I’ve lived on a farm my entire life and have experience caring for animals of all shapes and sizes, from little fish, cats, and dogs to horses and cattle! About: I will take care of as if my own. I tend to get attached and fall in Love fast with furry friends. It’s actually called baby kitty syndrome. Like when you want to squeeze them so hard you will hurt them. Lol I need something to do with myself and make a little extra cash. I’ve lived with dogs, cats, birds, fish and rabbits all my life. I rescued 2 dogs, brother and sister, from the woods when they were 6wks old. They made it to be 16. I do have issues with my left leg/foot and lower back. So I won’t be able to lift more than 25lb max. I’m new to the area so this will help me to get out of my house and do something. I actually watch pets to get my fur baby fix and for a place to stay, specially when I travel. And im usually solo on my travels I will stay in your home to make things as stress free as possible for your fur babies. I will follow all your instructions and love them as my own

About: I am a dog lover who has a mini Bernedoodle. I have had senior dogs and dogs with extensive medical needs. I am able to administer meds in any way shape or form and have done the off leash K9 training with two of my own dogs now, so am aware of some basic commands. My husband and I both work from home full time. We have a great back yard for your pet to run around in with our sweet boy Winston. I have one sweet young dog who would love an occasional dog visitor and playmate. I will treat your pet just like I do, which one may define as a bit on the spoiled side!

About: Hi! We’re Colorado and Utah natives who ended up in Charleston, SC, for PA school before my husband’s job in orthopedics brought us to Virginia. We’ve fallen in love with this area and with raising our daughter here! Our 11-year-old beagle, Julia, is the heart of our family. She was our first baby, and I remember someone once telling me that when you have a child, you won’t love your dog as much anymore. I couldn’t disagree more! Julia is everything to us, and our daughter calls her “sister.” ❤️ I grew up with a dog who was my whole world, and I come from a family of dog lovers (my mom has THREE beagles!). When Julia was a puppy, we used Rover in Utah to meet other dogs and take them hiking with us. We’ve always loved having dogs in our lives, and we’re excited to welcome some new furry friends into our home here! You’ll often find us walking or scootering around CW with Julia, and if you hear a beagle chasing squirrels, there’s a good chance it’s us! We also have a fenced yard for sniffing, exploring, and I also work from home, so I’m around most of the day to keep your pup company and give them plenty of attention, playtime, and snuggles! We were lucky enough to find someone we loved for Julia, and we’d plan trips around her availability whenever we could. We take one guest dog at a time, although we'd consider a pair of siblings if they’re a good fit. We’re thoughtful about size, breed, and temperament because Julia’s comfort and our daughter’s safety come first. Our daughter loves dogs and is gentle and sweet with them. Julia’s best friend is a Goldendoodle, so we have a soft spot for those curly-haired cuties, too! We especially love sweet, easygoing older dogs, and we’re happy to consider puppies as long as they’re potty-trained. We do require a meet-and-greet before booking to make sure everyone gets along and feels comfortable. We know how hard it can be to leave your dog with someone else. We’ve had a bad pet-care experience ourselves, and it really crushed us. It made us realize how important it is to find someone you genuinely trust with your fur baby. We want you to feel good about where your dog is staying and know they’re being treated like one of our own. Julia has Cushing’s disease and takes medication every night, so we understand the importance of keeping up with routines and giving medications as directed. My husband is a physician assistant, and we’re comfortable administering routine medications, too. Most of all, we want your pup to feel at home here, whether that means playing in the yard, going for walks, or curling up for some snuggles. We’re happy to send photos and updates while you’re away because we know how nice it is to see your dog happy and settled. We can’t wait to meet you and your furry family member! 🐶

I stay home so your dog will be getting lots of attention and will be well taken of. Just let us know their exact needs and schedule so we can accommodate! I stay home so I have plenty of time to take your pup on walks and give them plenty of attention and cuddles! I offer letting dogs out every 2 hours if needed! We have a dog park right by our building that I take all the dogs to so they can get their energy out and plenty of sidewalks for daily walks! Dogs can roam free in my home! I worked for veterinary services specializing in boarding care for 8 years through out schooling -Will ensure your home is left in the condition received with minimal housekeeping (will take trash out and clean up any pet accidents they may have due to medical conditions. Additional requests can be discussed with or without additional pricing) -Our commitment is to ensure your pets safety, emotionally and physically as if they are our own -Regular updates will be provided streamlining communication -I choose Rover over other traditional “2nd jobs”, because I want to enjoy the work we do! Looking forward to meeting you and your fur babies! I have a full-time job, however, remotely!! This allows one person at all times to care for your pets, during most hours! My personal break(s) will be scheduled based on both client and provider agreed upon schedules. For example: after evening pet care, there will be a 2-4 hour provider break for dinner and family time before returning for overnight care. Home has pvc wood vinyl for easy mess clean up. The yard is flat and fully fenced in. Warmer weather will have plastic kiddo pools for dogs to cool off. If your dog weighs more than 85 pounds, I require dogs to be leashed trained and/or with a “no pull” dog harness for the safety of your pet and care taker. Meaning, dogs that continually pull excessively while on leash, will either receive short potty breaks, or only “fenced-in” activities. This will be agreed upon at initial encounter. We understand the need to burn off energy! We want to keep everyone safe while we strive to keep the routine as close to yours as much as possible.

I would be honored to share my heart with your family member. I have a fenced in back yard where your doggies can play and there are no other dogs or kids in the household. I also love to take them on walks in the neighborhood, if they like walks. They would get extra special attention and may come home a little more spoiled. I also love hanging out with your pets on the sofa and sleeping with them in the bed but if there is a specific routine you want me to follow, I will follow your instructions to a tee.
