About: I am trained in Fear-Free and worked at an animal shelter for 3 years. You can rely on me to give medicine and provide typical daily care such as ear cleaning and nail trimming if desired. In addition, I will walk your pet as needed and provide socialization and enrichment. I am a mom of 2 dogs and 4 cats in addition to my own children. My furbabies are always taken care of as soon as I wake in the morning and multiple times throughout the day. I have high expectations for the care of my own pets that I will carry over into the care of any pets in my care. I will provide the care and love you want for your pet while they are being cared for by me. They will receive top-notch love and oversight in their own environment so that they can feel comfortable and at ease.

About: As an animal lovers, I promise to treat your pet like my own. They’ll be in good hands with me for the duration of their stay. My dog has a strict routine as I believe taking care of pers works better with a specific schedule. He wakes up, gets fed, gets taken out, is given treats, among everything else at the same time. Every day. I work from home and that makes it easy to adjust our schedule. My dog gets taken out early in the morning and fed. After he then gets taken back out later that morning. In addition, we spend some time outside in the afternoon during lunch. In the evening, he’s fed and taken back out for a bit. Later at night, he’s taken out once more and given a dental treat before bed time.

About: Hi! I currently have a boxer/shiba Inu and a rescue puppy. My boxer/shiba went through an intensive training program where I was taught how to train a dog as well so I’m great with dogs. I love dogs (maybe more than people lol) and whenever there’s a dog around me my heart melts and I just want to play with them and take care of all the pups!! I am currently a teacher and work Monday-Friday. I walk and/ or feed the pets I’m worked with before work and then again after work as well as play time. In the weekends I’m home all day long as well as in the summer months. I care for all animals as if they were my own. All animal get attention, scheduled meals, and exercise. I also have gates to separate animals if necessary.

About: Hi! My name is Olivia, and I’ve been caring for dogs and animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up around pets gave me a natural love for animals, and over the years I’ve helped care for dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, and personalities. I have experience with walking, feeding, playtime, administering medications, and maintaining each pet’s normal routine to help them feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. What sets me apart is the genuine love and care I give every animal. I treat every pet like family and truly enjoy spending time with them, whether that means long walks, playing fetch, or simply keeping them company in their home. I currently have a very open and flexible schedule while I wait to begin my career as an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant in late August. Because of this, I’m able to dedicate plenty of time and attention to your pets throughout the day. My flexible availability allows me to accommodate walks, drop-ins, overnight stays, and last-minute scheduling needs whenever possible. I love staying active, so spending time outdoors walking and caring for dogs is something I genuinely enjoy during this transition period before starting work. Providing a safe, loving, and trustworthy environment for pets is my top priority. I understand how important it is to feel confident leaving your pet in someone else’s care, and I always strive to create a calm, dependable, and comfortable experience for both pets and owners. I live in a pet-friendly environment with plenty of safe areas for walks and outdoor time, and I carefully follow each owner’s home instructions regarding routines, medications, feeding schedules, and special needs. I’m attentive, responsible, and communicative, and I’ll always make sure your pet receives the love, attention, and care they deserve while you’re away. 🐾

I do have a full time job but I have a very flexible schedule and work from home. I begin my visits as early as 630 am and can do visits until 10pm in the evening. I work from home so I can adjust my schedule to accommodate your needs. I have open availability on the weekends. I know the stress being away from my furbaby in the past I couldn't relax because I worried about her safety the whole time I was gone. Which is why I keep you in the loop about your pet when they are in my care, you won't have to hunt me down to make sure they are having fun. About: Hi! I’m Gabby — a pre-veterinary Animal & Poultry Sciences student with years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all ages and needs. Animals are my whole life, and I treat every pet like my own. What sets me apart: • Shadowed veterinarians, gaining safe handling and health-monitoring skills • Experienced Golden Retriever breeder (whelping, neonatal care, tube feeding, CPR) • 3+ years of professional pet sitting with strong references • Puppy specialist — raising and training puppies is part of my daily life • Extensive senior & special-needs experience — I’ve cared for my own senior and special-needs pets, so I understand mobility support, slow routines, medication schedules, cognitive changes, anxiety, and gentle handling • Volunteer at my local animal society • Animal science & pre-vet coursework (behavior, nutrition, health, genetics) • Dog owner, so I value structure, safety, and emotional support I’m confident with dogs of all ages, breeds, and temperaments — from energetic puppies to older pets who need extra patience and care. You’ll get reliable communication, detailed updates, and truly personalized attention. Your pet will be safe, loved, and treated with the same compassion I give my own. Excited to meet your pet! 💛🐾 ⭐ My Daily Routine Pets fit naturally into my day. I start with morning feeding, meds (if needed), and a potty break or litter refresh. I only have one class a day, so I’m home most of the time to give walks, playtime, enrichment, and supervision. Throughout the afternoon and evening, I’m with the pets—doing walks, cuddles, behavior reinforcement, and keeping their space clean and comfortable. At night, I do final potty breaks/litter care, give any meds, and settle pets into a calm routine. Your pet is with me nearly all day, getting consistent care, attention, and love. In Your Home: I follow your routines exactly—feeding, walks, meds, and crate or free-roam preferences. I keep doors locked, maintain a clean environment, and make sure pets always have fresh water, a safe space to relax, and enrichment throughout the day. I send regular updates and photos so you always know your pet is safe. In My Home: Pets have a clean, pet-proofed space with supervised indoor time, enrichment, cuddles, and frequent potty breaks. I use slow introductions, low-stress handling, and separate areas if needed for shy or senior pets. I monitor behavior and health closely and maintain a calm, positive environment. I treat every pet with the same care, structure, and attention I give my own animals. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and trust always come first.

I recently used Larrissa to walk my dogs , and I couldn't be happier with the experience! From the first interaction, it was clear they were professional and passionate about pets. **Communication:** They were very responsive to my inquiries and took the time to understand my dog's specific needs and routines. Even assisted me with using this app for the first. **Reliability:** My dog walker was always on time and even provided updates and pictures during walks, which made me feel reassured. **Care for My Dog:** My puppy dog, Banks is still getting to everything, but Larrissa handled him wonderfully. He came back happy and tired after the walk. I am watching the dogs now just snoozing on the cameras. **Flexibility:** They offered flexible scheduling options, accommodating my last-minute changes wit. Overall, I highly recommend her to anyone looking for trustworthy and loving care for their furry friend

About: I've been caring for animals since I was 7 years old, and my love for pets has only grown over the years. As an adult, I worked at an animal shelter, where I gained hands-on experience caring for dogs with a wide range of personalities, needs, and backgrounds. I have also adopted and cared for three dogs of my own throughout every stage of their lives, from energetic puppies to senior dogs requiring extra patience, attention, and specialized care. This experience has given me a strong understanding of daily pet care, administering medications, recognizing changes in behavior, and providing the love and comfort pets need to feel safe and happy. I treat every pet as if they were my own and understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy to care for your furry family members. Whether your pet needs a long walk, playtime, companionship, or extra attention due to age or special needs, I am committed to providing reliable, compassionate care while you're away. I am currently in between jobs, which gives me plenty of flexibility and time to provide your pets with the attention, care, and companionship they deserve. Whether your furry family member enjoys playtime, walks, cuddles, or simply having someone nearby, I can tailor my care to their individual needs and routine. As a lifelong pet owner with experience caring for both dogs and cats of all ages, I understand how important it is to ensure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. From energetic puppies and playful kittens to senior pets who need a little extra patience and care, I am committed to treating every animal as if they were my own. I have a fully fenced backyard with a 5-foot chain-link fence, providing a safe and secure space for your pet to play, explore, and enjoy the outdoors. I do not have neighbors directly adjacent to my yard, so there is minimal concern about pets being distracted or stressed by animals on the other side of the fence. I am a lifelong animal lover and currently share my home with a senior dog, whom I've raised since she was 8 weeks old, and a young cat who has been part of our family since he was 8 weeks old as well. Having cared for pets through every stage of life—from playful puppies and kittens to senior pets requiring extra attention—I understand that every animal has unique needs and routines. When your pet stays with me, they will be treated like a member of the family. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and loving environment where they can feel at home while you're away. I personally allow my pets on the furniture, but I fully respect each owner's preferences. If your pet has specific rules, routines, feeding schedules, medication needs, or restrictions, just let me know and I will be happy to follow them to ensure consistency and comfort during their stay. I believe communication is important, so I am also happy to provide updates, photos, and messages while your pet is in my care, giving you peace of mind knowing they are safe, happy, and well loved.

About: Hello! I’m Nashaly. I have been taking care and loving animals my whole life. A few years ago rescuing stray kittens fell into my hands and became a hobby of mine, and my love for pets grew even stronger. From bottle feeding newborn kittens to cutting my own dog’s hair, I can provide walks, play, attention and care for your companions. I provide a peace of mind for you. I am currently working part time and I am willing to negotiate a schedule according to your furry friends needs and your availability. Please reach out to me for questions or concerns I have a fenced yard that leads into a bigger back yard (best of both worlds). I do have a 6 year old dog at home that minds his business and a very social cat that loves dogs. I am willing to care for pets in their own home, under the right conditions and boundaries of both parties.

About: Recently moved to RVA. I've taken care of cats all my life and dogs from time to time. From back when I was a teen at home with our family cat to ones of my own I've been caring for cats all my life. I have a deep understanding of cat body language, respecting their boundaries, and providing the attention and care they need. I work from home as a software developer and am looking for something to break up my day between calls and project tasks. Being a remote worker means I don't get much excitement day to day. Let me change up my day to day by helping you out with your pets! I live in my own home with plenty of space for walks, trails nearby for exploring, and an open and clean home for time away from the sun.

About: I love animals of all shapes and sizes. I love all breeds. I enjoy getting dogs to play and do tricks for treats. My family and I enjoy making your pet family. Sleeping cuddling and lots of attention is what they get while here. Most dogs don't want to leave when they come. I have several repeat dogs and they get out of the car and run to the house. Where they have an abundance of toys bones and beds to relax on. I believe the dog should be on your schedule so I do my best with that. Huge yard provides safe exercise time. Sunbathing an added bonus. I will even bathe your pup upon request. So don't stress and let me take care of the rest. I currently do this part time. Around working as a waitress part time. I'm available every 4 to 6 hours for pet care. I love this job. I have crates and plenty of space to separate if needed. I have filtered water. Treats of all types. I have toys for an aggressive chewer to a softy.
