“Virginia took the best care of our almost one year old Lab/pitbull puppy. She sent pics & videos & I can tell he was spoiled during his doggy vacation. Highly recommend for quality care and flexibility with drop off/pick up.”

“Christine is fantastic! She has a lovely home she keeps cool for the dogs. She sent daily updates with pics so I knew how my dogs were doing. She was also flexible when we needed to extend our trip by a couple nights. I highly recommend her and will be using her again soon.”

“After years of using another sitter we found through Rover, we had to find a new one, as our old one was retiring. Tim was great with the dogs and everything went perfectly. We will be repeat clients!!!”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 10, which started with dog sitting my neighbors Doberman, and led to me dog sitting a cute pair of girls! I own 3 dogs and 1 cat I am currently in school full time on Tuesday and Thursday so I have tons of time to care for all of your pets, it doesn’t have to just be dogs and cats, I also have a tortoise! I usually ride my horse during the evenings, but I am flexible! I have dealt with dogs being scared over fireworks, which consisted of playing soft music, finding the quietest room in the house, and hugging her until the fireworks stopped. I work on whatever schedule you and your pets need!
“Lola stayed with Abbigail for 2 days and everything went so well. She welcomed Lola as part of the family. We recommend Abbigail and will definitely use her again when we get the need for a pet sitter. Thank you for taking care of Lola”

“Tommy and his family were great. Princess (our little mixed breed dog) was well taken care of and was quite happy when we picked her up. Communication was very good, we received updates and photos daily. We won’t hesitate to request Tommy and his family’s help again in the future.”

“We could not have found a better person to watch our dog, Ellie, than Diego. This was our first time using Rover and first time leaving Ellie with someone new in a completely new environment, and Diego took such a wonderful care of her. He asked many thoughtful questions about her needs, spoiled her with lots of outdoor time and made sure to give her extra love and attention while we were gone. I would recommend Diego to anyone.”

“Absolutely amazing person, and wonderful pet sitter. I cant tell you how happy it made me that my dog had a great little doggy vacation with Leslie while we were on a human only vacation. My chihuahua is extremely attached to me and gets separation anxiety for about a day or two when he’s not with me. Leslie was able to get him to be comfortable with her immediately. I got pictures and text updates every day, she made sure they had nice long stimulating walks, and even bought him some skin and coat treats when she realized he had itchy skin. We would 10000000% have her sit him again.”

“This was our first time using Rover, and Anna was GREAT! sent photos of our sweet Holly, fast with communication, thorough. We felt so comfortable knowing that our dog was well cared for while we were away. Will book again if I’m in the area!”

“Charmaine did a great job boarding our fur baby. She was very anxious about being away from home for a few nights. Charmaine even let her sleep with her and shared pics. Very sweet and caring.”

“Karen was amazing!! It was a short notice and she welcomed Rascal with open arms. I had a fear of leaving g him with someone as he's a bit of a nipper. But Karen and Rascal got along from the beginning. She helped him out and trained him as well as made him feel comfy and at home. Will for sure work with Karen again on my next need to house Rascal. Thanks Karen!!!”

“We had a wonderful experience and would recommend her to anyone looking for a fantastic sitter! She took incredible care of Bailey, making sure he got plenty of exercise on a walk and even taking him down to a creek to splash around and swim. Her dog was super friendly and played so well with him. We would highly recommend her to others.”

About: I have always had a love of all animals from small to big. I love to be around dogs and play as much as I can. While in my care, I will take the dogs for an active walk and then let them run around the dog park for an hour. Sometimes longer if they are having a lot of fun. It's a solo walk right now but I have walked two at a time in the past. There are other times where I will just take them to the park and run them around and then walk back home. While in the home they will be showered in love and fun play time. Followed by more love and any snacks that you leave for your furry kids.
“With only a couple of days notice I asked Stefanie if she’d watch our shy little dog overnight who also needed to receive a couple of oral medications. Stefanie responded quickly to my request. Drop off and pick was easy and I received texts with updates & pictures showing our dog enjoying her stay. Our dog came home happy and healthy. Thank you Stefanie!”

“Thomas responded quickly and was very friendly! Cosmo clearly felt right at home with him and had a great time during his stay. Whenever we're in the area again I will definitely be reaching out to have Thomas dogsit Cosmo!”

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
