About: I have 2 dogs and 2 cats that need a lottt of work. I also volunteered with cats at the Humane Society back in highschool. I am currently in school and have classes in the mornings. Check out my calendar to see when I’d be free to take care of your furry friends! My pets are all indoor, but I love taking them on walks/runs and playing outside. About: l am offering my pet sitting services for anyone living close to Boone, NC, that is in need of dog walking or pet sitting services. I was raised on a Dairy, Avocado and Coffee farm in the coffee region of Colombia and l have many years of experience with all types animals including: Dogs, Cats, Birds and even exotic animals such as Owls, Squirrels, Rabbits and my Cows, Chickens and Ducks. Being surrounded with all these types of animals since my childhood I was taught from a very young age to love, care and respect all animals. Some of my best experiences were learned when I assisted in the birth of our baby cows, and rescued new born, abandoned or injured animals around the farm. On many occasions I had to extensively nurse these animals back to health. While I speak Spanish fluently and some English, I feel very privileged to have been given the opportunity to offer my services and knowledgeable experience here in the United States, where pets are loved and respected as children. My husband, an eCommerce entrepreneur, and I are both fortunate to work from our home so all pets we take care of are always in good company and are never left alone. While pets stay in our home they are protected and well cared for and treated like members of our family. While living in Florida I owned and operated a successful pet business for 9 years called Aventura Pet Care. I always had the dream of expanding my Pet Care business and one day owning land where I could take care of many more types of exotic animals. Finally, we decided to fulfill our dream and relocated to Boone NC in 2021 where we started a small farm called Encanto Farm. Now with an acre of land we have plenty of space to continue our Pet Sitting business taking care of small and exotic pets and such as: Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Birds, Turtles, Parrots, Small Dogs, Cats, Chickens, & Ducks. They are only given food that corresponds to each pet. They always have their clean water, neat bedroom. We play, we walk and they are given a lot of love. I like to know the medical condition of pets. Additional if they are allergic or if they have any important condition. Very important to have full vaccinations and that they are neutered.

About: Hello! I am Katrina. I am a recent graduate of Appalachian State University with a degree in Recreation Management and a double minor in Non Profit Organizations and Animal Sciences. I am located in Clover, SC. I absolutely adore animals; that love started from our family dog, my yorkshire terrier, Buddy. I have a lot of different availability so definitely feel free to contact me and so we can work something out. I love meeting new people and pets. I have not only taken care of my own dog but many of my friend pets as well. In addition to that, I have experience working at a doggy daycare and grooming salon along with field experiences from school with a multitude of farm animals. I am a super quick learner and am so excited to meet many new animals. :) I am Red Cross Cat and Dog First Aid/CPR certified and Pet Emergency Academy Reptile, Amphibian, Avian, and Small Mammal Emergency First Aid Certified. I will follow any instruction you give me. I am comfortable crating a dog if uncomfortable situations arise. Reading body language is something I think is super important and practice often when handling animals. Constant check ins while I am with your pet is also essential in my care.

About: My family and I have fostered dogs and cats for the last 12 years. Through this I have gained valuable experience with working with a variety of dog breeds. Although, my experience goes beyond this as my love for animals is one of my greatest traits. While working pastime at a childcare facility, I have enough time throughout the day to check on your pet, let them out for a potty break, or just keep them company! Depending if I have any other activities or events to attend to, I’m pretty much free all the time. I currently have 3 dogs and 2 cats. For the dogs, we have a large, fenced in yard with plenty of room for them to run and play. All of our dogs have leashes and collars to ensure safety for us and our pets. As for the cats, they each have their own litter box which is scooped daily and their own food bowls.

About: I have taken care of dogs for 8 years. I value responsibility, care, transparency, and communication when in charge of someone’s pet. Nothing is more important to me than your dog getting to experience fun in a safe environment. I’m a senior at Appalachian State, and my class schedule gives me plenty of flexibility throughout the week, including days when I only have one or two classes. I have a dog of my own, so potty breaks, walks, and getting outside are already a big part of my everyday routine—and I’d love for your dog to join us! I especially love long walks, trips to the dog park, and finding fun ways for dogs to get their energy out while getting plenty of attention along the way.
