About: I’ve had two family dogs in my life who have taught me a lot about taking care of pets. I have plenty of practice with safely walking dogs, cleaning up after them, and everything else involved in keeping furry friends happy! Prior to joining Rover, I’ve assisted various family friends with the care of their pets and am excited to meet more pets and their families! I have classes all day every Monday and Wednesday, but other than that my schedule is pretty flexible. I’m happy to work with you on the best time of day for me to care for your pups! About: Retired from workforce, former military, active person, daily walks with our dogs—neighborhood, parks, trails. Worked with certified dog trainer for our two dogs. Time on my hands. I am retired and have plenty of time when not playing with our own two dogs and exercising. They are the center of our lives. We have a fenced in back yard for our dogs. Since I am retired, and my wife works part time, I spend most of my time with our dogs. We will not bring client’s pets to our home nor will my wife be a caretaker.

My routine is very flexible so my day and week can change to accommodate your pet's needs! I can drop in, walk, and play with your pet as often as is needed! My pet-sitting will be done in the client's home to avoid stressing the pet, keep them safe, and help them know that their owner is coming back. It establishes a good routine to have me come to them! When I come over, I come with their favorite treat in hand so they come to think of me as a special visitor. Then I meet their physical needs, like food, water, litter box, etc. For my dog friends, I get them on their walk right away to avoid accidents. We enjoy long or short walks depending on the owner's preference and the pet's health conditions. After our walk, we have some bonding time before I head out. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
