About: My husband and I have had animals in our lives for as long as we can remember. We share our home with cats and a dog, volunteer with local humane societies, and have experience fostering and caring for kittens. We’re also comfortable with senior pets and pets with medical needs after reviewing their routines with you. We serve the Hidden Valley Lake area only. We can care for pets in your home, or welcome them into ours if they’re comfortable around cats. We require a meet and greet before any booking so everyone, including our own pets, feels comfortable. While your pet is with us, we’ll follow their routine and treat them like family. My husband is retired, and I work from home, so we can give pets attention throughout the day. We plan care around each pet’s needs, whether that means visits in your home or a stay in ours. We start with a meet and greet to learn your pet’s routine and decide together whether they’d be most comfortable in your home or ours. Cats are our specialty, and we also enjoy caring for dogs who are comfortable with everyday walks and visits. We don’t offer dog training or behavior modification. A stay in our home depends on your pet being comfortable around our six cats and large dog. We have a fully fenced side yard and a fenced backyard, and visiting pets are always supervised outdoors.
“Leslie is truly a warm and compassion person. And she shows her furry guests the same amount of warmth that she shows to people. What I love is the condition that I receive my dogs in. They are old, but she gives them so much exercise that they come back with more energy than when I dropped them off! They truly seem happy staying with her. Leslie is also extremely communicative, very responsive and sends lots of photos.”
“Diego was wonderful for our needed long weekend get away. He immediately suggested a meet and greet, which I prefer for a first time stay. He is very detailed and genuinely interested in getting all the facts, tips, and tricks for our pup, Eire. He took her on daily walks, cuddled her, and sent photos while we were away. Diego was able to give Eire his full attention. Not to mention our pup was so happy and still wanting to play with Diego when we picked her up. About: I have always had a love of all animals from small to big. I love to be around dogs and play as much as I can. While in my care, I will take the dogs for an active walk and then let them run around the dog park for an hour. Sometimes longer if they are having a lot of fun. It's a solo walk right now but I have walked two at a time in the past. There are other times where I will just take them to the park and run them around and then walk back home. While in the home they will be showered in love and fun play time. Followed by more love and any snacks that you leave for your furry kids.
About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 10, which started with dog sitting my neighbors Doberman, and led to me dog sitting a cute pair of girls! I own 3 dogs and 1 cat I currently live with my boyfriend with our 3 dogs and 1 cat in Lucerne. I work from 7:30-5:30 and usually I am able to come home on my lunch break, 12-1, to let the dogs out. The dogs enjoy a fenced backyard most of the day unless there is a reason they can’t be outside. I am only available for housesitting on weekend nights. Weekdays I can do drop ins! I have dealt with dogs being scared over fireworks, which consisted of playing soft music, finding the quietest room in the house, and hugging her until the fireworks stopped. I work on whatever schedule you and your pets need!

Karen was amazing!! It was a short notice and she welcomed Rascal with open arms. I had a fear of leaving g him with someone as he's a bit of a nipper.
