalachian State University with a degree in Agroecology (sustainable agriculture). In Boone I worked on a farm with livestock such as goats, chickens, and pigs. I also worked with children ages 4-14 for two years at High Country Forest WIld- an all outdoor experiential education program. I also balanced taking care of my two cats while having loads of schoolwork and trying to maintain a social life. Now I'm back home in the triangle and eager to continue working with animals, as its one of the things that brings me feel joy. Petsitting allows me a flexible job while I navigate this next chapter of my life and gives me another way to connect with the community in another way. I cherish each chance to meet everyone's furry companions & learn more about people outside of my daily rhythms. I am an avid hiker, runner, and nature lover, so am always happy to take along any pet that's down for an adventure to the nearby trails. I've watched houses with up to 7 dogs at a time, so I'm very comfortable with multiple animals and giving each one the attention they need. No one knows your pet better than you. So whatever information you would like to provide for me to know their needs while you're away would be appreciated. Such as the way they take their medication best, places they love to go, how they handle interacting with new animals/people, and any triggering behavior to look out for.

About: I've grown up with a love of all animals and have had at least one dog or cat in the family for as long as I can remember. My mom managed a boarding and training kennel and took me to work with her every day, where I not only assisted her with the daily tasks, but also learned about caring for animals of all types and sizes. I started pet sitting for family and friends around the age of 10, and also was responsible for taking care of the pets in our home. I take my animals out for regular playtime and bathroom breaks, clean up the yard, and feed and water as needed. We have an older dog so I've also gotten comfortable with administering medication, whether it's chewable, hiding pills in treats, or injecting into the animal itself. I was bit by the pet lover bug at an early age, and it's become a huge passion in my life. My schedule is open and ready to accommodate any of your pet sitting needs. I have reliable transportation so I can either stay overnight to pet sit for you or stop by for a quick check-in or playtime. I will treat your dog or cat like a member of my own fur family.I am comfortable feeding, crating, and administering medicine as needed. I will put the safety of your animals above everything else, so rest assured your pets are my top priority.

About: I grew up on a small farm in North Carolina with a veterinarian mom, so I’ve always been surrounded by animals of every age along with special needs animals. I started working as a tech assistant when I was 14 on my summer breaks and pet sat throughout the school year. I can administer medications, handle special needs animals, and animals of any age. I have a very flexible schedule, and am available all day Monday, Friday and weekends as well as late morning and afternoons on Tuesday and Wednesday. I currently do not have a fenced in backyard and have made the adjustment to getting my 3 year old pitty enough exercise with strictly leash walking! I take her on walks through the neighborhood every day, and take her on hikes as often as I can.
