“Jakob is an amazing cat sitter! He was checked in on my cat on super short notice. My cat loved him and his through report cards were amazing. Would definitely have him catsit Jellybean again”

“Kylie was amazing! She checked in on the dogs while we were on vacation and gave them the interaction they needed. Prior to her stopping by (the first week of our vacation) they were showing signs of stress, but after she made her visits (2nd week), they started to exhibit less signs of stress. I appreciate her being flexible and allowing me to schedule the night before for house check ins!”

“Lisa was great with my cat, Leroy! She took the time to make him comfortable-- I could tell the difference when I got home, he was much more calm. I was also able to enjoy my vacation so much more knowing he was in good hands. Leroy and I give Lisa 5 stars!”
“We did an intro meeting so Luna could get to know a new person. Caitlin was patient, kind, and skilled. I had full confidence she would be great with Luna while I was away the next night. All went well!”

About: I’ve looked after the family dogs since as long I can remember. I’ve looked after all size of dog by dog-sitting for neighbors or friends over the years. I love both walking and running, so I’ll be sure your dog(s) get the proper level of activity they need! The pups in the photos live in New England with my folks, so I’m hoping to bring my experience here to Laramie! I’m currently in grad school and I have lots of flexibility in my schedule! Available all days of the week to give your dogs my full attention! Lots of playtime, attention, and walks to ensure your dog is fully engaged throughout the day and safe at all times. Leash is ALWAYS on anytime we will be going on walks or runs. Will send frequent photo updates so you can relax knowing your pup is healthy and happy while you’re away.
“Kamryn was outstanding and provided excellent care for Will, our cat. To best illustrate how amazing Kamryn was with Will, I will explain a couple things about Will. First, Will is very shy but also needy. Therefore, though it doesn't always appear so to an outside observer, he truly thrives on human interaction despite his shyness. He can actually get physically ill during our absences due to the change in - or sometimes lack of - human contact and socialization. Secondly, he is getting older, becoming somewhat of a senior kitty, and as such needs just a little extra care and attention from that perspective. Thus, one of the things we value most in a pet sitter is communication, and Kamryn truly excelled in this area. Given the two "Will traits" listed above, we particularly value communication, so (a) we can receive the per-visit updates (Rover cards) to get a concrete sense of his (hopeful) human interaction since he needs it so much, and (b) we can feel at ease that he is doing okay health-wise in our absence given that he is becoming a senior kitty. Kamryn provided amazing updates during each of her visits, so her communication was truly second to none and gave us peace of mind that he was getting both socialization and top-notch care. She always did the Rover cards, and was super quick in the back-and-forth messaging within Rover. Kamryn was not just communicative but extremely reliable - she always came on time for the full duration, and always processed the Rover cards. The second area where Kamryn was extraordinary was the socialization with Will - not simply from a communication aspect, but from the actual real and impactful interactions she had with Will. We have had a number of pet sitters through the years for Will, and frankly Kamryn did the best job ever at getting to know Will and getting him past his shyness. Usually, Will hides from people he doesn't know, and they don't ever get to know how much of a sweetheart he really is. With Kamryn, Will's tail was straight up in greeting when she would arrive, he led her around the house, and he let her pet him and scratch him all over - all unprecedented. In short, Will absolutely adored Kamryn. That has never happened with a "stranger" in all of his twelve years. In just a few short days, Will decided Kamryn was definitely not a stranger and it's clear that he wants to see her again! To have that type of skill with animals is truly talented and magical, and Kamryn has it in spades. We cannot recommend her enough!”
“Chasity was kind, helpful, and patient with our dogs! She did great with getting our dog his meds and took extra time to play with the pups. Would recommend her to others and will use her again if we need a dog sitter.”

“Rachel was wonderful to my energetic little guy! I am so appreciative that she came to meet him before and agreed to watch him even after she saw his hyper self. Definitely going to be working with Rachel again!”

About: Hello! I have had dogs my whole life, I love a good walk or run as do the dogs! All dogs need love and pets every day! hello! I am a sophomore at the university of Wyoming! I have a decently open schedule and am free of whatever makes your dog happy I strongly dislike when my dogs have to be kenneld. “Mandy went above and beyond while taking care of my cat, Leroy. She always sent me pictures and videos, letting me know how things were going. Leroy tends to not eat as much when I'm gone, but Mandy found ways to get him to eat and feel comfortable. We highly recommend her!”
About: My cat Anka is my best friend, and I will always treat your pets with the same consideration I have for her! I’m prepared to interact with them the way they deserve and spend genuine time, love, and attention. I can always rewash my hands, but I can never replace the opportunity to love on your fur-ball. I know being away from your family is hard too; I cherish the opportunity to make it easier by being dependable. I prioritize transparency and open communication because trust is important when you’re relying on a stranger to watch your pets. I am free otherwise, so I’ll have ample time to hangout with your friend! I have a very mellow cat who has lived with dogs, but she can also be secured in her own space in my house if needed. I have a large, fenced backyard and live near a park as well. I prefer to watch pets in their own environment to maintain routine and decrease anxiety, but I’m open to accommodating in my home as well! I have a car, so you won’t need to worry about pick ups or drop offs if that’s a concern.

Caitlin was wonderful!!! She took amazing care of my cat, Floki (and my home :)). She sent lots of pics and updates which is always appreciated. I hate leaving my little dude, so it's a big relief to know he's in loving hands when I'm gone. We will definitely be hitting C up again whenever she's available!

Emily was absolutely amazing and took such wonderful care of my babies! She followed all of my (very detailed) instructions so thoroughly, which gave me so much peace of mind. I also really appreciated all the photos she sent! I will definitely be booking her again in the future!!

Kailyn is a super sweet girl and started off by asking the important questions like what my cat enjoys best and his attitude towards new people. My cat can be super particular and isn’t automatically loving towards everyone so I really appreciated that. She answered all my questions and I came back to him well taken care of and everything clean and water in his bowls! Thank you

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
