Robin has been fantastic with Franco! She is prompt and communicative, she even let me know when he was suddenly ill and waited with him until I could get home and take him to the vet. She helped socialize him as a puppy and brought him all around the neighborhood. All of my neighbors tell me she’s great with Franco. I highly recommend her services.

We met Katie for a meet and greet and scheduled a dog walk together. I have 2 rescues who are both anxious and get nervous with new people. She has been very patient with them and asked lots of questions to better understand their behaviors. Katie has been great with our dogs and they are warming up to her. I will definitely be booking with Katie again.

About: I have over 4 years of experience pet sitting for dogs, cats, and small animals. I currently house sit regularly for a family in South Kent, which has helped me build strong routines and trust with both pets and owners. I currently work in the Washington/Kent area pet sitting monthly for a family in Kent and babysitting in Washington. I am looking for additional work whether that be walking/feeding or overnight stays. I’m very respectful of my clients’ homes and keep everything clean and organized, just as it was left. I also prioritize safety by making sure pets are secure and monitoring for any changes in behavior or health.

About: Hi! My name is cade I’ve had a dog most of my life, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I’ve also spent a lot of time helping friends and family with their dogs, from walks to full-day care. I’m very active and love getting outside, so your dog will get plenty of exercise and attention. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities, and I treat every dog like my own. I’m available most days of the week and always aim to provide reliable, safe, and loving care. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine, and I’m able to be flexible to meet your dog’s needs. I’m available most days of the week for walks, drop-ins, and sitting. I have work on Saturdays, so I’m typically unavailable that day, but with enough advance notice I can sometimes make arrangements. During the week, I have a flexible schedule and can provide consistent, reliable care, whether it’s daily walks or extended stays I mainly care for pets in their own homes to keep them comfortable and on their normal routine. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding, walks, and playtime. I can also board at my home if needed, but I do have a friendly dog, so your pet must be dog-friendly.

About: I’ve cared for dogs since I was young, dog-sitting for neighbors and people I know, and I’ve trained my own dogs as well, including my German Shepherd/Doberman rescue. I adore both big and small dogs and love taking high-energy pups on scenic hikes or runs. I prioritize safety, enrichment, and happiness, and I focus on building trust—dogs naturally seem to fall in love with our time together. I’m available most days for walks, hikes, and runs with your dog (rain or shine).I keep my clients local (within about 20 minutes) so I can stay flexible, dependable, and truly attentive. I provide care exclusively in my clients’ homes so dogs can stay comfortable in their familiar environment. I stick closely to each dog’s routine and prioritize safety, calm, and trust. I’m very mindful of both your dog and your home, and I focus on creating a relaxed, happy experience that dogs settle into easily.

About: When I was 10 I joined a dog training program through my school, that’s where my training experience began. I provide a premium, low-volume dog care experience for owners who want their dog to have more one-on-one attention in a calm home environment. Your dog won’t be just one of many in a crowded space. I keep my care more personal so each dog gets plenty of attention, supervision, and outdoor time. I have a big yard for dogs to enjoy, but my indoor space is smaller, so I am very intentional about keeping the number of dogs low. That means I can focus on your dog’s comfort, safety, and overall experience much more closely. This is a great fit for dogs who do better with a quieter setting and for owners who value quality of care over high-volume boarding or daycare. I generally only take one to a few dogs at a time unless they are from the same household. I have a lot of experience with senior dogs. I took care of my childhood dog for 17 years of her long, beautiful life. I have experience working with small senior dogs specifically and I know all the little things that they appreciate. I also have experience with large dogs and can handle very big strong dogs. I also love hiking with dogs so if you have an energetic dog you need to burn off energy I am your guy. I have an acre yard with a fenced in front yard in a nice area. Any dog that boards with me would be treated like my own dog and let out very frequently to go to the bathroom and play outside. I would always remain home with your dog. Thank you for considering me and I hope to meet your pet soon! I’m currently a fully remote student so I am fully available. If I board a pet I will be with them full time to make sure they receive the care they deserve. I have a fenced in front yard, and a good amount of unfenced land in the back. My dog is very friendly and would keep your pet great company. He loves dogs and cats. I can easily crate your dog if needed, but would love to give your dog the pet experience and treat them like my own. I live in a nice are and have great access to the woods nearby as well.

About: Growing up, I had a Lab and then a Boxer and two cats. I've also helped my aunt at the doggie daycare she runs out of her home where she often has more than 10 dogs at a time. Everything from a Great Pyrenees to German Shepherds to Doodles to Yorkies. And it's always so much fun! The care I'll give your pets will really depend on them and their needs. There's a very large unfenced grass area behind my apartment building that would be perfect for walks or play. And there are multiple parks in the area too we could explore. At yours, I'd keep whatever their normal routine is. Whether that's taking walks, throwing the ball or just sitting and chilling and scratching butts. Their butts of course! About: I am a mom to three human children, three dogs, and three horses. When my kids were younger, my "me time" was spent volunteering for various rescues and shelters. I love taking care of animals and found so much satisfaction helping out those poor little creatures who had no home to call their own! I loved it so much that I decided to start my own 501c3 nonprofit animal rescue! I figured that in doing so, I could help on a way bigger scale! Additionally, I could put more efforts in to helping people through the love of animals in need! Making the adoption process easy and fun, and making sure the humans and the pets are a wonderful match have made my rescue quite successful! Over the past 11 years I have rescued thousands of dogs, hundreds of cats, and three horses from shelters and other high risk situations! Throughout my years of taking care of pets, I have care for basically every age, breed, size, and temperament! I have also provided care on just about every level...from administering meds, IV treatments, vaccines, basic grooming, and basic training/behavior modifications. I joined Rover because I want to continue helping animals and support pet owners who need someone they can truly trust. I understand how important it is to know your pet is safe, comfortable, and cared for like family while you’re away. Being able to provide that peace of mind is something I take seriously. Every pet has unique needs, routines, and personalities. My goal is to provide consistent, attentive care while maintaining the structure and comfort your pet is used to. I also prioritize clear communication so you always feel confident and informed while your pet is in my care. My schedule has a lot of flexibility, and I am a full-time caregiver for these sweet babies! I will always do my best to be available for you and your furry family members! Pets in my home have my full supervision, and when I am unable to have my eye on them, they are either crated or in their own safe space! Our yard is fully fenced!

About: I've been working with animals for over 10 years. I love them all! I've done pet sitting for all types of critters over the years...from rabbits and ferrets to chickens, dogs and cats. My goal is to keep them happy while family is away. A happy pet is a stress free pet. Whether it be walks, cuddles on the couch or ball in the yard, we will do what's needed to be content. Having experience in a veterinary setting, I'm also qualified to administer medications to any pets that may require it. I'm the mother of 2 beautiful girls. We presently have 3 rambunctious cats and a guinea pig in our home. We just lost our beloved dog at 17 years of age. We all enjoy crafting and hiking in our spare time. I currently work in a 2 doctor animal hospital. I have a talent for multitasking. I can stay over (house sit) or depending on location, make up to 3 visits daily, as needed. I have complete respect for the homes of allvpets and their people. I also will take the trash out, pickup their waste in the yard or clean litter boxes, bring the mail in and water the plants.

About: I have had dogs my whole life but 2 of my dogs gave birth to 11 puppies in October of 2022 and I helped take care of them all until they were ready to go to their new homes. I kept one of the puppies and have taken care of her since she was a newborn so I am very familiar around all types of dogs. I’m currently available most weekdays and weekends. I keep my calendar up to date and do my best to accommodate last-minute requests whenever possible. Feel free to reach out with your dates, and I’ll respond as quickly as I can. I will make sure your pets are getting enough attention and exercise when you are away and will treat them like they are my own.

About: Since childhood, dogs have been an integral part of my life, starting with two Pomeranians, followed by an energetic Shiba Inu named Akira, and a loving lab mix German Shepherd named Stella. Over the years, I've gained extensive experience caring for these pets—whether through cuddling, playing, feeding, walks, or adventures. I've also spent time teaching them tricks and handling their grooming needs. Earlier this year, I began offering overnight and day sitting services, along with walks, for friends on Rover, and later extended my services to family and other referrals. I focus on building strong bonds and trust with the animals I care for, tailoring our time together to ensure it's both enjoyable and enriching. I've worked with dogs ranging from 4-month-old puppies to older dogs aged 13-14, and have experience with both a kitten and an adult cat. My approach is patient, compassionate, and dedicated to meeting the unique needs of every animal I care for. I'm a makeup artist who works both on location and from home. With a flexible schedule, I currently have plenty of free time to spend with your dog! **Dog Walking**: I tailor each walk to the dog’s individual energy level, adjusting the pace and distance to ensure they get the right amount of exercise. I also provide opportunities for exploration while keeping safety in mind, and I’m attentive to any health considerations or special preferences they may have. **Overnight Sitting**: When staying in a client’s home, I prioritize the pet’s comfort and security by sticking to their regular routine as much as possible. This includes consistent feeding, potty breaks, playtime, and providing companionship to ease any anxiety, particularly during the night. In everything I do, my primary goal is to build trust with each pet, providing them with a safe, loving environment where they feel cared for and valued—whether I’m working in my own home or in a client’s.

About: I grew up with as many as 5 cats and two dogs at a time. I am familiar with caring for most pets including rodents and fish. I work from home so taking a break to walk or feed pets is not an issue. There is even some extra time to give them some attention too! My dog has free roaming permission in the backyard and we also have a cage for large dogs available. For visiting dogs we walk them on a leash since they are not familiar with the area.

  • 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
