About: I treat every pet like family, offering personalized care tailored to their age, needs, and personality. From playful puppies needing basic training and structure to senior pets requiring gentle routines and extra comfort, I’ve got the experience and heart to handle it all. I focus on creating a calm, safe, and loving environment where your pet can truly relax while you’re away. Whether it’s medication schedules, quirky habits, or cuddle preferences—I pay attention to the details that make your pet feel at home. I’m currently a full-time student, but I have plenty of time to give your pups the love and attention they deserve! I’m available for boarding on weekends and on weekdays after 2 PM. Your pet will enjoy plenty of playtime, care, and companionship while you’re away. I have a secure, fenced yard and one friendly dog who loves making new friends—your pup will have great company during their stay! I’m also happy to crate your dog if needed to match their routine or comfort level.

“Wonderful experience!!! This was our first time using Rover, and our first time leaving our dog with someone outside of family and close friends. I am a nervous dog mom, and I really didn’t want to board her in a kennel. Angie seemed like a perfect fit, and meeting her confirmed our good choice. She sent daily updates and pictures. Our dog was so well taken care of, and we could not have asked for a nicer family. Smoochy was excited to see us when we picked her up a few days later, but she didn’t seem in a hurry to go home either. I think she would have been content staying indefinitely 😂. Angie is a wonderful communicator and it’s clear their family and home is a pet-friendly haven. Would highly recommend and will definitely book with them again if we are back in the area.”

“Erica was an amazing sitter for my dog Maggie! I am new to KC & my 8-year old lab has never stayed with anyone but family. Erica was communicative, let us do a meet & greet before, and ensured Maggie would be in a calm environment as she can get easily overstimulated. Her two boys were great help & showered Maggie with all the love - even getting her a little christmas treat so she wouldn’t be without while they were opening gifts <3. A 5/5 experience. Nothing better than feeling completely at ease with your fur babies care while away. Thank you Erica!”

About: Ive taken care of dogs since I was 8 years old. My family always had dogs, cats, and even a parrot. I have two dogs of my own now, a cocker spaniel and German shorthair pointer. Both are wonderful with other dogs and look forward to play dates if you need boarding. Animals love me because not only do I love them but I respect them. I respect their space, I pay attention to their body language, and I know when they are uncomfortable. It’s important for someone caring for your animals to have common sense but also be smart around animals to protect themselves, and your animal from other animals. I have experience with big bully breeds, small dogs, large dogs, old dogs, immature energetic dogs, puppies, and even dogs that don’t like other dogs or people. I prefer to care for animals that are good with people and patient with strangers. I will not put your dog in a situation with another animal where it will be harmed, anxious, or uncomfortable. You can trust me to make sure your animals are fed, happy, and healthy while I’m around. I have trained many puppies and understand the many tricks they can do to reach something to chew on. Our animals deserve the same care and attention we give humans (if not more). I’ll happily send you pics while I drop in to visit your babes. I work full time but am able to stop in on my breaks or when you need me to during the day, around my schedule. I am happy to board week days and weekends as needed and as available. I have a large fenced in yard that your dog will enjoy, as well as two pups that love when other dogs come to stay! I can happily crate your dog if needed and will feed them by your instructions. They will be happy, safe, and healthy. It is important that they are good with children as I have two.

“My cattle dog stayed with Krista and her family for a week over the recent holiday. She was AMAZING!! Krista sent frequent photos and updates, so that my family was comfortable that our family pet was being well cared for in our absence. Krista was flexible with drop off/pick up times and accommodating in scheduling dates. We will absolutely board our pups with Krista and her family again!!”

“We were so relieved when Nicole accepted our last-minute request to keep Daisy. It was such a blessing to be able to enjoy our vacation, knowing that Daisy was having a good time too. Nicole was always quick to respond, and flexible about the pick up time. We've already booked Daisy's next stay with Nicole.”

“We had a wonderful experience with Ashley. She took care of Prue, our 1.5 month old baby while we travel outside of the Country. She kept us informed the whole time, sending us picture, texts and videos of how well Prue was doing. Ashley is amazing!! She care and loved Prue as if she was her own and she is also very friendly and profesional. We could tell Prue had a fun time with Deiga, Ashley’s dog and now Prue’s BFF. My husband and I feel very lucky to have found Ashley. We highly recommend Ashley and will definitely use her service again if need it.”

“This was my dog's second visit, and again he seemed to have a great time and be well cared for! She sent updates and pictures every day, and he looked so happy in every picture! :)”

“My old Great Dane, Leo, was well taken care of :) And Kristy was so accommodating and helpful even when we had hiccups in our trip and were late to pick Leo up. Will book again!!”

About: I’ve always had a deep love for animals. I grew up with a dog, raised ducks, and welcomed any animal I could into my life. This passion naturally evolved into a lifelong career. For over 25 years, I’ve worked as a professional dog groomer and have provided pet sitting services with the same dedication. I’ve both taken and taught courses in animal behavior, training, and grooming, and I’m certified in Pet First Aid. Today, I share my home with two golden retrievers, 15 chickens, a cat, a pair of lovebirds, and my family of course. :) I work from home most days of the week, with the exception of three mornings. I have been dog sitting for many, many years and just fold our company dogs right into my life. Although my company dogs spend time with me when I am home, I do not allow dogs to be unattended together. When I leave the house my company dogs have their own private space. This space varies based on what the dog is used to (kenneled if that is their normal, or free in a guest room if they normally have free range in their home) As I mentioned above, dogs that stay with me fold into my life. Although my company dogs spend time with me when I am home, I do not allow dogs to be unattended together. When I leave the house my company dogs have their own private space. This space varies based on what the dog is used to (kenneled if that is their normal, or free in a guest room if they normally have free range in their home). I also feed dogs separately to prevent any food aggression or resource guarding. When caring for pets in your home, I typically do three visits a day - morning, afternoon and evening. Depending on the dog's personality, I will play with the dog or just hang out with them so they get some people time. While at your house I am accessing your dogs emotional status, bowel movement, food intake, etc.

“Brittany did an AMAZING job with watching my little Ham. She went above and beyond and exceeded all of my expectations for boarding a Havanese dog over multiple days. My dog has a ~very~ high maintenance coat, and I was terrified of leaving him with someone to groom him other than myself. (It takes a while for me to brush his long fur.) Brittany kept my little ball of fluff looking just as INCREDIBLE as when we left, and she also regularly updated us with pictures and photos for the fun that he was having. My dog absolutely loved spending time with her kids and dog (plus some other regulars!), and I absolutely cannot recommend her enough. GREAT JOB!”

Lansing pet parents share their Rover experiences
Rae was so kind and patient with me. My boy has quite the personality and is terrified of rain and storms. Rae constantly communicated with me ensuring he was ok, even letting him sleep in bed with her and her husband during the storms. They gave him the attention he needs, even with other dogs. She sent plenty of videos and pictures as well. Definitely put my own anxiety at ease so I could enjoy my trip. Thanks so much Rae and Chris!
