About: (Helloo, my profile has two names because I previously had a roommate that helped care for the pets. Now it is just me, but Rover isn't allowing me to take her name off). “Kamryn was outstanding and provided excellent care for Will, our cat. To best illustrate how amazing Kamryn was with Will, I will explain a couple things about Will. First, Will is very shy but also needy. Therefore, though it doesn't always appear so to an outside observer, he truly thrives on human interaction despite his shyness. He can actually get physically ill during our absences due to the change in - or sometimes lack of - human contact and socialization. Secondly, he is getting older, becoming somewhat of a senior kitty, and as such needs just a little extra care and attention from that perspective. Thus, one of the things we value most in a pet sitter is communication, and Kamryn truly excelled in this area. Given the two "Will traits" listed above, we particularly value communication, so (a) we can receive the per-visit updates (Rover cards) to get a concrete sense of his (hopeful) human interaction since he needs it so much, and (b) we can feel at ease that he is doing okay health-wise in our absence given that he is becoming a senior kitty. Kamryn provided amazing updates during each of her visits, so her communication was truly second to none and gave us peace of mind that he was getting both socialization and top-notch care. She always did the Rover cards, and was super quick in the back-and-forth messaging within Rover. Kamryn was not just communicative but extremely reliable - she always came on time for the full duration, and always processed the Rover cards. The second area where Kamryn was extraordinary was the socialization with Will - not simply from a communication aspect, but from the actual real and impactful interactions she had with Will. We have had a number of pet sitters through the years for Will, and frankly Kamryn did the best job ever at getting to know Will and getting him past his shyness. Usually, Will hides from people he doesn't know, and they don't ever get to know how much of a sweetheart he really is. With Kamryn, Will's tail was straight up in greeting when she would arrive, he led her around the house, and he let her pet him and scratch him all over - all unprecedented. In short, Will absolutely adored Kamryn. That has never happened with a "stranger" in all of his twelve years. In just a few short days, Will decided Kamryn was definitely not a stranger and it's clear that he wants to see her again! To have that type of skill with animals is truly talented and magical, and Kamryn has it in spades. We cannot recommend her enough!”

About: I love animals and have extensive experience with cats, dogs, and exotic pets. I started taking care of cats when I was 15 before getting my own. I've had them nearly the entire time, except the last 2 years when I realized my new dog was not compatible with cats. I've had dogs from small to large since I was 16 (24 years). I worked in a small pet store that focused on fish, birds, exotics, and rescue kittens for 4 years and a kennel tech for 1 year in college. I've cared for friends' pets throughout the years. The cats have ranged from kittens to seniors, the same with dogs. I have experience giving oral medication (pills and liquid), topical medication, and injections to both cats and dogs. I have given oral medication to snakes as well. All of my cats were trained to walk on a leash through a lot of patience and understanding. My most recent four dogs all passed the CGC, even my blind chihuahua. If you have a cat and are worried why I don't have one, it's because my most recently adopted dog was supposed to be cat friendly but when we tested her she had too many reactions that made me feel she was unsafe to get a cat with. I am hoping with time we can change that as I miss having cats, but a cat's health and safety come first. I currently don't work so I have a fairly open schedule. I have meetings and appointments occasionally but they are scheduled well in advance and are easy to schedule around. I am unable to do overnight sitting due to my own pets at home. For cats, I make sure their basic needs are met (food, water, clean litter box, medication) and provide either cuddles, playtime, or just a warm body present depending on the cat's preference. For dogs, it depends on their needs as well. Food, water, medication, and time outside to potty is the bare minimum for drop-ins. Then social time with cuddles or play, again depending on their personality and what is requested. I will bring dog treats with me if ok with owner.

About: I've loved animals ever since I was little. Grew up with dogs and even at one point we had a cat. As a young adult now, I have a Jack Russell of my own who is 5 so I’m very experienced with walking and being responsible around a dog. I know how special the love and beauty that our furry little friends bring to our lives. I want to make sure yours feels that love and care too! My availability is open during the week and on some weekends if I’m in town. I am inbetween jobs at the moment so I have more free time! In a client’s home, I am committed to quality time with your pet. I understand the importance of being present and paying attention to detail when it comes to animals. Even if they’re not active and don’t need to be taken out for exercise, just chilling and keeping your pet company is key if I’m sitting. This applies the same way in my own home.
About: My family has fostered all kinds of dogs from newborn puppies and nursing mothers to older dogs recovering from recent surgeries/injuries as a Dumb Friends League foster home for over 5 years. During that time we had more than 90 foster dogs come through our house. We've also had a pair of cocker spaniels and a Labrador Retriever of our own. As a college student working part-time for the summer with shifts of only 3-4 hours, I am consistently available to come check in on your pet(s) at almost any time of day. I'm available to care for pets in your home however you wish. Without specific instructions, I'll care for them as if they were my own, with plenty of love and attention.
About: My family had beagles since before I was born! I grew up helping to take care of our animals, with the added experience of learning from beagles, which aren’t always the easiest dogs. I’ve watched neighbors cats and dogs, and here in Jackson have multiple families that I watch pet for regularly. These are cats, dogs, both, I’ve even cared for rats! I deeply care for animals and will make sure your pet gets the best care possible. About: I’ve taken care of dogs the last 2 years of my life and currently have a high-energy husky puppy. I’m used to the high energy dogs, and have no problem with the less-energetic breeds. Available to walk your dogs around the lunch hour, all afternoons and weekends. Other dog walking times can be available with a long enough heads up. I tend to keep a close eye on all the dogs I’ve watched. I make sure to keep their needs first and I stay off my phone when spending quality time with mine and others’ dogs.

When I was younger I grew up on a farm and have always been surrounded by furry friends ranging from cats, dogs, chickens, horses, goats, cows, and even buffalo.
