About: Hey there, my name is Holly and I love working with dogs. I have spent the last 10 plus years working with dogs at a local doggie day care facility. While working there I obtained a lot of knowledge and eventually earned a position as a supervisor and managed new hires on how to work dog day care yards. During my time I gained a lot of valuable insight on dog behavior while working in the dog day care yard. I also have owned as many as three dogs at one time. I have hosted several of my friend's dogs for overnight stays along with my own dogs and I would just love the opportunity to give them the best care and love a dog could desire. I have a passion for fur babies and treat them as if they are my own. I have a special relationship with my veterinarian and I have experience in giving dog medication if necessary. I am conveniently located to my personal veterinarian and other veterinarians as well as a emergency vet in the event your fur baby suddenly becomes ill. Having owned numerous dogs over my lifetime I am keenly aware of what it takes to attend to senior dogs. I have a lot of green space in my neighborhood for a comfortable walk on a leash and potty breaks. I am currently retired and available to baby sit your fur baby anytime including weekdays/nights, weekends, and holidays. I am flexible and willing to accommodate your fur baby's needs along side my own fur baby, Pinkie. I have a lot of green space in my neighborhood for a comfortable walk on a leash and potty breaks along with my fur baby, Pinkie for company and companionship. I am all about creature comforts and whatever your baby is used to for the best experience. Your baby is more than welcome to lay on the couch, sleep in my bed or can be crated if that is what they enjoy the most. I also offer Dog TV for viewing pleasure. You can expect lot's of cuddle time, potty breaks, walks, treats and toys to play with but most of all LOVE. I also have a habit of sending video's and pictures of your baby while you are away.

“Laura is great! I will definitely book again. She was able to keep my fur baby on short notice with no hesitation. Her home was clean and welcoming with fenced in back yard perfect for pets. My pup is usually very shy, but immediately warmed up to Laura and her husband. Laura kept me up to date on how he was doing throughout the stay and sent pictures as well. She's a great sitter!”

About: From fostering dogs with heartworm and post-surgery needs to building trust with the most timid rescues, I’ve cared for dogs in all kinds of situations. My experience goes beyond the basics—I understand how to read body language, support anxious pups, and manage specialized routines with patience and care. I hold a PhD in Nutrition, and while my focus has been on human health, I bring that same passion and knowledge to giving animals the healthy, happy lives they deserve. I’m attentive, experienced, and deeply committed to the well-being of every dog in my care. I can’t replace you in your dog’s life, but I can give you both the peace of mind you deserve while you're apart--whether it be for days at a time or just a short walk. I work mostly remotely, which allows me to be present and attentive throughout the day. My own dog gets three walks a day—totaling about 90 minutes—and we rarely miss one. I’m happy to include your dog in those walks or adjust the schedule based on their energy level and routine. Because I’m home most of the time, I can offer a calm, consistent environment and plenty of attention. I’m flexible and always aim to cater to each dog’s individual needs—whether that means playtime, quiet companionship, or extra potty breaks. In my home, pets are treated like family—often even better than the humans! 😄 I live in a spacious two-bedroom apartment, so there’s plenty of room for dogs to feel comfortable and move around freely. Dogs are always welcome on the bed and couches, and I keep fresh water available in every room to make sure they stay hydrated and happy. Whether it’s in my home or yours, I aim to create a calm, cozy environment where each dog feels safe, loved, and completely at ease. I follow any routines or preferences you provide and always pay close attention to each dog’s comfort and well-being.

About: I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family always had dogs, and I quickly became the go-to dog walker in the neighborhood. In college, I volunteered with the local humane society, where I spent time walking dogs and taking them on fun “puppy dates” every day. I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments—and animals tend to feel naturally safe and comfortable around me. More recently, I’ve also become a big cat person! We live in a dog-loving neighborhood where people are always out walking their pets, and my dog has regular playdates with the neighborhood pups. It’s a fun, safe, and social environment for any visiting pets!

“Lauren is a new favorite! She was a pleasure to communicate with — plenty of updates and very quick responses!! She’s great with dogs and kept me informed on my one dog who had a hard time settling, tried my suggestions, worked herself to identify what my dog was stressed about — honestly above and beyond. When I went to pick them up I found my two very happy dogs, tired from lots of playing and pets! My girls were in no rush to leave and one even kept wandering off to go do other things while Lauren gave me an overview of their daycare (usually my dogs would both be scratching at my legs to go!). Her two dogs have impeccable manners, even for my little dog who is still working on socialization. We love Lauren and will be adding her to our roster of favorite dog sitters!”

Cody H.
“It’s not every day that you come across someone as naturally gifted with animals as my son. I’m writing this letter not just as a proud parent, but as someone who has watched him transform a love for dogs into a calling. From a young age, he’s had a quiet, grounded way of connecting with animals that goes far beyond basic care. He doesn’t just walk dogs—he studies them. He watches their body language, notices their routines, and takes time to learn their quirks and comforts. I’ve seen him wake up early to work with shy foster dogs, spending hours with them to rebuild trust and confidence, never rushing the process. Patience is second nature to him. He has taken in fosters others might consider “too much”—those who need extra training, medication, or simply more love than most are willing to give. These dogs don’t just do well under his care—they flourish. He creates a calm, structured environment where animals feel secure and respected. What sets him apart is how seriously he takes this work. He keeps detailed notes on feeding, routines, training goals, and behaviors. He’s the kind of person who will triple-check that a gate is locked, who never forgets a medication dose, and who will send updates and photos without being asked—because he genuinely knows how hard it is to leave a beloved pet behind. If you're looking for someone who treats animals with the same care you'd give a family member—and who brings reliability, skill, and deep understanding to the job—then there’s truly no better person for the job. Sincerely, Angie Rourke (Cody's Mom)”
