About: I love animals and have extensive experience with cats, dogs, and exotic pets. I started taking care of cats when I was 15 before getting my own. I've had them nearly the entire time, except the last 2 years when I realized my new dog was not compatible with cats. I've had dogs from small to large since I was 16 (24 years). I worked in a small pet store that focused on fish, birds, exotics, and rescue kittens for 4 years and a kennel tech for 1 year in college. I've cared for friends' pets throughout the years. The cats have ranged from kittens to seniors, the same with dogs. I have experience giving oral medication (pills and liquid), topical medication, and injections to both cats and dogs. I have given oral medication to snakes as well. All of my cats were trained to walk on a leash through a lot of patience and understanding. My most recent four dogs all passed the CGC, even my blind chihuahua. If you have a cat and are worried why I don't have one, it's because my most recently adopted dog was supposed to be cat friendly but when we tested her she had too many reactions that made me feel she was unsafe to get a cat with. I am hoping with time we can change that as I miss having cats, but a cat's health and safety come first. I currently don't work so I have a fairly open schedule. I have meetings and appointments occasionally but they are scheduled well in advance and are easy to schedule around. I am unable to do overnight sitting due to my own pets at home. For cats, I make sure their basic needs are met (food, water, clean litter box, medication) and provide either cuddles, playtime, or just a warm body present depending on the cat's preference. For dogs, it depends on their needs as well. Food, water, medication, and time outside to potty is the bare minimum for drop-ins. Then social time with cuddles or play, again depending on their personality and what is requested. I will bring dog treats with me if ok with owner.

About: I have grown up around pets and livestock my whole life. I have always loved every pet and animal that has come across my path. I even am in school to become a veterinarian! I have taken care of other people’s pets, and always treat them as my own. Willing to give references if ever needed. I have my own pets; and growing up I had the opportunity to raise and care for many different animals and pets. Making my schedule work around the animals is something I completely understand. I have three classes and two labs at WCU. I am done by noon most days, with labs on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2. This leaves mornings and evenings as well as mid-day completely open. I have a fenced yard and take my own, dog-friendly dogs, on two walks a day which vary in location. I usually try to play fetch at least one of the times we go out, and the walks always last from 30-60 minutes.

About: I have been pet sitting since about 6th grade and I have grown up with cats and dogs my whole life. I have my own young lab, so I am very familiar with handling young puppies. I also had a 15 year old lab who was incontinent and had to wear diapers for a year, and she was also on all sorts of medication, so I also have a lot of experience with senior/special needs dogs. I have a deep love for animals of all kinds and always treat every pet as if it were my own. I am a college student with a very flexible class and work schedule, and I am pretty much always in town so I am almost always available! I have experience with all ages and training levels of dogs, and I also have experience with all ages of cats. I am very active so I am always up for taking your pets on a walk, or giving them whatever play time they need.

About: I have experience with all different kinds and size animals. I grew up on a cattle ranch and competed in 4h. My family has never had less than 5 dogs at the house that ranged all the way from yorkies to, herlers to, corgis to, pyrenees. I own a mastiff/Dane/ Corso mix of my own who is the biggest gentle giant. So I understand working dogs and excited dogs and even lazy dogs. I think it’s important for our pets to have consistency with food schedules, walks, outdoor time, and night time routines to help them feel comfortable. I also grew up sneaking barn cats home and had to learn to tame them so I’ve experienced some pretty feral kittens who turn out being so sweet. Our pets mean so much to us. I am currently working part time and have a flexible schedule! I always have my phone on me and can make myself available especially incase of emergencies. I believe it’s important to make sure dogs get plenty of outdoor time and exercise, It’s also very important to me to keep pets on a consistent schedule to help make them a little more comfortable. Being a pet owner myself helps me understand how important our pets really are.

I've been pet sitting and dog walking since I was 14, and I even have experience administering oral medication for dogs and insulin shots and metered-dose inhalers for cats. I am a full time Zoology student, but I have open time in my schedule to take care of your animals! My mornings, evenings, and weekends are usually free with more time here and there in between classes. I also play a D1 club sport in my free time, and am pretty active myself, so if you have extra energetic pets that require vigorous walks, runs and playtime, I am happy to provide them with that kind of exercise. I understand how important it is to have mental and physical stimulation, and I am enthusiastic to deliver that for your furry family members! I am a full time Zoology student, but I have open time in my schedule to take care of your animals! My mornings, evenings, and weekends are usually free with more time here and there in between classes. Pet safety is very important to me, and so is making sure pets are having fun! I always follow traffic and safety rules when walking, and prioritize getting to know your pet so they are the most comfortable they can be.

About: I’ve had pets virtually every day of my life; some with special needs - like lupus - so I can administer pills above and beyond basic care. I also took care of my own mother for many years so I’m patient and loving. My own 2-legged darling has 4-legged darlings of her own that compete with her husband. Let’s add your pack to our love fest. Between running errands and spending time with friends with disabilities, I will have plenty of time to play with and care for your 4-legged angel. I have a pet door from my house into a nice, large fenced yard with a friendly Pit-bull mix who loves to play. Or, I can certainly come to your house. I’m home most of the time and if I am doing errands, I try to take all dogs with me. Or, I can come to your house and take care of your 4-legged loved one(s). I have a fenced yard with a doggie door out of the house into the yard. Your loved one just becomes a guest member of my family.

About: I have walked many dogs, watched them for multiple days, and have some of my own and just adore all the time with furry pets. I work at night so no conflicts during the day and don’t really have much going on most of the time, pretty calm schedule always. I treat everything how I would want my own to be treated, I am considerate and very respectful as well as trustworthy and very clean.

About: I have been around dogs for over 20 years. I can connect with them in ways others cannot. I have never had an issue with a dog and people often tell me that dogs love me. I am currently looking to take on as much as I can! I am a runner so if your dog likes going on runs I can take them with me or if they like the slower pace of walking I can do that too. I’m a grad student so when I’m not in class I’m at home My roommate has a dog that stays in his kennel most of the day besides when he is let out and if there is another dog in the house that I am watching over they stay with me in my room and typically never leave my side

About: While I don't have a dog myself, I regularly help out friends with their dogs when they're out of town or need extra support. As such, I have experience with a variety of dogs in town. I'm currently self-employed and working from home, so I have a very flexible schedule! Since I have two cats of my own at home, overnight stays would be rare, but can stop in as much as is needed. I like to meet your pet before I start taking care of them, so I'm a known entity them. Otherwise, I'm a cautious person and will treat your pet like they're my own.

About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was 11 and love working with all animals of all ages. My wide experience with cats, dogs, chickens, cows, goats, and even fish helps me connect with each pet’s unique personality. I focus on trust, communication, and making sure you feel confident leaving your pets in my care I work part-time and go to school full-time, but my schedule is very flexible. I have time slots that allow me to make visits all throughout the day. Making sure your pets are happy and healthy is the most important part of pet sitting.
