“Jen was amazing! We loved getting daily updates and pictures. We could always tell from the photos that our boys were having the time of their lives. Can't wait to have Jen back again!”

“Easy last minute booking, I literally had to worry about nothing. Many thanks!!”

About: I am a lifelong animal lover & care taker. I also own a small business making healthy pet treats, so your special fur face will be spoiled! I have experience with reactive dogs, behavioral problems, senior animals, medical issues, & a wide variety of species. I base my care around the animals needs, not my schedule. I am patient, steady, & calm. I have loads of engagement toys, puzzles & activities to keep your pet happy & stimulated. I have a very flexible schedule & work from home, so I can adjust around you & your pets' needs whether it's early morning, last minute, or before bed. I do not have a fenced yard, so I do not leave dogs outside at my home. I walk & take park trips multiple times a day. I have 3 dogs & a cat who are used to new friends visiting. I do not crate my dogs in my home, but am happy to in your home.

“Maggie was awesome and went above and beyond helping my geriatric Maine coon get her thyroid medication while I was away. She was super communicative, friendly, and patient even when Nalia (my cat) had her usual stranger danger up front. I could tell Nalia was healthy and happy when I returned home, and she really seemed to warm up to Maggie. Definitely will be asking for Maggie’s help again in the future.”

“Grave was fantastic! She gave detailed updates, sent photos, and made the visits seem fun. I felt totally relaxed with her taking care of my cat, and he loved it! She went above and beyond and took care of everything, including medications for my cat. Very professional, highly recommend.”

“Steve was a wonderful cat sitter, I felt much better leaving on a trip knowing my cat has a buddy to play with. Great communication, will book again!”

“Stacy was so helpful and responded quickly with our last minute request. She did a fantastic job taking care of our flock of backyard chickens and our blind cat, catering to special instructions and sending the best photos. We really appreciate her help!”

About: I have experience taking care of a high medical needs cat. I also have experience with deaf and blind cats. I understand each pet is an individual and will adjust my care as I get to know them. Some pets love human interaction and others need their space. I’m absolutely ready to kiss and hug them or give them the distance they need to feel safe. Nothing like the smell of fresh litter in the morning! I am a cat mom to 2 playful, cuddly adopted babies. I recently became a volunteer at a cat shelter, which gives me so much purpose. I have a full time job Monday-Friday. I am looking to occasionally pet sit on weekends and early mornings on weekdays. Home is a sacred place. I will treat your pets and your space respectfully. I can send you all the photos you need to feel comfortable, or video call you. I am comfortable cleaning up after your pet, and giving them all the cuddles and words of affirmation they need while you are away.

“Taylor did a great job checking in on my kitty while we were away. She did exactly what I asked of her and felt my cat and home were in good hands.”

“I am so incredibly grateful for Annmarie! When I returned home from my week-long trip, my cat seemed completely calm and content - none of the usual signs of stress and dysregulation that typically happen when I’m away. It was such a relief to see how comfortable and happy she was. My cat is very sensitive and generally doesn’t take well to strangers, but it’s clear that she took to Annmarie right away. The communication throughout my trip was excellent - I felt completely secure knowing my cat was in such capable, caring hands. Annmarie’s care was particularly excellent in every way. I couldn’t have asked for better pet sitting, and I would absolutely book with her again without hesitation. Highly recommend!”

“Anne did a fabulous job!! Her sweet, calm energy put my anxious cats at ease. She did wonderful with my finicky instructions, sent helpful updates with pictures, and took great care with my girls. I was able to relax and enjoy my vacation knowing they were in good hands.”

About: Experienced caring for dogs of all sizes, along with house cats, rodents and reptiles. Particular experience with medium and large size dogs who are anxious/reactive. Rates lowered while I establish myself on Rover. I work from home, so your dog will get a lot of attention when I care for them (and they'll probably get a nickname or two). Walks, bathroom breaks, visits to the dog park, and lots of pets and ear scratches all fit into my daily and weekly schedule with ease. I have a lot of experience with anxious dogs in particular, so am used to reading what a dog needs and wants with a close eye. I take care to make sure that a dog is comfortable with me, that I respect their boundaries, that I respond to their needs, and that we remove ourselves from any situation that might upset or overwhelm them. I often ask a pet owner for details about their dog's usual routine, any particular habits they have, their behavior on leash, and what gives them comfort. This helps me better respond to what the dog is sharing about their needs.

About: Hiya! ~ I’m Natalee. Nice to meet you! Im a proud dog/cat lover and have respect for animals of all sizes, shapes, and breeds! I spent my childhood caring for my neighbors dogs as well as the family pets. I’ve also cared for cats, Guinea pigs, snakes, and bearded dragons. In 2019, I adopted my three-legged rescue dog Link! Learning to care for an animal as an owner has taught me how to be a better human to myself and to others. I love living in pedestrian-friendly Madison. That means dogs everywhere! Anytime I see a dog out and about, it brings a smile to my face and brightens my day. I bring that same joy and care to every pup I meet, whether it's for a quick walk or quality playtime. You can count on me to treat your pet like family and make sure they have a fun, safe, and loving experience every time we're together. I’m currently working part-time on a flexible schedule. This means that I have plenty of time available to be there for your pet; even on short notice! Your pet's safety, comfort, and routine are my top priorities! I take all client instructions seriously—whether it's related to house rules, feeding, medication, or walking preferences. I'm committed to following your guidelines closely to ensure your home is well-kept after and that your pet feels secure and cared for. 💜

About: I’m a high schooler teacher on summer vacation with nothing to do but be outside and enjoy dogs instead of teenagers. Not only would I love to walk your dog, I am also willing to take them to any Dane County dog park (assuming your pet has the right registrations). I have more experience with large dogs than small dogs. I have the whole summer off with nothing to do but walk your dog! My Dalmatian requires 2-4 hours of exercise a day, so I am always out with her. Currently I am available for walks every day at any time. I can provide leashes and poop bags if needed, or I can use whatever you provide. If you are comfortable, I can take your dog in the backseat of my car and we can go to the dog park!

“Becky came to check on our little dog and took her for two walks. We appreciate how quick and responsive she is, and she took great care of our puppy. Thank you Becky! We hope to be repeat clients!!!”

About: I've had dogs and cats my whole life. I love a gentle giant as much as a little yapper. I have three cats, a bearded dragon, and a ball python myself. Dog walks are therapy, and I'm happy to dose meds, clean ears, or spend extra time throwing the ball (or snuggling with a senior buddy). I currently have wide-open availability and very flexible hours. I have organized sports I play in on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, which I simply work around for nighttime/evening potty breaks. I cannot offer in-home sitting at this time. My cats would be too disturbed and unhappy to have another fur baby in their shared space.

About: Happy, loving, patient and playful pupsitters who have experience working as kennel manager, dogsitter, and lifelong dog lovers. We love and care for all creatures big and small and happen to love dogs as though they were our own children (and they are.) My partner Jessie and I share all dog duties in our house. Someone is around the house every day of the week, as Jessie often works from home, and our two pups are always home. We strive to never leave our own pups alone for no more than 4 hours so there's always time and room for bathroom breaks. And if the weather is nice we leave the backyard door open for them to roam free (in a fenced area). It is the most ideal place for a dog to have room to move about, activities to entertain, and loving caretakers to help them live their best life. We have a fenced in yard and plenty of space to roam, along with healthy wildlife distractions, fun toys, plenty of snacks, and generous room inside the house for everyone to feel cozy, warm or cool, and always nurtured.

“Salem is an excellent sitter and responded to our last minute request for an extra care of cat sitting. Highly recommend, very reliable and communicative sitter. Thanks again, Salem!”

About: My wife and I have extensive experience with animals, having run dog boarding services and worked at dog daycares. I grew up with various animals, including six dogs, and have always cared for them with love and respect. We’re confident in handling any situation that may arise while caring for pets and treat them like family. Our multi-level home near Dane County Airport offers plenty of space for pets to play and relax, including a large backyard with a 6-foot privacy fence. My wife and I both have flexible work schedules, so someone is almost always home with our pups! We will try our best to accommodate any special needs for scheduling. We have a fenced in large yard and two friendly dogs to play with yours! We also have secure gates to section off our home if needed and multiple sizes of crates if your pup is crate trained and/or sleeps in a crate.

“Amy was absolutely wonderful with my dogs, she took great care of them and they seemed very happy with her. She lives nearby as well so we are thrilled to have found someone responsible and caring enough that we can trust with our animals on days we have to be away. Thank you so much Amy!!”

Laura S.Star Sitter
“Laura truly cared for my two dogs like they were her own. She was very attentive to their individual needs and quirks and went out of her way to make them feel comfortable with her. My one dog, Freddie, is fearful of new people and was initially skeptical of Laura. By the end of the week, she was easily his favorite human! It is a huge relief knowing your critters are well taken care of and well loved when you're away. She sent us regular photos and updates and was wonderful all around. Highly recommend!”

“Natalee Young is an excellent candidate for a job requiring the care of animals! She is a true animal lover who has grown up around them. She is compassionate and kind which is evidenced by her adoption of a three legged dog 5 years ago. She takes excellent care of him and has shown great responsibility as a dog owner in adulthood. She would be a wonderful caregiver to your pet!”

Bridget J.
“Punctual, dependable, and hard-working are just a few of the many positive attributes that come mind to describe Bridget. Whether it be a stubborn dalmatian, a homesick GSP, or a needy vizsla, Bridget brings the skills to handle any canine situation that has been thrown at her. She is able to keep up with dogs who need to burn off a ton of energy, remain calm and patient with slower aging pups, and handle everything in between.
