About: I’ve taken care of animals for as long as I can remember! I was #1 dog sitter for about 5-6 neighbors through high school and college. I’ve taken care of many other dogs and cats as well. As a current medical student, I wish I could have my own dog but the time and finances won’t allow until I graduate. So for now, I can help take care of your pets and you can help me get my snuggle fix in! As a medical student, my schedule is often changing. I do have most evenings and weekends free for studying and I could always use a study partner or walk break! School is priority - but I will do my best to work with your schedule as well as my class schedule! I do currently live in an apartment, so boarding pets in my home is not a great option. About: I was trained how to train dogs at an early age after our first dog was trained by our breeder. Since then I trained 2 golden retrievers and an Australian Cattle dog (red heeler). Both breeds are strong willed and have high energy. I work from home and so have a lot of freedom to break away to take care of dogs. I enjoy taking care of dogs and sharing the knowledge from my experience of training and raising dogs. About: I honestly enjoy dogs and cats more than most people, sorry not sorry 😆. There’s just something about the trusting love of an animal that brings joy to life/my world. I’ve been a dog owner for over 15 years, first to my sweet Charlie - no longer with us; and now to our foster fail Maya. Charlie was a border collie who never ran out of energy. Like, ever 😆. He’s incredibly laid-back, patient, and unfazed by just about everything—I have never even heard him bark! He loves dogs and cats, has helped me host many pets over the years, and mostly just does his own thing while providing some quiet companionship. Whether you have an energetic puppy, a laid-back dog, or a cat who runs the household, I’m at your bark and call! 🐾 As I mentioned, I’m a doctor at Baptist Health. I specifically offer Rover during lighter months when I am at home most of the day. When I do go into work during these months, I’m typically only away for 2–3 hours at a time. I want your pet to feel as comfortable and secure as possible, so I’m happy to follow whatever routine they’re used to—feeding schedules, walks, medications, crate time, sleeping habits, and all their little quirks! I’m attentive and responsible, and I never take the trust of caring for someone’s pet or home lightly. If you’re hiring me to host your doggo, I live in a condo right by Railroad Park and just a block from Rotary Trail, so there are plenty of opportunities for walks and outdoor time throughout the day. My mom also lives only five minutes away and has a large, beautiful fenced-in yard that we can visit for some extra space to play and explore. At home, my calm senior pug Zeus is around for company but is very content to do his own thing. When caring for pets in their own home, I’m respectful of their space and prioritize keeping their normal routine. I will also send plenty of photos and updates so you always know how they’re doing!
About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was a kiddo! Dogs and cats. I had my maltipoo, Georgie, for 18 years. I had my cowboy corgi, Squeaks, for 4 years and just recently lost him due to cancer. He is missed very much. My work schedule is very flexible. I work from home and usually within an hour of Birmingham. Rarely travel out of town. I make my own schedule. My latest pup, Squeaks, had cancer. He was on a holistic journey from July to Thanksgiving. He was on all natural supplements and I also cooked his food fresh every week. Ground turkey, sweet potatoes and veggies. Unfortunately, his Tumor had progressed and I had to make the best decision for him a few weeks ago.
About: I have always loved animals- any and all types. I have owned dogs and cats as pets my entire life. I’m an honest and loyal person. I will provide the greatest care for your furbabies and make sure they are loved as my own. I volunteered with local humane societies and I also worked as an animal cruelty investigator for years. Animals live shorter lives than us humans so we have to make sure everyday is great. I have fostered numerous dogs and puppies that I found in abusive situations so providing a little extra care is no biggie to me. About: I have had experience with dogs of every kind since I was born. I have cared for dogs of all ages between eight weeks and eighteen years old. My family had no less than four dogs and two cats when I was growing up. I got to care for large golden labs and for elderly yorkies and I love them all! About: I’ve spent the last 3-4 years working remote and with my own dogs. I started dog sitting for for friends for a few hours, overnight, and for longer periods of time. There’s even the option of letting them play with my Aussies if the owner would like that. I work from home full time. Depending on location, I may be able to do morning or afternoon walks.
