Dog Boarding in Lakeport, CA

About: I have grown up always surrounded by dogs and cats! Over the years I have seen and trained these tiny pups to become loving grown and loved adults. I have plenty of experience working with all ages from playful puppies to seniors I am currently a Full time mom, so caring for your pet fits right into my schedule and there is plenty of love to go around :) I am available most if not every day of the week/end. I currently live in a house with outdoor play space! Our pets have the liberty to roam around the house and make themselves comfy wherever they want. We live in a calm neighborhood with an enclosed front and back area.

“Tim did awesome with my puppy Bogie. I deal with anxiety and Tim helped keep me calm and not worrying by sending pictures and texting me how Bogie was doing. It was the first time I’ve left him with anyone. Bogie and Cali did great together. I think they might be missing each other a bit. lol. Definitely will book again when I need to leave Bogie.”

About: I love all kinds of animals. I have 2 schnauzers of my own, a kitten, and a hamster. I've pet sitted a bearded dragon and rescued an orphaned baby squirrel. There is no pet that I won't care for. I do have a huge soft spot for dogs as they are the pets that I have cared for the longest. I love going on walks and playing around. I used to volunteer at the LAAS shelter when I had more time. I received training from them on dog, kitten, rabbit, and hamster handling. I'm a full time student but my appartment does not allow me to hold more than my tiny kitten and my hamster. I would love to meet more pets which is what led me here. I make sure to keep pets inside or heavily supervised if they are allowed to go out in the yard. I am very careful with walking dogs as I am aware of how exciteable they are.

About: I have always been a loving and caring pet owner, and now I work with pets in a professional setting. I currently work at a dog daycare and grooming facility. I also volunteer at the Humane Society most of my weekends, and I board animals for my close family and friends. I work Monday to Friday, so I am looking for something to do on the weekends for a little extra cash. I would be free pretty much any time Saturday or Sunday. However lately I have been getting random days during the week off. I will try to update those available days as quickly as possible. When I care for pets in other people's homes, it really depends on the animal. One of my aunts has two yorkies, and they really prefer to do their own thing, even when my aunt and uncle are home. So I just let them have their space and I am just around if they want company. My other aunt has a Great Pyrenees and he is quite loving and wants to always be near someone. So I let him follow me around or I will go outside with him and let him run around and play. I always do my best to engage with them while also respecting anyone's space.

About: I have had dogs all my life. Never had a dog not like me. The property is fully fenced 6 acres for your pups to run and play on! I have a very open schedule currently. I have plenty of time to play with, and care for guest pups. My schedule is picking up and dropping of kids:) We have a huge 6 acre fenced yard. Our dog is a big, sweet, female. She gets along with most dogs. And will be a great playmate!

“Whenever I am in town I will definitely use Mrs. Rose and her husband Matt for boarding services. I’m very new the Rover experience but I can honestly say their care and experience was heaven sent. Both of my fur babies were very happy and well taken care of during their stay. My husband and I felt left feeling comfortable with our choice of boarding due to us having a large breed dog whom our hosts have years of experience ( GREAT DANE) and patience not to mention they had Danes for a long time and knew what and how to soothe my big girl. I can’t thank her enough for the early morning routines and play time. My girls slept like queens and the environment overall was exceptionally accommodating for my dogs. The drop off and pick up was super easy. I was able to enjoy my getaway with no worries as I was updated daily with pictures and videos. Mrs Rose and her husband are very instinctive and will definitely let you know if there are any issues going on. My fur babies were pooped and upon arrival at home this was the first time that they both weren’t anxious or overstimulated. They went straight to sleep and were so calm which told me a lot about their boarding stay. If you have a big dog they will be in awesome hands with Mrs.Rose and Matt and if you have a frenchie they knew exactly what to do for mine when we saw they weather might be too warm for my frenchie. Yogurt pops frozen treats and early morning play to avoid both my girls overheating. I could go on and on about how happy and extremely satisfied with our host.
