“Karen watched our fur family for a week and we found her to be responsible, caring, engaged, conscientious and trustworthy, Karen has a true love of animals, and she connected with our pets right away. Animals were well taken care of, their regular schedule maintained, the house was tidy, and all plants watered and in healthy condition. We would love to have her stay with our furkids again. :) A great experience”

“Diego was fantastic with our Beagle boys, Royce and Baxter. Diego went above and beyond ensuring that the boys were cared for and keeping us informed daily. Would definitely recommend and book again!”

“Sarah was the best dog sitter we've ever had! We've only left Sadie for more than a week a few times in her life and I was nervous because she's old and was on antibiotics. Sarah sent pictures every day and Sadie looked really happy. She took her for walks, administered her antibiotics and really took great care of Sadie. Sarah also left my house cleaner than it was! I will 100% book Sarah again and feel relieved to have found someone I trust to leave in my home with my dog.”

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life, I’ve loved learning how each dog is different and what kind of care they need. I care for my own dog and family friends dogs as well. I am currently unemployed, while doing online schooling full time, I only have zoom meetings Monday and Wednesday from 1:30-2:50 but I am available anytime! I make sure to follow all the owner’s instructions carefully, provide fresh water and food on time, give lots of attention and play, and keep their home clean and safe for the pets. I also watch for any signs of discomfort or health issues and make sure the pets feel comfortable and loved while their owners are away.
“Jacqueline is incredible. She is very communicative. She came early and got settled with the dogs. The dogs loved her. She went above and beyond. Would absolutely use her again to doggy sit our dogs.”
“What a wonderful person! My dog absolutely loves her! And so do we. We felt so much better knowing our dog was with someone who would treat him like family. She even watered our garden while we were gone! She is a gem. If I could give her more stars, I would have! Thank you Susan!”
“Dorothy was amazing! She was so helpful with the animals and helping with medications as well as sending updated photos a few times a day. Great communication and very friendly and warm. She also left the house spotless and as clean as I left it! Absolutely would rehire!”
“Laura took wonderful care of our pups and house while we were away for 1.5 weeks. She was very communicative (but not overboard) and went above and beyond with keeping our house in good shape. We would book her again!”
“Haley was a great house guest and sitter! Having never used Rover and being new cat owners, we were a bit nervous to use the service. Haley did a wonderful job putting us at ease... regular correspondence, pictures and updates of our little kitty. She truly is an animal lover, and responsible individual that we will continue to trust in the future!”

About: I’ve loved and cared for animals for as long as I can remember. Currently, each of my family members is in a transitional stage of life (kids are in college), myself included (contemplating the next chapter), so none of us has any companion animals for the time being. Fostering has filled the gap somewhat and I’ve found that pet & house sitting does, too! I was an at-home wife & mom & spent my adult years homeschooling, volunteering, caretaking through cancer, organizing, and caring for a large home/pool/property &, of course, for our companion animals. I'm not a "neat freak," but I will leave another's home as it was found, or cleaner. I'm compassionate & nurturing by nature, so please feel free to let me know your needs and wishes. My schedule is entirely flexible, with advance notice. For those farther away: I love to travel and appreciate requests to sit in far-off locations; however, I must ask that either 15-30 days notice is provided for making arrangements (& finding affordable flight deals, which I will happily do & pay for, if the location is one I’d have visited anyway) OR that travel be paid for in full by the pet parent as part of the job. (Nightly rates can be adjusted to account for costs such as gas, flights, and/or ground transportation.) Please be mindful that international travel can cost into the thousands of dollars, may require more than 30 days for planning, and is not typically in my own budget. My passport is ready, though! I’m pleased to be being considered for this important job! Please know that I'll be available via phone/text (& trust that you will, too, at least for emergencies), would love to share pics if you wish (or would be happy to limit communication, if that's your preference), am adept at managing minor issues of urgency independently (but will confer with you if at all possible, as soon as possible), and will take seriously any necessary special precautions for the animals or the home (escape artists, meds, anxiety/sleep needs, food limitations, no off-leash time or things like mail/trash, off-limits rooms, a toilet that's out of use, plant handling, etc.). I'm largely a homebody and my primary goals are to be someplace new/different & be with your babies, so I will be present daily, including overnight if that’s what we’ve arranged, and will not host parties or people (unless one or both of my grown kids are with me, which we'll have discussed in advance). I might spend significant time studying if I'm taking a class (most likely online) and I may need to handle some of the tasks of daily life (getting groceries, etc.) during longer stays, but my priority will be to keep the animals and home you've entrusted me with safe, properly cared for, and tidy in your absence. That said, if there are places your buddy(ies) wanna go (trails, beaches, dog parks, obedience classes, the groomer's, etc.), we'll get out of the house and get our energy out! (And if slow/short walks or lots of lap time are what's in order, we'll readily do that, too.)
About: I’ve been taking care of my families puppy and my own kitten for about 2 years now ! Ive taken care of other peoples dogs in the past as well! I’m efficient and competent. Im currently a college student, so I spend most of my time at home and just in general I’m a home body. So, I have enough time to care and tend to pets and their needs. I’m very attentive to my own cat and families dog. They both have feeding schedules and are potty trained. I’ve taken my time to make them good pets. I’ve showed the same amount of attention and affection to other peoples pets as well.

“Julia, was the best fur baby sitter yet! Our dog Lola absolutely ❤️❤️❤️’s her so much! She gives her the happy Dance, butt wiggle, groans of joy! Our cat, gives her kisses and Julia, gives us lots of updates with photos and all. We will definitely be booking with her again. You should too!”
“Christopher is a true dog lover and I feel fortunate to have found him to take care of my pack whenever I’m not around. I have a lot of attendant anxiety when trying to pair my dogs with a suitable sitter- for no other reason than that they need a lot of exercise and ask for a lot of attention. Christopher alleviated every ounce of attendant stress experienced by leaving my dogs in someone’s care. He took my dogs on outings, updated me with charming photos and was completely unflappable when it came to managing two high energy and young labs along with a corgi who needs to herd everyone to feel fulfilled. On top of all of this, Christopher took excellent care of my home- maybe even leaving it cleaner than I did for him. 5 stars for Christopher, absolutely!”

About: I’ve taken early retirement and have a lot of time in my hands. I have been pet sitting for a client with four dogs, a chihuahua , two frenchies and occasionally a German shepherd in their home. I cook their food, and I am a great housecleaner so your space will be nice when you come back home. I will take loving care of your cat or dog, only one pet at a time unless they are from the same household. I do not have any pets of my own at this time, which allows me flexibility in my schedule to be able to pet sit. I look forward to taking care of your fur baby. I took early retirement, so I will be home with the pet all day and night for whatever is needed. I have experience with senior dogs and frenchies. I am clean and considerate and love to spend time with animals. Your pet will receive personal attention and care with affection. I look forward to taking care of your pets.
About: I started my dogsitting business out of my home over 6 years abo and now I petsit at people's homes. Animals are more comfortable at their own home I also have been trained as a dog walker at the Sonoma County Animal Shelter and worked at a dog kennel (now closed...Anderson Acres) I'm a personal trainer that teaches people on Zoom so I am at home most of the day. I am an active person that loves walking dogs and own 2 rescues. I only care for animals in the owner's home. I do not board animals in my home. I make sure that all doors/gates are secure so no animal escapes.
“Mariah was great! She sent pics everyday and truly gave our dog the love she needed. We felt comforted knowing Mariah was at the house while we were away. We would absolutely have her back!”

About: I’ve been around pets my whole life and have over 15 years of experience caring for them. I’ve also volunteered with the Humane Society and multiple rescues, so I’m comfortable with all kinds of personalities. I work remotely, which means I’m home and available to give pets lots of attention, care, and playtime. I work remotely, which allows me to be home and available throughout the day for consistent care, attention, and supervision. I’m able to accommodate walks, feedings, playtime, and check-ins as needed, and I’m flexible with scheduling to fit your pet’s routine. Whether it’s daytime care, overnights, or extended stays, I’m able to provide a reliable and low-stress environment. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I create a calm, clean, and secure environment and always follow each pet’s routine closely. With my experience volunteering at the Humane Society and pet rescues, I’m comfortable handling a variety of temperaments, including shy or anxious pets. I’m attentive to details like feeding schedules, medications, and behavior cues, and I always communicate updates so you feel confident your pet is in good hands.
About: I’ve spent several years caring for pets as part of my work as a nanny and personal assistant, so I’m very used to routines, communication, and handling animals with patience. I’ve cared for high-energy breeds like German Shepherds and Dobermans, as well as small dogs, seniors, and puppies. What sets me apart is that I’m calm, dependable, and observant, I notice changes in behavior, appetite, or energy right away. I’m comfortable with crate routines, structured walks, feeding schedules, basic commands, and keeping dogs mentally stimulated. I’ve also handled senior-dog needs like slow walks, medication reminders, and gentle mobility support. When I house-sit, I treat your home with the same respect I treat my own. I keep things tidy, follow your instructions carefully, and send regular updates and photos so you always feel connected and confident your pup is happy and safe. Whether your dog needs long walks, quiet company, playtime, or extra patience, I adapt to each pet’s personality to help them feel secure while you’re away. I’m currently in nursing school remotely, which means my schedule is very flexible and I’m home the majority of the day. When I’m house-sitting, your dog gets consistent company, supervision, and attention, I’m not someone who will be in and out all day. If I ever need to step out for a quick errand or class requirement, I always communicate ahead of time. I believe in being respectful of your home and completely transparent about my schedule, so you’ll always know what to expect. Because my program is online, I’m able to structure my study time around your pet’s needs: walks, playtime, feeding, medication, and potty breaks. This setup lets me provide calm, consistent care while keeping your dog’s routine as stable and stress-free as possible. When I care for pets in your home, I keep everything calm, safe, and consistent. I follow your dog’s routine exactly: feeding schedule, walk times, crate rules, and any house guidelines you prefer. I’m especially careful with doors, gates, and outdoor time, and I handle strong or high-energy dogs confidently. I keep your home tidy, pick up after pets right away, and treat your space with respect. Throughout the stay, I send regular updates and photos so you always feel connected and comfortable while you’re away. My goal is to make your dog feel secure in their familiar environment and give you complete peace of mind.
