About: From terrier temperaments to retriever antics; high prey drive; fear aggression or strong willed; I have the knowledge to care and work with your dog or equine/ livestock. Can handle puppies to geriatrics. Able to play/reward puppies to gentle care for elders. If I pet sit for you, I ensure your dog is walked and played with to release energy as well as taking care of your home; collecting mail/ packages and keeping everything tidy! FYI, I don’t walk 2 large dogs at once- only 1 at a time. Also, rover doesn’t allow me to differentiate service radius between house sitting and drop-ins; hence, if a drop-in request is beyond 13 miles, the mileage and gas isn’t compensated by my drop-in fee. I showed AKC confirmation from 1994-2014; managed a 50-dog kennel in the 90s; and also have 13 years as a legal secretary. In my youth, I showed horses and French lop rabbits. I showed, trained and bred top winning American Stafforshire Terriers and Chesapeake bay retrievers. I did 22 AKC champions. Available days and/or nights. I am retired and have time available. Happy to pop in for check ups, walks, feeding as well as spending nights and taking care of your home. I care for any pet in accordance to the guardians exact wishes. About: Hi my name is Miriam! I love animals from dogs to cats to snakes to hamsters.🩷🩵 I’ve been helping care for dogs and cats since I was young. Especially for this one woman who my parents had known since they moved into the neighborhood at the time of my birth. She had 3 dogs and 2 cats (and 2 fish). I would walk them however many times a week she needed, more than usual when I was on breaks from school. I would occasionally dog/cat-sit at her house but not overnight. The dogs ranged from age 5-15, Tristan “the middle child” I remember the best and he was the biggest and most energetic of the three. I thoroughly enjoyed my time taking care of her animals! My elementary school had us take care of a hamster as a class and my middle school (same school) had us take care of two bunnies and raise baby chickens as a class as well. A summer camp I went to for 4-5 consecutive summers, Brown Academy, had time carved out for us to spend time with a variety of animals. I was also usually in that classroom during my free time as well. I cat-sat for a family in my neighborhood as well last year over the summer, brother cats in their teen years (SO CUTE). I also recently just finished dog sitting for a family friend who lives 15 minutes away in Old Town. She has two Shih Tzus who I made sure to walk twice a day, keep fed, clean, and play with during that week. :) I have always had a passion for animals, I believe they are so beautiful and deserve the world, I hope you will consider me to care for yours! I am a university student on summer break which ends August 20th! I currently don't have a job and am looking for animal care opportunities! About: I have cared for dogs in all stages of life. I really love dogs and the bond that is created between a dog and its owner. I have a border collie who needs daily stimulation and training. I have a daily routine with pet care as I have a dog of my dog. I think a big part of pet care is physical activity so I definitely try to do that every day. I’ve had dogs and a cat since I was young and was always held accountable to take care of them! I took a Veterinary Science class in High School and dealt with animals on a daily during this course (Bunnies and Puppies.) About: Hello! My name is Victoria. I am 27 years old and currently an Emergency Room nurse. I love all animals, and have been told more times than once that I should have gone to veterinary school instead! I have a 5 year old Golden Retriever, a 4y rescue saint bernard, and an almost 1 year old golden puppy. I love any kind of animal, but dogs would have to be my favorite. I have plenty of references available, and am very flexible. I would prefer to take care of your pets at your house if they are not good with other dogs, but I am flexible. My house has a fenced in backyard for your babies to run around! I am also available to come and meet the pets beforehand if wanted. Please let me love on your babies 🐶🐱 I currently work 3 12 hour shifts a week so I have plenty of availability to take care of your pets. I make my own schedule as well, so I plenty of flexibility.
